This Sparky's is near the US 20 interchange and is a big car/truck complex. Gas was reasonably priced, but we had to park the car over by the trucks to walk in after filling up, as the front of the store spots were taken, mostly by motor cycle folks. Inside featured a nice array of snacks, some of them "home baked or cooked". Sparky's staff were all very friendly and helpful. We bought a cookie (and other snacks) and coffee, and we were soon on our way.

When you try to use the restroom, the workers literally take the broom and stick it under your stall to sweep while you're in there trying your best to go to the bathroom in privacy. They're just sweeping your feet away. Who cares if you're changing a tampon, or trying to take a crap. I do NOT recommend! If you hold out, there's a nice little gas station just down the road.

I needed to pick up a soda and use the restroom. Great selection of soda pop and very clean restrooms. They have a very large parking lot and plenty of gas pumps. Several Kun & Go trash cans are usually filled by the late afternoons. These garbage cans were not filled and I will assume based on the traffic, they are removed regularly throughout the day. You are about an hour away from Omaha to the west and one hour away from Des Moines to the east. The location is not remote, with fast food restaurants nearby and another gas station across the street. I will remember this pit stop the next time I head east towards Des Moines if I need to rest break.
