I don't even know where to start. We ordered a rebuilt engine from Performance Diesel LLC and they were coming from UT to WI to install it themselves. After some spotty communication (and a long delay) they actually did show up and replace the engine in our 2017 Cummins. We are currently having that looked at by a reputable diesel mechanic because we just don't trust the work, the engine or this company. Our transmission went out literally 2 miles after having the engine rebuilt and Jeremy, the "owner", assured us he'd get us out of a bind and send us a rebuilt tranny. (for $4000) When we received it the transmission had to be gone through as our mechanic would not put it in after seeing some metal shavings and the obvious burnt smell and look to the tranny. This took some time as our mechanic was months out (a very common problem good mechanics are having because they are so busy and parts are hard to come by these days). Of course this put us out of our 30 day money back guarantee. We ended up ordering a brand new transmission and having that put in because we just cannot afford to put in another shoddy part from Performance Diesel LLC. 1 star is just too much for this hack of a business. My 5.9 Cummins was failing. From my research I wanted to go with with a small business who specializes in the Cummins engines in particular 5.9s. Jeremy answered all my questions and recommended replacement items to provide a well built long lasting engine. I travel quite a bit for my work. Jeremy worked with my schedule sent photos of the build up, and hand delivered the engine on a day that worked around my travel. The personal touch that this small business provides is beyond amazing. Not only does he and his staff build the engines, he delivers them as well ensuring satisfaction and that I removed all the parts I needed from my old engine to place on the new engine. I asked about rockers, and he installed, adjusted and added them to my build. First let me state I had to rate a 1 star to be able to leave a review... I ordered a $4500.00 long block on 6/6/20 was due to be delivered on 6/10/20. Still have not received our order nor will he answer and can't even get him to pay us our money back.. I had to report it to the Fraud Department of my credit card company. I bought a rebuild long block from Performance Diesel and the price point was perfect. It arrived timely, a week or so behind ETA, but businesses have a tough time getting parts, and I also didn't think that my wait time was bad. It arrived exactly as I had ordered and my mechanics had little issues getting it swapped with my old one. The only reason I give four stars is that communication was at times little and I got frustrated. So far I am happy with how it runs. read more

My husband and I were victims of his con artist work for a transmission that he sent us that was not rebuilt!! STAY AWAY. I have purchased at least five engines from Performance Diesel over the last five years. He's always come through and the motors have all lasted. Prices have been great as well. Wait times have lagged on occasion but overall he's taken care of me and I have been happy with the builds. read more

These guys are top notch. I had a complete 5.9 Cummins motor swap done. They were done faster than they said they would be. The motor purrs. Great warranty. Very straight forward and up front about everything being done or needed. I even come back for things like oil changes. read more

Got the injectors done on my lb7 Duramax. Reasonable rates! Got it done fast. I recommend taking your Duramax to these guys.
