He can be difficult and temperamental but she's been incredibly kind and patient with him. He loves her and her class and the fact that he keeps going back every Saturday for an 1.5 hrs away from his video games is testament to this place. Everyone I've spoken to there has been super nice and helpful, even if we'd had to reschedule a class at the last minute. I must note that my son did not love his first teacher and class, like I said, he can be difficult, but the director was incredibly patient and considerate and after listening to our feedback, switched him to a different class and teacher, which was much better suited for him and he's been loving it ever since. This is just to say, even if the first class doesn't work, you might give it another chance and try a different one. Highly recommend this place!

I contacted the owners, Terri and Sarah, and they were so incredibly gracious! They invited me over to check out the space. I really like the layout of this art studio because it's divided into different sections/rooms. One room would be where the kids do their sketching, and then another room is where the kids would take their sketching to go paint. The third room is where you can put all the food for your party and they have an awesome patio area that's right next to the food room where parents can also hang out while the kids can sketch and paint for the instructor in the other rooms. There were 19 kids total and it was so nice not to have the parents stand behind their kiddos the entire time to watch them paint because there's no where to go!! All of the parents told me they had NO IDEA this place existed. Because it's on Artesia , which is quite a busy street that people take to get from one place to the next it's really not the kind of place that people stroll around on. Sarah and Terri will work with you on what kind of theme/ sketch to guide the kids. It was an amazing party! Everyone loved it! And my daughter said it was the best birthday ever! Yay! Success! SBAD focus on a different topic/theme each day so the children have plenty of time to be creative and really think about what they would like to make. My daughter, aged 7 loved going each day and came home with some stunning pieces of art. She also LOVED the teachers who are not only skilled artistically, but are genuinely kind people who make all the children feel welcome and at home. This is the only camp (ever!) that my son and daughter have attended and been very grumpy that I only booked one week! Needless to say, we will be returning for the Thanksgiving camp!

It honestly felt like they only want to interact with you if you're already enrolled in a class. If the studio is only open to students, just say so instead of putting out signs that make it seem open to the public. Sarcastically, I joked to myself that if I looked like a drug dealer, someone probably would have run to the door. Instead, I was just ignored. Very disappointing experience and a waste of time.

But we spent alittle over $300 there on everything! There is a $35 or $45 entrance fee depending on when you come. It's just to come inside the lagoon. If you want the obstacle course it's an additional $10 per person for 55 mins (super short). If you want to kayak, use the aqua bike or use the paddleboard it's an additional $10 per equipment/item. There is a kiddie area for small and young children. They DO NOT allow outside food or drinks except water! There is a small shop that sells misc. items, snacks & drinks (overpriced). They also had a foodtruck inside that was expensive and the meals didn't come with drinks. They do have plenty of staff and lifeguards there. The entrance fee should of been $15-20. The obstacle course atleast 90-120 mins instead of the 55 mins. Wish the foodtruck came with drinks and was a bigger portion.

My kids aren't in the program yet but we are excited about signing them up. They have programs ranging from musical theatre to stage FX makeup. It's a 2 week program and then they can do showcase at the end of camp. The staff have been very pleasant to work with in answering all our questions about the camp. There is an option to become a PAW ambassador that gives you 50% off as many sessions of summer camp as you would want as a service-in-exchange for tuition program. For each 8 hours of time you volunteer, you will get half off each session of camp as long as you complete your volunteer hours before 6/15. If not, can use this coupon too! read more

My son loves paw theatre camp so much! This would be our third year ... the counselors first up are Amazing! They are kind and fun and really entertain the kids .. In just two wonderful weeks your kids will learn choreography, lines and songs from start to finish and you'll wonder what magic was at play .. my kiddo comes home every day asking if he could go to a "real school" like this !! They adapt the ideas to include lots of new roles and lines for as many kids as possible and the shows are fantastic.!! Definitely recommend!!! read more

I am always amazed at the costumes, set and production quality of the final show. I have an older daughter who has been coming for over 4 years. She started with a few My Statges shows and is now doing her second mini POPs show which has been such a confidence building experience for her. She was always a bit introverted, struggled with speaking to anyone she didn't know, but now I have over heard her credit her enjoyment of presenting class projects with friends at school to feeling confident in front of any audience size as a performer here. The staff truly feel like family to our daughters. They are exceptional acting, choreography and singing teachers! I really find it sweet that a few of the teachers even were students here when they were growing up. I think my daughter's only regret is that they don't spend more of their time after school here, so they and their friends always ask to do the vacation and summer camps here. Even the camps have been very good value. Priceless experiences for my daughters to build acting, dancing and singing skills and learn about working as a team to create exceptional musicals. We love the friends they have made here. They have grown closer with students they knew from their school & their cast mates. I could not image a better place to take my daughters.

Even at morning drop off, it would be strange if you didn't see someone dressed up in a funny costume to welcome your little ones and take them over the thresh hold into the magical land of Galileo (it was actually an alley with paper streamers...but the kids loved it)! Each week they would work on a theme and continue working on it, until Friday-the day the kids present all their hard work and show it off to the parents. Prepare to go to pick up on Fridays with an empty trunk. You'll definitely need all the space to take home the towers and models they've built! The staff are very professional -- not a bunch of teenagers pretending to know how to interact with kids. 3. Every morning the kids enter the camp in such a fun, positive way -- starts the day off right. 4. The kids get to do art, science/engineering, and physical activities, and they get to work on their projects the whole week, then present them on Friday. They feel very good about their projects! We had always had a great experience with them. Fabulous instructors, we had an awesome experience as well when my son leaned how to play his instrument during the pandemic.
