Once I entered, she did a temperature check and I signed a form basically agreeing that I did not have COVID-19 nor have I traveled/ been in contact with someone who has. I opted to have by brows threaded (with minor tweezing). After that, she used the benefit brow mascara and pencil to fill in- and voila. I also ended up purchasing the brow mascara to take home, and was given two complimentary samples of the brow pencil. All in all, it was a very pleasant experience and I will be going back to this boutique (and perhaps trying out other services here!).

Location: Not very convenient and I don't think they have parking other than by the road. I took the subway to Lawrence station and walked about 10-15 mins to get to the place. My other option was to take a bus but I didn't want to wait. Wait time: You can book an appointment on their website and they'll send you a SMS confirming the appointment. When I went, there was no line up. I had an appointment and I waited 2 minutes (because the lady had to finish threading a client). Service: 2.5/5 There was as little service as humanly possible. When I walked in, the receptionist was on the phone and she told me to fill out a clipboard with my info. She didn't exactly tell me, she gave me a clipboard. After this, I was told to change from my shoes to their slippers. Note: these slippers didn't look clean. It looked like it hasn't been cleaned for days. It felt kind of nasty wearing their slippers. While being threaded, the lady went through the whole area but it felt rushed. After the redness went away and I waited two days, I noticed hair that wasn't threaded off. I wish they were more thorough. On the plus side, the receptionist and threading lady weren't deliberately rude but felt very distant. You know how some people make you feel warm and welcomed. Well I didn't feel welcomed there. Threading job: 2.5/5 It felt like she took a lot of hair off my upper lip but she missed some. The amount of hair she missed were not an area but here and there. So I felt like the threading job a bit sloppy. Cleanliness: 1/5 When I walked into the place, I smelled BO (but I do have a good sense of smell). When the lady started threading me, she didn't sanitize her hands. Also, before she started threading me, another lady handed her money. So imagine for a second-the germs in money, threading lady touches money, she doesn't clean her hands after and she starts threading you. Just think how unsanitary that is. The reason I didn't give cleanliness 0/5 is because the place looked clean (i.e. no clutter). That's why I give them 1/5. Prices: Very reasonable. Please see pic for prices. Remember to take your shoes off and wear slippers when you are inside! Once they set you up with a consultant, you get to decide the style of your lashes. This includes length, thickness, curl and design. They will guide you through what looks best on you dont worry! Eyelash extensions are done in a room with about 5 or so beds with curtains in between. You can hear the conversations around you... Or the snoring from whoever had fallen asleep. Lol and yes I guarantee that you will fall asleep. All the technicians have been very gentle in the applications I've had. They had signs up that they will increasing their prices soon, not sure if that is in effect but I think for thr service that you get and the quality of the lashes its pretty much worth it. TL;DR Great place. Great customer service. You pick the style of your lashes.

The system of letters for lashes is a bit confusing as most places may refer to wispy/volume/etc. so I definitely had to do a bit more research. It was nice to have some photos for reference. Celina guided me through the process really well and I loved how thorough the questionnaire was. It asks for your purpose and how recent you had your lashes done etc. She did an amazing job and my lashes lasted so much longer than I expected! When I went for a return visit, she had pulled up my previous data and asked if I'd like the same style which I really liked the ease of pulling up my profile. The price isn't too bad. It's average and expected. It's nice if you have a points card and bonus if you pay cash.

Heidi did an amazing job with my lip blush. The overall process took about 3 hours. This includes…read moreboth the in depth consultation and the actual lip blushing. Heidi made sure to explain the process fully and carefully created the colour that I was looking to achieve. To help her with the colour I had in mind, I brought the lip tint that I normally used. She then crafted the colour with her pigments and ensured that I was happy with the colour prior to applying it. Keeping in mind that everyone's pain tolerance level is different, I did not feel uncomfortable or in pain during the actual process (numbing cream was used before the process begun). Heidi made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire lip blushing process. Upon completion, she thoroughly explained the healing and aftercare process. Again, keeping in mind that everyone's skin will react differently, my lips were pretty swollen after. However, as advised by Heidi, the swelling subsided after 2 days and the whole healing process took about 6 days for all the scabs to come off. Thank you Heidi for doing such a wonderful job!

While browsing places to get microblading done for my mom, I came across Oh My Lash and Brow on Yelp. What stood out the most, were the before and after pictures of Heidi's previous clientele. Add in the $250 for $450 voucher and the relative close distance to my house, and I was sold. Next, it was easy calling in and making an appointment for the next day; and Heidi gave useful directions over the phone, for getting to her unit number within the plaza - she is located on the second floor; & once you get up the stairs, there are large signs above each door in the hallway letting you know of which business is which. The overall process took about 3 hours, with the majority of the time being spent on the pre-procedure tasks including: initial information session on microblading, consultation, and sketching of the eyebrows. My mother is a very picky woman so they had to be perfect before we could move on haha - I appreciate Heidi's patience. The actual procedure took anywhere from 30-60 minutes and a lot of numbing agent is applied to the area before and during the procedure to eliminate any pain sensations. Heidi also continually checked in with my mom asking her if she was ok and/or feeling any pain. Another great point to mention was Heidi's obvious knowledge and experience performing this procedure. She gave us plenty of information in the beginning regarding risks, signs of infection to look for following the procedure, and she was sure to explain the sterility of the microblading tools she would be using. [Cool to note that she even staples the freshly opened package to each client's consult form.] With my mom and I both being nurses, we were very happy to see that detail and attention were put into the health safety of the procedure, which involves needles and the breakage of skin, therefore carrying a high potential of transmission of infections. Overall, my mom and I were very happy with the results, the entire process and this wonderful microblading experience with Heidi. She gifted us with another voucher to help spread the word and I will definitely be sure to pass it to a friend. It is well worth the time and money spent!
