I was glad that they…read morepaid attention to when my flight arrived because I wasn't aware that my arriving flight had changed until the day before flying out. Because I had entered my flight information they had moved up my arrival time. When I arrived I went outside to where there was a large bus waiting to be loaded. When the person arrived to check people in and load the bus I was informed that I was at the wrong bus service. I should have read my print out better and check in at the information desk. After I went back inside and went to the information desk I was told to wait by the sculptures for someone. Eventually someone arrived and then guided us to a much smaller and less luxurious bus and loaded us in. It was actually a ford econoline van converted to a bus. It was clear that the driver was not experienced with driving this route as he called into the office multiple times for where he was supposed to drop us off. He drove very fast around corners and we kinda skidded around some turns which was kinda scary and many of us got motion sickness including myself despite taking motion sickness pills. We stopped at a visitors center about 2/3ds of the way for a bathroom break which had a small coffee shop. After making the first stop at Creekside some people got off at this destination and there were supposed to be other local Whistler Shuttle owned busses that were supposed to take us to our individual locations. Most of our bus didn't seem to realize that; So when he called back in, there was some confusion and frustration that the driver didn't know where he was going, it also didn't help that he didn't speak the best English which lead to further frustration. It turns out that this driver and bus was outsourced (either because of the lesser amount of passengers or bus shortage) The day before my return flight I tried to check in only to find that my flight had been canceled without notification. I called Whistler Shuttle at 6pm, they say they take calls till 8 but no one answered and I left a message saying that my flight was canceled and wondered if they could take me to the airport early so that I could book an earlier flight. I called multiple times only to get the same answering machine. I never did get a return phone call so I booked a flight later than my original and just got picked up at the regular scheduled time. The return trip was much better as it was a large tour type bus with comfortable seats and even a bathroom in the back. We made a few stops to pick up people at different locations, luggage was loaded according to drop off location (international or within Canada) The driver was very friendly and kept us informed of arrival time. If I had that same large bus and service to Whistler I could have given it 5 stars but because it was outsourced and I had a smaller uncomfortable bus and speedy driver I can only go on my personal experience, not on what should be typical.

We called the Whistler Shuttle company and the lady offered to walk over to Air Canada baggage, take the wallet and have it on the next shuttle, AT NO COST. The driver then delivered it to our hotel in the Whistler village even though none of their clients on that trip were stopping in the village. Just wow, exceptional service and so professional. As for our trip up to Whistler, the driver was like a tour guide sometimes pointing out known spots in Vancouver as we drove toward Whistler. Comfortable, overall an amazing experience with this company that I highly recommend!

They were hired as our drivers for our wedding, and I wasn't sure what to expect - but this is easily the smoothest part of the whole wedding process. Not only were the drivers perfectly on time (ie 5 minutes early) but when we ended up being over an hour late leaving, the drivers were both super accommodating and friendly, the cars were very clean and comfortable, and (very smartly well stocked with water). I feel bad for the driver of the boys vehicle, KB who had to put up with a bit of drunken groomsmen shenanigans including harmonicas, but he tolerated it like a champ! I want to give a special shout out to the driver of the girls vehicle - Tomi. He was so courteous and willing to do whatever he could to help make out experience as calm as possible - including pulling up further to make sure I didn't have to walk as far in my wedding dress! He also picked me and my new husband up at the end of our night to drive us back home - and again he was super patient with us and even went out of his way to make sure he was driving us as close to our front door as possible. I have nothing but positive things to say about the whole experience from start to finish. If you need a transportation company that is reliable and provides truly excellent service, Griffin is your way to go!

What I liked best about them other than their top of the line customer service was their pricing model. I loved that I could simply book one way trips to and from the venue for the wedding party and I didn't have to book a minimum time block of two hours or more like some other companies. The drivers were friendly, helpful and willing to indulge us with our somewhat silly requests. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone I know.

The one issue was boarding - I only saw one bus on the schedule and thought it would be the only bus leaving Whistler - there were two buses and we boarded the wrong one. Fortunately we arrived early and the driver made an announcement to take a different bus to the airport. I was surprised he did not say anything when he scanned our tickets. It would have been a perfect experience if we didn't have to disembark and remove our bags for a different bus. There are a couple of additional stops along the way and the bus was not crowded getting to the airport. The bus ride was smooth and clean. As for recommendations getting from the airport to Whistler - I would recommend it only if you know the drop off location and how far you have to carry your bags to your hotel and you don't mind the extra stops from the airport to Whistler. A two hour Uber with an almost exact drop-off versus a potentially three hour bus ride - it gave us time to check-in, find a restaurant for dinner and enjoy the Fire and Ice show at the mountain on Sunday (which was not a planned).

That kind of inconsistent communication is unacceptable. Customer service was unreliable, and there was no proper follow-up or accountability. When delays happen 2 out of 2 times, it's clear this company is not trustworthy. I will not be using this service again and do not recommend it to anyone who values reliability and clear communication.

I recommend wearing good shoes with traction because you will be walking in the snow if you're going when there is still snow on the mountain. However once you come down the mountain, your journey comes to an end. We also explore the villages and it was pretty quaint and fun to check out all the little shops and restaurants. We definitely want to come again during the winter months and maybe get a few runs in on the mountain as well. When we saw the people skiing and snowboarding, we were a little jealous and wanted to do a few runs as well, but alas we didn't bring our gear. Next year for sure! We'll be back!
