Shortly after moving to Great Falls I went to 15th Street Service Station. I had a lot of work done…read moreto my truck. They were extremely kind, professional, honest and straightforward. They were great at explaining to me the issues the vehicle was having or could have, and kept me informed and involved in all decisions and updated me with any possible price changes. More recently, I was involved in an accident. I chose 15th Street as the tow company. The tow driver picked me and my truck up. I was a bit shook up. I have no family here and was having an "i want my daddy" moment and Gary was very patient. Helped me out of my vehicle, as the door was stuck shut, explained processes to me. He helped me find words when I was too shook up to find them myself. He drove me to More than one car rentals, waited for me to get a rental. he went out of his way out of the kindness of his heart and made being far from home seem not so far.

This shop's professionalism, expectation-setting, expertise, honest guidance, true pricing, timeliness and responsiveness cannot be praised enough by me. I had a diversity of vehicles that they were able to service from tires to alignment to mechanical to technology, etc. - especially troubleshooting what was wrong with my older vehicles, find parts and keep them running - and they could always fit me into their schedule no matter how busy they were, and meet the deadlines they set for pick-up appropriately. The staff was always kind, courteous, took lots of time to help you with whatever challenge you had, and always took the time to explain the issue and the choices you had to remedy the problem. I cannot recommend any vehicle mechanics and full-service fuel business in Great Falls for a service related business that is better than 15th Street Service Center. If I still lived there they would have my business for life. A special note: if you are a woman, I highly recommend this business because they are one of the mechanic shops that doesn't charge women higher prices because of their gender. If you are a woman and don't know your vehicles well, this is something many mechanic shops will often do. As a female bringing your vehicles to 15th Street Service Center, you can expect respect, honesty and the same prices as anyone else coming in. If you need repairs or anything for your auto, please consult this business. I highly recommend their services and their stellar workforce.

My first ever negative review, I'm actually sad I'm writing this but the corrupt mechanic network…read morein Great Falls is ridiculous. I had taken my 4Runner into Carnahans and told them I wanted the entire coolant system gone through and changed unless it looked like it was performing like new. Radiator, hoses, hose clips, water pump, thermostat, timing belt, flywheels, I said everything. They came back saying everything was good except the water pump and thermostat. After they did that the heater core needed changing, no problem, that's what it needs. After they do what they do they call me at 4:30 on a Friday afternoon to pick it up. I do and drive it three blocks away and park it for a few hours. As soon as I start it up it starts pouring out all the coolant so I'm stranded outside after work in the -5 degree weather with my vehicle that had just spent two weeks in the shop. Called Monday morning at 8 and they said they can't get me in but if they get a cancellation they'll give me a call. This company clearly did not want my business. They were not willing to fix the issues their work caused. Will update if/when I hear from them.

Customer Service - F…read more Mechanic Work - D Scheduling/Keeping Appointments - F Value - F Had an oil change done here, was told that my driveshaft and trackbar were bad and needed replacement. I was also told that my front crankcase seal was leaking. They did not tell me about the oil pan gasket leaking which was very obvious the second you lift the truck, i found out later after getting under the truck that it was leaking. They also did not tell me that my power steering pump was going out which was pretty obvious when turning the wheel from the sounds it was making. I contacted them to get the trackbar and driveshaft replaced. Was told to come in on friday to get the work done, dropped the truck off at 8am Friday morning the girl in the front assurred me no worries it will get done by the end of the day. Got a ride from a friend back to work. I called later on during the day about 1pm to get a status update on the truck only to be told by the same girl "oh they haven't started on your truck, but dont worry again it will get done by the end of the day". I then called back at 4pm, one hour before closing to ask how late i could pickup my truck, same girl advised me "oh we are so sorry, we were not able to get to your truck, you can pick it up any time even after 5, and by the time you come we will have a better date for you next week. Not going to lie i was already pretty agitated by being lied to and the multiple empty reassurances. So I showed up to pickup my truck and the lady still did not know what day to tell me to comeback. She glanced at the schedule quickly and said ok come back Tuesday at 8am. I then grab my keys said have a good weekend and went on my way. Monday afternoon came around, I called Hughs to confirm my appointment for tomorrow morning 8am. The same girl responded "yeah yeah yeah, tomorrow 8am we got you, see you tomorrow morning" Tuesday morning 8am comes around. The gate is closed but the mechanics are inside. There is an impatient customer already outside complaining to me about having an 8am appointment, having driven 4 hours from NW Montana because his insurance told him to take it to Hughs. He tells me the mechanics are inside and they dont want to open the gate and hes been waiting. Ironically at the same time we are talking, a parts truck showed up from a local parts shop and entered the back door of the shop to drop of parts. The impatient customer then begins knocking on the windows and doors trying to get someone outside to open up shop, 20+ minutes go by and a mechanic comes outside and yells at the customer "WHAT DO YOU WANT!" Customer begins telling him that he drove from far, has an 8 am appointment and has his wife and kids in the car and needs to go to another appointment. The mechanic blatently tells the customer to "f*** off, because he is being an asshole" Seeing how Hughs treated this customer infront of me, and seeing how they lied to me again and ignored me standing infront of their shop at 8am has left a horrible impression on me. I do not recommend this shop and recommend you find a more reputable shop that actually keeps their appointments, does not treat their customers like crap and point out the obvious mechanic isssues not just some.
