As he pulled in the door came down on my car and did some pretty serious damage to the roof and trunk. Their body shop was pretty backed up. They said they were 90 days out. They agreed to just buy my car outright for pretty close to retail. ( who knows what that number is in todays car market? ) Unfortunate but things happen. I was pleased with the way they handled the situation. The whole mishap was resolved in a week. I was able to replace the car with a new Lexus via a cash purchase from another dealer over the phone without the hassle of negotiating a trade. There's gas and a mainstay area that has candies, chips, sodas, etc. There is also an area in the back for seating where my father in law goes early in the mornings to drink coffee. - Good for snack junk food, fried cheese balls, Godfather's personal pizzas, warm sandwiches, and burritos. - They also have a fried chicken area where you can pick out a few pieces to make a dinner (it's in the same place as the rest of the warmed-up/fried food) - Coffee is horrendous, even for gas station coffee. Plus there is no liquid creamer option - only the powdered stuff. I have to say, I was appalled at this even knowing I was in small-town, middle-of-nowhere Iowa. I mean... these people drink a lot of coffee out here and there's no liquid creamer? Odd. Overall Sparky's is a mainstay to the people of Lake View. Obviously a lot of people rely on this place for gas and even for eating every so often.
