I've been a working fabricator for 30 years. My experience with NM Metals LLC at first was good but…read morenow I cannot in good conscience recommend this company at all. They lack the ability to make cuts to a specified size. I ordered 90 pieces of 16 gauge 3/4" square tubing at 52" that they charge me over $250 for. There was no consistency in the cuts. That varied 1/2", some less than 52" and some more that 52". Additionally they sold me a thicker material than I wanted. They lack customer service and made no effort to correct my order. They hung up on me. Now I have to recut every piece of metal. I've lost time and money. I will never use them again.

However, not only to I want…read moreto say that I love the hand rails that Barnett Aldon manufactured for my house, when I brought a photo of a finish defect on the handrails, the immediate response was, "Let's see when we can pick them up for refinishing." I've used other iron works in the past and tried to get 6 different bids before contracting these rails with Barnett Aldon, but only two people even came out to bid the job and I didn't even hear from the other 4. Barnett Aldon had the better price by far and clearly stood behind their quality. I won't be reaching out to anyone else in the future.

I took three months and then was told by the owner that this is art. After talking to the owner and letting him know that I could get those parts for 150 he adjusted the price to $550. If I was willing to pay cash I could do away with the 4% card fee. Not the feeling I want when dealing with a small local company who supports veterans RIGHT!!! I will not bad mouth any company I just won't use or recommend them to anybody I know or hear of that needs a fabricator.
