She is amazing and most importantly so is her work. She does my color/highlights in addition to a cut whenever I need it. When I have an event coming up I always book an appointment with her to style my hair as well. Dorota makes sure to dye and do hair in the most healthy way possible. She actually cares about all of her clients and wants to make sure no damage is ever done. This salon also offers other services such as skincare, makeup, and waxing. My mom always gets waxed here and the facials are 10/10. If you are looking for a "self care" kind of day.. this salon IS THE SPOT! I brought in two Eadem lip balms and one Dior lip balm. This cashier somehow exchanged my two Eadem lip balms for the Dior lip balm that I had already brought into the store, which makes absolutely no sense. To be very clear, I said I wanted to RETURN my two Eadem lip balms and then EXCHANGE my Dior lip balm for a different Dior lip balm shade. Instead, she processed it as if I was exchanging my two Eadem lip balms for the Dior lip balm I already owned. Because of this mistake, I was double charged for a lip balm I already had, which is completely unacceptable. These were supposed to be two DIFFERENT transactions and she put it into one. I later called the store and spoke to a cashier named Jenna, who laughed and dismissed the situation. She even acknowledged that the cashier was at FAULT, yet still told me that they would not refund me and that I should dispute the charge with my bank. Being told to go through my bank to correct a mistake that was clearly made by the cashier at SEPHORA is extremely frustrating and unprofessional. She then told me to Google the Sephora customer service number as she did not want to provide me it and promised me that if I called I would get my refund but I still have no refund. I asked if I can come in s store and show my receipt and get a refund instead and was told that they won't refund me in store. This entire experience was upsetting and incredibly disappointing. If this is how loyal Sephora customers are treated when a clear mistake is made by your employee then you have lost me as a customer. I am still waiting for my refund and for the store to correct their mistake.

I came in for like 2 weeks straight until I got tired of being let down. There's a competing beauty supply store right up the street that has everything I need, but I choose to drive further and come here to pay higher prices for less variety so that I could support a black business. And when I got here, they were closed or didn't have what I needed so I had to go give my money to someone else. He had great recommendations regarding my hair and I let him take the charge because he made me that comfortable with what he was doing. I went for the side fade and a quiff and he did an amazing job and trimmed and lined my beard for no additional cost. Also there's a really sweet lady there who also does hair for females and is like a mother to the shop. She's a great person to talk to and all of us had an amazing conversation with a great haircut. I was looking for a barber since my move from Arizona and I found one. Great service and great prices. If you're a rutgers Student the price is $18 for the haircut. Comes back and says they don't have it. I go to my car and bring back my phone. I am trying to show him the tracking number from the phone. He insists on holding my phone. Finally I give it to him and say that I don't like people holding my phone. He allows a 5-second delay and says, "Huh?" I ignored him. He then repeats what I just said but in question form. I ignore him. He is doing all this extra reading to just take the tracking number. He lays the phone down and has the hardest time keying in my number. Finally, he verifies it is there. He and another lady go to look for it. She finds it. I said that it was right where he was looking before. He makes an excuse about the print was small and he read a different name. What a lame. Just apologize for taking me through it. He finally scans me out and tells me I am all done. On the other side, a lady is getting her passport pic taken, and it is right next to the chip stand. So I am waiting. He repeats that I am all done like he is rushing me out. I ignore him. The other lady looks at me, and I politely tell her that I want some chips but to please finish with the customer. I get my chips and go. Unprofessional, passive aggressive and rude. How do you handle customers so rude?
