Perfected Innovations has perfected the craft of ripping people off! Unprofessional and did not deliver what was promised. Overcharged and took advantage of a senior citizen that did not know better. Full on Bait & Switch! At the end of the installation I knew something was wrong when they told me the final price was nearly $1,000 to simply mount two TV's. They did not explain any extra charges "upfront" and I never authorized them to do extra work nor agree to pay extra. Only at the end, they convinced me that they had do all this extra work, so I reluctantly paid them. I contacted a property inspector (not a competitor) to come to evaluate their work and confirm my suspicions. Here is what happened; Perfected Innovations did not arrive prepared. They had to go to Home Depot for screws and then charged an extra $85 for the screws and stud backing even though I purchased a bundled "all-inclusive" package. The stud backing was not installed as claimed, but charged for. They also told me there was a structural steel column behind the wall where I wanted the TV mounted and they could not drill into the wall. Instead they said they would need to install an articulating arm mount that I did not even want or agree to pay extra for. Found out there is no structural column behind the wall exactly where I wanted the TV to be mounted in the first place and now have cables running across the floor to the TV which is installed in the corner of the room making it difficult to view from my bed which is in the center of the room. The builder of the condo has the original cable outlet in the center of the room exactly where the TV is supposed to be installed. I contacted them to come back and run the cable behind the wall (which again is supposed to be included in the package price) and they said it would cost another $280 to do this. I also contacted them to address all of my concerns stated here and they completely blew me off. Here is a summary of extra charges that were supposed to be included in the package: $180 extra for the articulating arm mount. $85 for screws and backing. $38 for an HDMI wall mount, again this was supposed to be all inclusive with the package I purchased and not an extra. $40 in extra labor fees Overcharged sales tax by 1% and ALSO charged sales tax on labor. Bottom line, they charged nearly $1,000 to install just TWO flat screen TV's (one 40" and one 48") with poor workmanship and exposed cables running across the floor. See photos! Avoid at all costs!!! Use a professional company and not fall for their all-inclusive packages and "extra" bogus charges. Also reporting them to the State Board of Equalization for tax fraud & the BBB. __________________________________________ Reply to your ridiculous rebuttable: This not a case of a "bad apple". This is a review from a legitimate customer with a valid complaint. I am a small business owner as well and would not treat a customer like this. If you had simply replied and addressed my concerns, none of this would be happening right now. Ignoring a customer and instead just replying with lies to a valid Yelp review from a real customer is absolutely terrible customer service. This is not the way to run a business. Your rebuttal is comical and shows how bad your customer service truly is. Photoshop, really?!?! I don't even know hot to use Photoshop and what would be the point? I just posted another photo showing both the TV and the cable box and wires which you claim I removed. Why would I slander a company? What do I have to gain? I am not a competitor; I am a customer posting a valid review. If I were abusing the chargeback system, I would have initiated a chargeback for the ENTIRE amount. When you IGNORE customers, Yelp and disputing a bill are a LAST RESORT. Wake up!!! You're missing the point! An articulating mount was NEVER requested or ordered!!! The agreement was to simply hang 2 TV's with your flat screen installation package, NOT have an articulating mount hung in the corner of the room off to the right where I have to turn my neck to watch TV and it looks like a hospital room. You lied about not being able to hang the TV in the PROPER location, which is directly in front of the bed, in order to charge more, take advantage and upsell to me. The TV can absolutely be mounted right where it is supposed to be (directly in front of the bed, not in the corner) with no exposed wires. You padded the invoice with extra charges that were totally unnecessary so that you could make more money. Now you want an additional $280 on top of the nearly $1,000 paid to come and hide the wires, which was supposed to be part of the package in the first place. Your customer service or lack thereof is absolutely atrocious. You were nice before you got the money...but then afterward, you blew me off hoping I would just go away. Just TERRIBLE!!! read more

I purchased a new home in Dec2019. I wanted to install a sound solution in the house where I could have speakers at various locations inside and outside my home that could be individually controlled to each play unique music or sound selections, all play the same selection or any combination of unique or same depending on speaker selection. The control of sound solution needed to allow me to control speaker selection, audio source and sound level anywhere inside or outside (in the yard) of the house. Finally I wanted an expandable solution so that in the future I could add additional speakers in other areas of the home or yard. I contacted Perfected Innovations and had them come out to discuss what I had in mind. They spent quite a bit of time with me going over what my immediate goal was with the sound solution. What I really liked is that they also took the time with me to discuss what I might want to do in the future as well as if I wanted to integrate some existing theater room a/v or great room a/v into the solution. Once we worked through what I wanted and any potential future expansion they did a complete house walk through to identify best locations for equipment, how wires could be run, existing networking, etc. When they left from that initial meeting I felt that they had listened to and thoroughly understood what I wanted as well as understood the existing house a/v and networking infrastructure. They quickly came back with a solution for me that covered everything I wanted in the initial phase. We put satellite speakers around the pool, in ceiling speaker on the patio and 3 sets of speakers in various rooms of the house. Speakers are controlled by individual amps that integrate into an app that runs over my house internet and is controlled by my phone. They were able to also integrate my home theater and great room TV into the app. I can select any zone to play any source or group them together to play the same source. It is awesome! They did a great job. I have now had them add an outdoor TV and integrate that into the system where I can play the sound through the patio speakers (or any other speakers on the system). I also had them provide a single remote control system for my great room tv/stereo/blu ray player. And currently I am upgrading my theater room speakers with them. These guys know what is available on the market, understand how it works and how they can make it for me. I could not be happier with them. read more

Chris began with a free assessment of my home theater space, making recommendations for projector, amp, screen,speakers & Home Automation System. He then set up a time when I could see a working model of a similar set-up. Chris then provided an estimate of the project . We made some adjustments to the budget along the way (upgrading the amp, using shelving instead of a rack, using a new remote vs my old remote). Before the installation, a walk-thru of the space was done with Chris's wiring guy. Decisions were made about where the speakers would be placed and how the wiring would be run behind the walls. During the install, chris worked closely with another contractor I had removing popcorn from the ceiling and painting the walls and ceiling. In this way, chris and his crew was able to cut holes for running the wiring and the painter was able to patch and paint the space immediately afterwards. The actual installation was about a 19 hour job including installation, wiring, and optimization of projector,automation programming and speakers. I am extremely satisfied with the finished product. The Sony 4K projector, Sony amp, and Sonance speakers With a SAVANT controller. Which were competitively priced while looking and sounding great. I felt that Chris was very reasonable when it came to pricing the labor as well. Chris also stands behind his work, When I had an issue with the projector a week after the install. Chris picked up a new replacement and installed it the next day. If it had been someone else, I might have been waiting days for a repair or replacement. Now my family is having a great time watching movies and playing games. I had a great experience working with chris and I recommend and his team him without hesitation. read more

So My Family decided to open a new business during the pandemic....what a challenge. Opening a new business can be quite daunting, especially when you, as the business owner, are in search of good quality service providers.Unfortunately we received some terrible service from a couple of different vendors along the way before coming across Perfected Innovations. Brandon & His Team has to be one of the most humble, hard-working, patient, reputable, consistent, knowledgeable, efficient, punctual, due diligence, and most important of all--HONEST providers. I have ever come across in nearly 30 years of doing business. I believe Going above and beyond is simply part of their routine. Everything from start to finish was stated to me on our first meeting was EXACTLY what they delivered, and more. Our stores new 24 camera system was installed flawlessly,and we love the secuirty more then expected. Brandon was such a gentleman that he even repaired and replaced a completely botched job that was not even properly completed by the last company, at no extra charge. I look forward to the opportunity needing their services again for our next location. I only truly hope this review will help them in their future endeavors of business. So Last Year completely gutted our home and remodeled, from the beginning, the entire house was torn down to the studs. We started out with another local AV company that was a disaster. Then we met Chris and his team and our life became organized and easy. Chris and his team are very knowledgeable, professional, yet friendly, and RELIABLE. They hooked up our entire home/Equipment. Now we have sound throughout the entire house & Backyard (inside/outside), internet- Wifi that actually works throughout the house and backyard, an automated front doorbell system (it's a life saver), our shades are automated, security system with cameras and even our heating/air conditioning. We can use our Savant system from our iPhones, iPads from anywhere in our home or even away from home. Now we can see what our Kids are up to, (or Pool Guy), when we are not home. One of most loved traits, was that if something was being difficulty, they would not sit here eating up time (and money) to figure it out. They would go back to their office and research, figure out a solution and come back and make it happen. Our first AV person gouged us with equipment pricing, Perfected is upfront about all pricing and do not look to add cost to equipment. I can not say enough about them. For Christmas my mother decided to pick up a 43 inch samsung smart tv. The first thing we tried doin with it is mounting it ourselves which proved to be more bite then we could chew because apparently a fireplace mount is trickier then a regular mount. I called P innovations and was greeted by a very friendly and helpful receptionist who listened to my concerns carefully which was greatly appreciated. The service man the came out whose name was Chris was very kind and helpful. He listened to all my concerns and did the best he could to work with me and got the job done in a reasonable amount of time. Great work done by some great people. Only reason for not giving 5 stars is that our total came out to $354.00. So while we paid $399 for a new tv we ended up paying double in the end. I'm sure that's how that goes for the cost of labor but if there is a way to bring the cost down it would make the value more sound. read more

We received Cox' new Contour box. After looking at 20 various wires, we called Cox to hook it up. Unfortunately our equipment was not compatible with the Cox equipment. Cox suggested we hire an A-V company to update our system. We requested several estimates and no one reponded. Lisa at Perected Innovations responded detailed/quickly and professionally. We called for an appointment and got one within 2 days. They called when the tech was in the area and arrived shortly thereafter. Chris was extremely knowledgeable and helpful, He was able to update everything without issue. He explained how the new remote worked And even "tested" us on how to use it. I would really like to thank the perfected Innovations team . There creative design team from start to finish was a great experience. The perfected team created an awesome design and concept. They placed a custom built-in cabinet with a motorized television that came up with all voice control. I cannot explain how happy we are. To top it off they provided us with a rendering and exact scope of the work and detail. Mike and Chris were amazing! They had everything done within the time and he even cleaned up their mess. I had a 60" TV that needed to be mounted with a top of the line mount. However, I am only one man and cannot mount the TV myself. Plus, I don't even have most of the required tools (ex. stud finder). The PI quite was surprisingly cheap, and the person who came ( Jeff) to mount my TV was professional and proficient. It took him 20 minutes to do it all by himself. Not gonna lie, I was quite impressed. Even more impressive, was that he gave unprompted expert advice about where I should mount the TV, with a list of solid reasons. I generally hate unprompted advice, but when it's solid, you can't really be upset. Plus, it proved that he was more than just a hired-hand, he was an expert. I found Perfected Innovations though the local Yelp review. Chris and Ryan came out and were very knowledgeable, giving me information about my TV's new technology. They corrected the issues on the HDMI cables inside the wall, patched up the wall opening and did a great job on the hook up. They set up the TV system, making it compatible with both the internet and cable. They were careful and cleaned up after themselves, very professional and made sure that i was completely happy.
