We we were heartbroken and wanted to at least send them something since we couldn't come to the hospital to meet our grandson- by the time I felt up to calling it was 12:30pm on Friday afternoon & the delivery driver was already out for the day. I gave them a picture of a bouquet I loved, and they did everything possible to make the exact replicate. They planned to provide a moss bed free of charge for my escort table, but little did I know they styled the whole table, and brought a few extra pieces to include. It turned out more beautiful that I could have imagined! The whole reception was extremely beautiful because of their touch and attention to detail. They brought our vision to a reality. When I spoke to the manager he tried to place blame on the whole seller about the price and offered no reason why I paid $8 for a $2 flower and was extremely rude throughout the call. That's a 301% mark up and a roughly 76% gross margin. Pathetic. In today's economy as a consumer we are seeing these inflated prices on EVERYTHING but nothing like this. If you value your dollar STAY AWAY!! Safe Way around the corner have the corner have the same hydrangeas, better looking and much cheeper around $2.60 per stem. They took the money from my credit card and won't refund it, saying they're having problems with their supplier and I have to talk to the supplier. The supplier, Teleflora, doesn't even have an order from me or know my name. I'm no part of their politics, and now I'm out $75 and a flower arrangement I needed delivered by the day after tomorrow. Worse still, the guy at Devers treated me like all this was somehow my fault. Edited: Added a star after talking with them for a third (or was it a fourth) time. Ed has agreed to deliver the original arrangement as ordered and honor the price on the website. We'll wait and see how well my gift looks when it arrives. I will say that I appreciate his efforts to make this work for all concerned, but the whole transaction has left a sour taste at this point.
