The deluxe Nachos - shredded beef & combo fajitas were S-Tier (aka the Best ever). I'm serious. Nachos were $11 for a massive portion. Fajitas $19 for a massive portion. After devouring everything I could barely walk to my car. Would highly recommend these dishes for anyone skeptical. Also I'm a big salsa guy and their salsa was very good. I had 4 servings. Service was top tier. They had two bussers who constantly brought over more salsa and drinks and were very polite. Service was quick. If you're ever in the Ely area this place is a Must Go. This place opens early, which is great. I usually stumble out of the hotel in my pajamas and get over to this place for my morning coffee before tackling the day. They have a lot of drink and breakfast options. Employees are friendly enough. They have an app. If you come here more than once, make sure you download it and get a free drink and earn points towards future purchases. They also have specials that you can take advantage of. Sounds great. So why 3 stars? Well, my order has pretty much always been problematic. I am not really fussy and normally won't return once I`m back at my hotel and find something wrong with my order, but it is sort of a bummer. Twice I have had lattes with no vanilla syrup as ordered and I tried an avocado toast once and the bread was barely toasted, still cold, and overall the meal looked sad. I have sort of gotten used to subpar service and food in Ely, but I really wish that this place would try a bit more. When I`m the only one in the drive thru and it is early, it isn`t too much trouble to make sure my drink is right. We went on two consecutive mornings when we visited Ely and although the service was a little slow during the breakfast the food was well prepared, presented and the server was very courteous. The food was exactly as expected, and I can't imagine how breakfast could be much better than this anywhere else in town. It was certainly several levels above any chain hotel buffet of heated up, pre-prepared foods. Tip - when staying for the free breakfast take the option of applying five dollars off of any menu item instead of the free breakfast. It's pretty skimpy. We paid about $25 for a very nice breakfast this way. Give it a try, especially if you're staying in the hotel. There aren't a lot of other options in Ely.
