They do excellent work but they are very expressive. The speaker in the driver's side door of my pickup stopped working. Ít to 30 whole minutes to repair. It was a broken wire. I paid $150.00 for labor. Total bill was $186.74. I was going to upgrade my system but!!!!!!! read more

I had some old equipment (amps, subs, box, wiring) that I removed from my old car and wanted installed in my other car. Everyone else I spoke to said they don't reuse wiring. The service was good. The sales rep recommend changing the box for my subs which does sound a lot better now. My only complaint is that they cut out a huge area of padding to make room for the amps behind my back seat so now when I drive down the road, the road noise is almost like having a window cracked or the back door isn't closed all the way and the screws they used on the amp almost went through to my bed. If it were possible I would give this place less than one star. Got a stereo and speakers installed in my wife's jeep. After moving out of state the stereo stopped working. Came back and they said nothing they could do. What!? Now I find a rattle in the jeep, take a look at the speakers.... they are falling out!!! Yeah!!! They put drywall screws to screw them into the plastic!!! Barely holding on!!! Tore the plastic in a couple of spots. So if you are looking for quality work, go somewhere else!!!! Here is my letter to them.I gave one star because i couldn't give less. I have little doubt that you even care but I am entirely too displeased with your service not to say something. I recently purchased a brand new vehicle and brought it into your shop to upgrade my stereo. I spent an hour with the sales guy and asked every question under the sun and placed an order for everything needed to make the stereo do what I wanted. Called the day before I was coming for install to ensure all parts were in and told they were. Friday morning I was there waiting for the doors to open. was told 1.5 to 2 hours max. 4 hours later I am told that the antenna adapter was not there and I would have to come back. As i sat in the parking lot after paying $50 more than initially agreed i could not get features to work with my phone. Was told I needed a special $80 cable to make that work. ( i asked about this when i priced the system and was told all it needed was USB) The owner agreed to buy the cable and i would have to come back in a week for the antenna anyway.Was also unhappy about the way all the wires are hangin out of my dash and the factory usb port was no longer working. Installer told me which part i needed to make it function and i purchased those parts on my own while waiting for the other parts to come in. Unhappy but it is what it is. Another $30 worth of parts and a call the day before, my parts are in . Came in early again and about 30 mins later he brings my truck out. antenna installed. new iphone cable installed. both of these new parts he told me to get laying in the passenger seat. told me they wouldn't work. my dash looks like a bear tried to dig through it. i don't even have 3000 miles on my truck and it looks like crap. my satellite radio is intermittently cutting in and out and i would rather pay someone else than turn the bear loose in my new truck again. the initial install day everyone was courteous and tryin to make it right but my 2nd trip i felt like i was a pain in there ass just for showing up. it amazes me to think that a business in operation for that long doesn't do better than that. I payed $800 for a stereo system to be professionally installed and this is what i got. If i wanted a job done half -assed i could have done it myself and got the parts cheaper too.I always try and use a locally owned business over the retail giants for my needs. There really isn't anything you can do at this point for me but if you intend on staying in business, you might wanna make some changes about how you do it. read more

THEY BREAk YOUR THINGS AND SAY THEY DIDNT! They kiss your ass until you pay them then you are dirt!!! These guys did nothing I asked. They over charged me ...how do you spend 500$ on an install, when you come with all the equipment? On my drive home, down interstate 10 during rush hour, I notice my hood flapping and rattling at 65 mph... we all know how this could end! Major damage to mby truck or a car accident that could of really hurt someone! This is awful! I pulled off the road irritated because obviously the tech didn't shut my hood properly. I unhooked the latch to lift the hood and shut it all the way; however, before I start to slam it down i notice something! A plastic cover was not re-placed properly. This cover goes over some wiring that is now out in the open, so I pulled it off the top of my engine and shut my hood. Guess what??? I SHUT IT PROPERLY!! It sure is a lot easier to shut a hood on a truck ,when nothing is in the way of it shutting ...like a plastic cover !!!! I didn't want to be on the side of the road any longer it's dangerous!!! The truck is lifted so high I couldn't reach where it goes in properly anyway.I stop off at a friend of mine's so he can put the cover back on.He looked at the cover and the metal base around the wiring noticing that the clips were broke! Wonder how that could've happened?!?! Oh wait I know !! The jack as* that ran the wires to the battery moved it so he could run them under it and didn't put it back. He left it sitting on the engine... so it's pretty obvious when he slammed the hood down it was in the way, Preventing the hood from latching properly. The heavy hood coming down on the plastic piece sitting on top of the engine was broken by the force of it being slammed down ,WOW!! Rocket science !!! Something double checking your work could of prevented !According to Jason , store manager, (lol) they didn't break it but he'll replace it anyways. This guy is really talented, he found out that they didn't break the part and he didn't even go outside to look at anything!! Didn't ask me or speak to me about anything! He just walked into the room and look at the part for a few seconds. He must really know his stuff!! LOL YEAH RIGHT! I told him no, you guys did break it. He looked at me like I hurt his feelings and said "don't push it " his attitude and his tone completely shocked me. This place is a sh*t show. I spend $500 here the day before, they left my damn hood open, broke a part on my truck and treated me like crap. This whole thing is just ridiculous, the part for my truck probably isn't more than $20 I didn't ask for a refund I just want them to fix what they broke! They did offer to fix it by rigging some shi* together and screwing holes into the broken part.. lmao seriously?? HELL NO. If you break it you fix it !!! Somethings wrong with this please do not go there if you have any issues with the install or if they just simply cause damage to your car your screwed. They have no interest in helping you if they have to admit they screwed up. Avoid this place like the plague! Im planning to write the BBB. read more

I went to Performance Car Audio a little over a year ago. At the time I had new subs, box, and amp installed. They did a decent job. Before I left the place they talked into buying a Stinger Power2 battery which sounded like a good deal at that time. They seemed to stock these and stated if there was ever any issues they had a great warranty. I had them install the new battery which replaced my old car battery and they had to reconfigure the wiring to hook up to the new battery. Fast forward until last week when the battery quit working. I finally drove the 1 1/2 hours back to there establishment today after speaking with them on the phone. It sounded like it would be no big deal to exchange for the warranty. Well I showed up and was informed they would replace the battery after testing it but, it would not be available until mid next week. In the meantime I am out of a vehicle unless I choose to buy a new battery somewhere else but, unfortunately that would be yet another few hundred dollars. Point is you shouldn't talk customers into buying something you don't stock without informing them of that fact and then act like it is no big deal to have them wait a week or so to receive a new one. Especially when it effects being able to drive their vehicle. Out of all this the biggest disappointment there wasn't an apology or even a care because not their car to worry about I guess. At the end of the day I will get a new battery they assured me but, still not a way to treat customers that spend over a thousand dollars in your store and could've continued to be a repeat customer. after spending $1,850.00 and given a written warranty,had problems with sound coming out of the sub-wofer,went back to the store after waiting 2 hours and not one person saying one word to ,me,as other customers came and went,i walked outside to the rear of shop my truck the only one in the shop not one person in sight!after 4+ hours left the shop with the same problems,rude little dude's working (if that is what you could call it)at least seven people at the shop.spoke with the owner bryan,and got negative attitude fro him as well! guess it time for small claims ! customer service is not in their vocabulary ! read more
