I made my first trip to Performance today and had a great experience. I love the Oil change places that let you stay in the car. The tech who helped me, a British fellow I assume by his accent, was very thorough and went over everything before the service started. I was in and out in 15 minuets. I watched the crew in the bay next to me work and they were as professional as my crew. Highly recommend if you need new oil. read more

They went so far above the call of duty. I came in for an oil change, but hiding in my air filter was a mouse. Oh, she also had babies in a large nest! Thank you for all your help cleaning them out. While I was embarrassed, I was told this wasn't the worst. (I didn't ask). My hero's! read more

There are a bunch of these places peppered around the area, in fact, one in the same damn strip mall. I picked this one for no particular reason except it was closer to the entry and that it looked like there was room. I also liked the $21 oil change on the entrance. Of course, this is mostly BS. The real oil change is gonna cost you about $40 minimum if you have a relatively new vehicle based on the nicer oils. However, the people are really quite friendly and I didn't feel like the folks there were trying to over-sell me on things. It helps that it was the first oil change in this car - so there isn't much to do. But still, I often feel like someone is trying to pull one over on me when I get an oil change, and it didn't feel too over-the-top here. Definitely a decent place to get an oil change. They also give you a deal if you use them for several of your oil changes... I didn't much pay attention since I have recently left the Traverse area for a little while, but I think that you get $5 for each oil change and you are allowed to use it once you hit $20. If zero stars was a rating i would pick that instead. I should have stopped going to them after i witnessed them have a guy start his truck before they even put the oil back in his truck. But, now i definitely will never have them touch my vehicle ever again. Went in for an oil change, a running light and license plate light to be put in. Four days later, i find that the front running light they had installed, was not installed correctly and had fallen down resting on my fender that proceeded to burn a hole in my fender. Then, a week after my oil change, my skid plate fell down while i was driving, with only two bolts holding it on my car, and i might add were not on there tight at all. Had this happened on I75 which i had been driving on an hour before this happened, this wouldn't be a review it would be a lawsuit. Unless you want to play russian roulette with your life and your vehicle in their hands, do not ever go to this company, they clearly do not hire people that could do a job correctly read more

I was astonished by the great service I got here. They started to do the oil change as requested, but then Autumn found a broken piece in an oil filter in my Jeep. She called around to find another one, then drove across town to go get it! Way above and beyond, and I highly recommend them! read more

Called ahead to make sure they had my type of oil (I drive a diesel). They said yes, so I was there minutes later. During that HOUR of them working, they had removed the wrong filter thinking that it was my oil filter, and had put the wrong oil in my car. They reattach my "mystery" filter, put the correct oil in my car, charge me $140, tell me that I should have told them it was a diesel (I did. Also you can scan my car and clearly see that it is), and got no real apology as to what they had just done to my car. 12 hours later, a light is coming on that says "oil change/ inspection NOW". read more

I've been bringing my vehicles here for over 3 years now. From high mileage civics, jeeps and accords to brand new Subarus. The staff here is always friendly and very straight forward. Anyone with a diesel truck DO NOT GO THERE! I stupidly thought they were capable to change a fuel filter in my f450 truck that had told me to get it changed. I thought I was doing the right thing by getting it fixed before I took to the road with my trailer and 4 horses. I should have known after 5 TRIES when they couldn't get my truck started that this was a bad idea. They kept assuring me everything is fine, even after an hour. Finally got it started, started the 8 hour drive back to Ohio with my horses and guess what happened? Low fuel pressure light came on and reduced my speed to where I couldn't continue. Sat for 3 HOURS with my poor horses on the side of the road waiting for another truck to come hook up. Had to even drop my truck off at a dealership in Michigan, wait a week and find a ride alllll the way from middle Ohio to Michigan to pick it back up. All because these "professionals" don't know what the hell they are doing! read more
