Decided to give this restaurant a visit, am I glad I did. when I arrived, it was very busy because…read moreof the concert at the amphitheater I was able to find a bar seat and started a conversation with the bartender Brandon who was excellent. There's so many choices on the menu I wanted to try, but I went with the lamb chops, scallops, broccolini, and then finished it off with the pistachio cheesecake and a cappuccino. I legitimately don't have a complaint about anything, if you're in the area and looking for fine dining. This is the place to go. The owner came over and we had a conversation very nice man thanks, Wesley

I found this restaurant on a whim after looking up new American restaurants. This spot came up and…read morea quick scan of their menu got me hooked. We came for a late dinner on a weekend, and they were able to squeeze us in. We went pretty heavy on the appetizers and got some entrees to share. The most note-worthy dishes were: - Jerk Grilled Octopus: it was grilled PERFECTLY. When I first took a bite it you get a lot of jerk seasoning, then it's a slow burn of spice. It also came with a pineapple salsa that brought in some sweetness and acidity. 10/10 - would come back just for this. - Shrimp and Grits: to be quite honest, I only ordered this bc my kids like shrimp. But omg I was not prepared for those grits. They were hands down the best I've had. - Scallops and risotto: scallops were cooked perfectly. And usually not a fan of risotto, but these were pretty decent! Some dishes that can be improved: - Halibut was cooked nicely, but nothing crazy. Lacked a bit of seasoning, and tasted a bit bland. - Oysters: also bland? Lacked brininess and sweetness. - Apple tart and ice cream: Apple tart crust was more something you can handhold and bite into bc it was crunchy and thick like a cookie. Trying to cut into it felt like I was gonna break the plate. Still delicious tho! Service was superb, the host didn't get a chance to chat with us during the meal but made it a point to catch us before we left. Chef also came out to ask how everything was. Loved those little moments that make diners feel appreciated and welcomed like family.

It's best to come solo or with a small group of up to 5 people. I would call in advance for a group of more than 2 people if possible. There are two floors of seating, making arrangements a bit more flexible and comfortable.

The bi-level bar and lounge was dark, swanky, and seductive. It would make an excellent spot for dates or groups of friends, like mine. We started off sitting at the bar, as there were no large tables available upon our arrival. However, after about 15 minutes, the host approached to tell us that he could actually seat us. I picked up my glass, which was wet with condensation, and it slipped out of my hands. I was able to collect it with only a minor spill, but the host insisted that the bar staff make me a new cocktail in case the glass had chipped at all. It was a considerate gesture that I greatly appreciated. Plus, since I had already taken a few sips, I was thrilled to get those back in a new glass! In terms of my cocktail of choice, I had opted for the Hot Tijuana Tease, a fiery blend of mezcal, blanco tequila, chile poblano liqueur, and lime juice. So, it was essentially a spicy margarita, and it was excellent. There were clean, crisp notes of peppery heat balanced with layers of robust smoke. My only complaint about the lounge was that the bathrooms were beyond tiny. There were two unisex stalls in a very tight alcove that also included a cramped sink counter. It was awkward and uncomfortable to share that space with another patron. Aside from that, the Hide Rooftop was a beautiful place with a friendly staff and interesting drinks.

The show was short but a lot of fun! The Grinch played the character perfectly and interacted with the crowd. Drinks and bites are optional. I got the sugar cookie shots they were okay. I also got the Grinch has a heart because I'm a tequila girl but I wasn't a fan of this one. The sliders however were great.

Alibi is currently running a Harry Potter pop up, and if you know anything about me, you will know I am a HUGE fan. The Alibi was decorated beautifully and there were two really cute Photo Ops by "Platform 9 3/4" and the Wand Shop. Come here for the drinks! The Hufflepuff was bourbon forward and reminded me of an Old Fashioned which further confirmed that is truly my house. It also came with an edible golden snitch. The server pointed it out before I gave them what I thought to be decor. I popped the chocolate golden snitch in my mouth after being directed to take the wrapping off first. We then did butterbeer shots and I can't even begin to tell you how delish they were...dangerously delicious. Food was had and it wasn't anything to write about but I'll try. Queso dip is made in house, which I respect. Loaded potato wontons were a great idea and were probably the best things on the table. You can't go wrong with pretzel nuggets. Chocolate cake is never a bad idea. I ended my visit with a chocolate frog drink. Very similar to an espresso martini. You know how hot they are right now. It came with a an actual chocolate frog which was nice. Finally one of the staff members came over to help us play Bertie Botts and we all picked a jellybean. I got lemon. Some of us got soap and warwax. So fun! It was so good, we are going to try to snag another rez for trivia. Reservations are for 90 minute seatings. You pay $15 for a ticket but you get a souvenir cup with your ticket. Not mad about this because the cup is actually decent and will be used. Their next pop up will be "Slime Time". Slime is not my thing but maybe you'll see me at the other pop ups.
