Five-star service at The Four Seasons Whistler! Some things to know: the ski gondola is about a seven-minute walk from the first floor of the hotel. The hotel is really good about taking your ski or snowboard equipment at check-in, labeling it, and bringing it to the ski concierge, which is right next to the gondola. We would wear our ski boots to the concierge, but we realize the better way is to wear regular snow boots, and have your ski boots with your skis at the concierge and put them on at the concierge. That way you have to walk in the ski boots less. The individuals working at the hotel are truly professional! Clearly very well trained. The room service is excellent and the app has a very helpful chat feature that makes communicating with the staff a breeze. The valet team and baggage team are excellent and truly on their jobs as well. Really enjoyed it as well as our stay! Even though we would have liked to be closer to the gondola, the five-star experience here is worth the slight walk and it's beautiful anyway! The bar service at the pool is quite exceptional as well! Oh and if you are up early between five and seven in the morning, you can get free coffee. You can also get free wine between I believe five and 6 p.m. though it might be four and 5 p.m.; you should check. The Internet access is free and I would say it does qualify as decently high speed, though if you are streaming full HD for an upload, you might want to downgrade to 720p.

What a wonderful stay! Hubby and I stayed here for 3 nights in July for our babymoon. I may be a bit biased because I booked via FHR with the Amex Platinum card, so I did get a bunch of perks, but here are some of the highlights: Perks from Amex: -Early check-in at 12 PM (which didn't matter for us because we didn't arrive in Whistler until 6 PM) -Late check-out at 4 PM -Upgraded room to a suite -Daily breakfast included. This comes in the form of two breakfast buffets, or you can order a la carte ($56 value per person). Just keep in mind that entrees are pricey - $40 is the average, and a coffee is $10 -Free valet parking. This would normally be $60 a day -$100 property credit - this can be used for the spa, bar, or dining -$120 dining credit Pros: -Breakfast was great. We did the breakfast buffet a few times and there is a lot of variety. There's an omelet station, and various hot foods that change daily, including sausage, bacon, loaded hashbrowns, the fluffiest scrambled eggs ever, different types of salmon (candied, smoked, cured), and your breakfast basics like oatmeal, muffins, toast, etc. One day, they even had a crookie (cookie + croissant), which was surprisingly good -Outdoor pool - they'll find lounge chairs for your. You don't need to hunt/hover for one of your own, and they set up the towels for you as well. It gets crowded during the late afternoon though, because I guess that's when everyone is back from their daytime adventures and they have a bit of down time before dinner. That's when it's filled with kids and people drinking in the pool. We were still able to get seats though. The best time to go is in the morning. We went after breakfast one day at around 10, and it was nice and peaceful. They also have sunscreen and agua Fresca by the pool -Game area - they have a giant chess set, connect four, arcade basketball, and ping pong -Free shuttle into the village, that runs every 15 minutes. You can scan their QR code from the van, which gives you live updates -Free car service. You can call their number and they can pick you up from wherever you are. I'm sure there is a radius limit to this, but we called it one day after dinner in the village because we didn't want to walk/shuttle and it was late, and they came within 10 minutes -Newly opened mocktail lounge. This was a nice alternative to sitting at the bar since I'm pregnant. The mocktail I had was expertly made, and I didn't even miss the alcohol -There's a sensored mini bar in the room and we had asked if they would be able to remove the items so we can use the fridge. Instead, they just brought up an entire second fridge and set it up for us -Great water pressure in the shower, and lots of space to put your toiletries -Separate toilet area -Outdoor sitting area -Turn down service - someone will come by and remake your bed and give you some fresh towels -Television in the bedroom and in the sitting room Cons: -Pillows were not comfy and ended up hurting my back and my neck -AC is not that consistent. I woke up a few times in a sweat. The AC also blows over the bed As you can see, the list of pros is a very long one. If you just bring your own pillow, you'd be all set!

This is resort is hidden in the green trees of Whistler. This place is so beautiful and you feel like royalty when you stay here. The staff is so helpful and always smiling. The rooms are a nice size and we had so view of the mountains. Breathtaking and so peaceful. We had such a good time

Beautiful experience at the Four Seasons Whistler. The entire hotel was booked for our event and the way the staff elevated our stay was impeccable. They even came and catered the most delicious outdoor meal at the Olympic jump.

From the desk of Flopsie the Corgi. After a brief break from traveling due to covid, and new freeloader who joined our household (the small hoomin), we are back to visiting new dog friendly places. Where to? Opening Day at the #1 ski resort according to thr wall street journal 2 weeks ago. Checking into Whistler's Four Seasons was a breeze. My mahm told the concierge when booking the room. They ask for my name, age, and breed. From then on, they knew what size bed, bowl, and bandana fit me. As I stepped into the room, my stuff was all set up by the fireplace. FS knows I am important so I even have a special sign that says I'm important. Ha! So here's the deal. This place has a lot of small hoomins and dogs. People who stay here are families with 2 legged or 4 legged children. I met three corgis on this trip alone. Then there's this Yorkie down the hall from me. We met a scottie at breakfast, and a poodle at dinner. Yeah, I'd say this place is pretty good for socialized dogs. On my elevator ride up I met a dachshund puppy who didn't know how to dog yet so the owner had to pick him up. In the afternoon, I hang out by the fire pits during smores and hot chocolate time (for the small hoomin) and wine tasting for the big hoomins. The fancy steakhouse, Sidecut, has outside patio seating with heaters so dogs don't have to stay in the room. Oh yeah, dogs are allowed to stay in the room. There's even a special sign for the door that says VIP in room. P for pet. A tip for my fellow pups' poopscoopers: There aren't that many garbage cans around the facility. My hoomins awkwardly handed my poop to the hotel staff. My 2 big hoomins and 1 small hoomin love this place so much they made reservations to come back later in the season (when there is more snow).

You can never go wrong staying at a four seasons and this four seasons is no exception. Fantastic service, location and rooms!

I loved this resort. It was perfect in every way! The location was great as you could walk to and from the Village and easily access restaurants, shopping, and the gondolas. But, there also was a convenient shuttle and car service you could take into town. Service was outstanding across the board. The hotel was decorated beautifully for the holidays with many Christmas trees and sparkling lights. There also was an array of fun festive activities like hot chocolate, s'mores, and complimentary wine. They had calming holiday music everywhere. Our room was spacious but also cozy. We got a complimentary upgrade which was so nice of the front desk employee who checked us in. I loved the fireplace in the room, we kept in on pretty much constantly! The both amenities were nice and the bed was super comedy. House keeping was awesome and fast. We also loved using the spa amenities like the steam room and sauna. The three outdoor hot tubs and heated pools were excellent for the snow days we had! They also had drink service by the pool (though it was pretty slow). When we were there the chef was doing his GOA pop up, and we had the pleasure of eating there on our last night. It was the best food we had in Whistler. Everything was delicious! The food was creative but not tooooo creative, perfectly spiced (nothing too spicy or too mild), and you could really taste the love and passion in each dish. We tried LOTS of things: grilled octopus (tender, flavorful, and in the most delectable bed of potatoes), crispy pork belly (rich, loved the cilantro sauce), and the seafood soup (this was the stand out dish for me. I could eat this every day and I hope it makes it's place as a permanent dish at one of the other four seasons restaurants!) for my main I had the mushroom korma and my husband had the veal - we both though they were exceptional. We had both rice and paratha. The paratha was spectacular!!!! Finally we had the sweet dumpling dessert, another knockout. I can't say enough good things about the GOA pop up, so if you're in town when it's still going, go check it out!!!

I stayed here with my son during Easter week. While the resort itself is gorgeous and luxurious, the service was quite subpar, especially for a Four Seasons. See below email I sent to management. we stayed at the resort last night, and while the place itself is nice and comfortable, there were several Issues we encountered, which dampened our experience: - room not ready at 4 (taken care of with the $50 credit and was acknowledged by front desk without us needing to bring it up) - subpar experience at Braidwood. Initially, I ordered a Braidwood Hot Toddy. Our server came back a few mins later saying they couldnt do hot drinks anymore but then proceeded to give me options like an Irish Coffee or a regular hot toddy, which I ended up getting. When I got the bill, they charged me for the Braidwood version, which was more expensive, until I brought it up, after which they revised the bill. I also ordered the mussels for dinner. After a few mins she came back to say that that, too, was not available. - s'mores service - this was what most the most impact on our experience. I didn't even know there was s'mores offered until I saw a family by the fire pit enjoying them. My son absolutely loves s'mores and seeks it every time we stay at a hotel that offers it. Neither the front desk or the brochure mentioned this as we checked in. By the time we went downstairs to the lobby, they said they stopped service but suggested we go to Braidwood to ask. We went down to Braidwood and the front desk girl said they ran out. My son was so disappointed (so was I) and it absolutely affected the mood for the whole night. We checked in early enough where if we were at least told, we could have tried to get there before it ran out. We already had to wait in the lobby for our room that was late; we could have just gone down and gotten s'mores i stead. We know we could have gotten s'mores because we literally just mossed the last batch by 2 mins, when another family picked up the last set at Braidwood. While I travel a lot and stay at nice places, I tend to prefer smaller boutique hotels over chains such as the Four Seasons. It's because of my son that I stay at your hotels so when he's disappointed because of subpar service, that is truly disappointing to me. I realize that most of the staff in ski towns are kids who arent as well-experienced as in other places but we just stayed at another hotel in the village right before this and did not experience the type of amateur ignorance as the novice staff at the Whistler property showed (not up to par with other FS properties we have stayed at).

Oh my gosh what was up with the holes in the towels at the pool? Staff made good efforts but come on. The pool was swamped with people from Abbotsford and other rural areas. Kids abound. This is not a romantic getaway. You can do better Four Seasons. We went to the Fairmont outdoor lounge and had a stellar experience with live music and an incredible view. So embarrassed for my family and what a hit to the pocketbook.

We stayed for 2 nights. Check in was very long and as a compensation, we were offered an upgraded room, however, that room was available only for the 2nd night. At the fitness room I was asked to wear a mask during the time I was running. That is impossible, againts the Covid instructions of the ministry of health (see: https://www2.gov.bc.ca/gov/content/covid-19/info/restrictions#pho-order ). Quote: "Masks required at all times, except when actively exercising". Tried to contact the manager but they were not helpful. Note that requiring someone who is running 5 MPH for an hour to wear a mask is even dangerous, and unnecessary.

HOLY MOLY. This place was amazing. So beautiful inside and out and you can't beat the view. The staff was so friendly and everything was just so thoughtful. It is walking distance from the upper village and main village (or a short drive). It is also in walking distance of lost lake. Absolutely breathtaking.

We did not have breakfast here as we were hurrying to our next destination. Give yourself more time than expected as there was a line when we were checking out around 9 am. The place was packed with people, especially children since it was the last week of Spring break, There is also a gym here. Our room was surprisingly big. There was a sitting area with sofa and fireplace. There was also a microwave besides the usual fridge and coffee maker. No bottled water. The bathroom was equally spacious with a big bath tub and seating area. You could fit two in it. Same with the separate shower area. I do not understand why there are showerheads on both ends though, Maybe to save time if you are there with a partner to shower? Checking in and out was quite a breeze. No issue on that. The Den- supposedly their nice restaurant, is overpriced and served the same wooden utensils that we got on the plane from LAX--I've included a photo of the kale salad below-- $24.00. This wouldn't be so bad if we had expected an older motel. But for $14k for a week (a one bedroom suite and a 2 bedroom suite) this was a huge disappointment. The staff was very nice and apologetic- however I would not recommend this hotel if you are looking for a luxury experience or for services. This is more like a glorified motel. We didn't used it because we wanted to walk since weather was so nice, maybe next time. Hotel has a few restaurants and cafes. We enjoyed nice lunch at Portobello, I highly recommend their cuban sandwich and Belgium hot chocolate. Breakfast place The Wildflower was very crowded and service was very bad. Most of the people take buffet and if you want to take a la carte you will wait even longer for the food. However, egg Benedict was excellent and cappuccino and latte is speciality coffee and cost extra but it's worth it. We reserved the Wildflower for anniversary dinner. The ambience doesn't feel like in an upscale restaurant, maybe because we used to this as a breakfast place... Food was good my husband took lamb loin, I took elk tar tar that was divine, clam chowder was good as well. But we didn't felt romantic atmosphere, the place was very casual and we felt like we were overdressed. Service was better than service at breakfast. Room was very spacious, we got higher floor with a village view. Hotel was fully booked because it was last day for sky gondola for blackcomb mountain. Pool and spa felt overpacked! There were sooo many kids and few hot tubs were out of service. Overall we enjoyed our stay, however we felt it was bit overpriced. Room: 205 My husband and I were planning to originally camp at Klahanie Campground, but due to an unexpected storm that rolled in a week before our trip, we cancelled and quickly booked this place. We have no regrets!! First, the location is excellent. It's right in downtown Squamish! We were able to drive a couple minutes to the beach lookout, walk to Howe Sound Brewing (or you can drive, if you want), down the street from Climb On store and grocery store, 10-15 minutes away from Shannon Falls and Murrin Park, 5 minutes from Smoke Bluffs, and 10 minutes from the Chief. It's right next to this nice liquor store, too. We never felt unsafe in this area. It seems like everyone is really friendly here. We met Jared and some of the housekeeping ladies. All were very nice! Jared was incredibly helpful and friendly. He recommended SO many things to do: Alice Lakes, Garibaldi, Chief hikes, Shannon Falls hikes/gondola, Murrin Park, some scenic lookouts, and places to eat. His wife was super friendly as well. Laundry soap is $1, but we only had a $2 coin, so she gave it to us free because she didn't have change. Our room was neat, simple and clean. We had a window view of the Chief. There's a good sized fridge and microwave. Two fans, if needed (we never used it). Tv. Wifi. Laundry drums were huge, which was convenient to do one load. Soda machine and dvds for borrowing. **Stairs only to get up to your rooms. We didn't mind at all, but just making a note for people who have a hard time walking up stairs.** **Unfortunately, our room was next to the kitchen exhaust from the Ruddy Duck. We didn't mind though and closed the windows.** **No breakfast/continental breakfast** The reason why I'm giving this place 5 stars is because it exceeds our expectations of places we generally stay at. We're used to staying in dirt cheap places that are generally 2 stars on our climbing trips. We knew that this was an old building and neighboring a pub, so we were prepared and brought earplugs :P If you're looking to book in Squamish without paying a fortune, stay here. But, don't have high expectations like it's the Ritz. We cannot complain that we had a nice roof over our heads from the wet weather for $50/night. Thanks, guys, we'll be back next time for sure!

My review is going to be on a specific experience I had on the first night of a two-night stay in the hotel. I was in the area for work. I got to sleep around 10:30 p.m. and awoke at 11:30 p.m. to the sound of a very loud conversation going on between two men in the hall outside my room. One person was that one end of the hall, and the other person was at the other end of the hall. They had a 10 minute long, meandering conversation about meeting someone somewhere else, or making arrangements to meet, or something. A couple of minutes into their conversation I shouted through the door of my room " hey can you guys keep it down please" and was ignored. A minute later I made a similar request, and was ignored a second time. The third time I stood right behind the door and shouted "WILL YOU TWO SHUT THE F___ UP?! PEOPLE ARE TRYING TO SLEEP!" The hall went silent. And moments later, one of the men previously engaged in a loud conversation about absolutely nothing replied "well, we work here, and I don't appreciate being spoken to that way". I was stunned. And even today, as I write this, I cannot process the following things in my mind: 1) why are hotel employees having a loud personal conversation in the middle of the night in a hallway right outside the guest rooms? 2) when challenged on their behavior, who the waterproof f--- is going to defend their behavior on the grounds that their employment in a hotel grants them some kind of entitlement to bray like jackasses and keep the guests awake at night? I mean, they're the last people one would expect to be keeping the guest awake, because if guests can't sleep there, guests won't stay there. And if guests don't stay there, there won't be any jobs there. I'm no economist, but even I can understand this. 3) did they miss the two-week module in Hospitality employee school where they learn that the guests are there to sleep, not to be treated to the auditory portion of a subpar David Mamet play? I don't even think I can finish this review. My mind is so blown by first of all by the disruption and second of all the attempted justification of the disruption that I think probably the best thing for me to do is just start drinking now. I know there's a bottle of Amaretto around here somewhere..
