The three installation guys (Michael, Jamie and Darrell) were great! They cleaned the work area and left and everything nicer than it was before the work began. I was really impressed with the quality of their work and the professionalism of the guys installing the system (and they are very likeable personable guys too!) I had 3 other quotes from other companies. Like one review here said, H&I weren't the lowest quote and they weren't the highest quote I received, they were right about in the middle. In the end, I went with them because: 1. I already do business with them for my oil delivery so I already know they are super nice and helpful. 2. They didn't have a pushy salesman that pushed me to close the deal the same day as the quote like another company I had give me a quote did. 3. They were honest (at least I believe they were haha). There was another sales guy from another company that told me BS and I knew it was BS when he told me because in my research I found things that contradicted what he told me (and other techs I spoke to said he was incorrect.). I felt like all the other companies wanted was to close the deal. 4. Whitney and Wyane were there to answer all my questions and believe me, I had a lot. Whitney was extremely responsive to every one of my emails. 5. Overall I just felt more confident in them than the other companies that came to give me a quote. I felt the other companies with salesmen just wanted to close the deal and would tell you whatever just to close it. 6. I liked when they gave me a quote it was one of their techs that took all the information, again, not a salesman. I never felt any pressure with them as I felt with other companies that gave me a quote. 7. They are just really nice to deal with. Overall I am extremely happy we decided to go with Hart and Iliff over the other companies! The AC part of the system has been working great! It's a great improvement over my old AC. I'm looking forward to seeing how the system performs in the winter, especially with the heat pump.

After waiting several hours without any communication, I followed up and was asked to reschedule for the following Monday between 10 AM-2 PM. I agreed, assuming delays were due to a busy schedule. On Monday, I again waited without receiving a call or visit. At 2:15 PM, I contacted dispatch and was told a technician would reach out shortly. As of the following day, I had still not received any communication or service. This experience involved two missed appointments and required multiple schedule adjustments on my end. Based on this, I DO NOT recommend this company for any services.

The blower motor stopped working on our HVAC System on February 20th of this year. Their techs came out and told us that our system is old, over 20 years old, and it would be very difficult to find a motor if at all. They then proceeded to quote us a new system replacement which they could install in 3 days. We asked them to order a new motor instead and placed a 400.00 deposit. They quoted us 2500.00 to replace the motor. This past winter was one of the coldest winters we have had with weeks of near 0 degrees. We had no heat except for space heaters. We received no updates from Poust in between our calls requesting status. We finally received a call 6 weeks later that the part was finally in. We had no heat for 6 weeks which they had no care about. We called a different company at week 5 and they were able to get a motor and install in 3 days. It is now July and so far no issues. Also for half the price. I don't understand how they could treat a customer in such a manner. Because we decided to not install a 20,000 HVAC system? No checking in, nothing. A shame, and they kept my 400.00 deposit. The least they could have done is return it after such a fiasco. Awful.

His workers that he claimed graduated from HVAC training school, did not know what they were doing. Charlie was not much better. He advertises himself as a licensed expert HVAC installer, but he did not know how to wire the Bosch system. He claimed it was a new model, and he had not installed it before. After we had no heat in the sub-freezing winter temperatures, he had to call the company for step-by-step instructions. The noise level of this system is unbearable and sounds like a wind tunnel. We have to increase the volume on the TV when the heat kicks on. In October he promised to install a noise reduction system in the attic (at my expense). It is now June and I am still waiting even though I have asked him numerous times when he is coming. He says we live too far away. Well, he shouldn't have taken the job if it was too far to travel to our property. The service has been terrible. At this point he will not even return my texts and calls to schedule the spring maintenance which was included in the price. Needless to say, I do not recommend this company for any HVAC work. Months later I found out he closed the business and moved out of state! How do these people sleep at night?
