I recently was treated at Perfect Teeth Power & McDowell by Dr. Ilic and staff. I asked the front desk staff if the staff caring for me were vaccinated. She said it's a HIPAA violation to ask that. I told her it's not. A quick google search tells you that it's not. The dental assistant guided me to the chair and she became extremely defensive when I asked about the staff's vaccination status. Again, saying it's a HIPAA violation. She did not try to alleviate my concerns AT ALL. Dr. Ilic arrived at my side, no mask on. We continued talking about vaccination status, he disappeared and reappeared with a mask. I am the one at highest risk here with my mouth wide open breathing in the air. I feel I am not wrong wanting to know if my healthcare providers are vaccinated (or not). I will not be returning to this practice. As long as we are in a pandemic, I would recommend you do not patronize this practice either. Dental work is anxiety laden as it is. This type of treatment did not help in the slightest. read more

I made an appointment with Perfect Teeth two time to get my teeth cleaned. Both times they cancelled on me. I asked why and they said the doctor is pregnant and is having trouble. I could understand that but can't understand why they keep taking appointments. The lady didn't apologize and then hung up on me. My time is valuable too. Find somewhere else to go. We have been patients at Perfect Teeth for over 10 years now. I love their honest approach to patient care. We have tried other dentists who gouge their prices and want us to do tons of dental work. My family of 4 will continue going to Perfect Teeth (even when they are farther away than I would like). Very professional and helpful with anything from cleanings to fillings to teeth whitening. My first couple of experiences were good. They were polite and seemed helpful and concerned when I went in to have my wisdom teeth looked at, and a routine cleaning. They talked me into having a couple of cavities filled instead. Okay, I get that. They were professional and whatnot, plus they were great about working around my schedule (I don't have the luxury of taking time off work to go to appointments). Then, instead of just filling those cavities, they removed all of my old fillings and replaced them... on my dime. Enjoy your vacation house. A couple of the fillings had problems, and they refused to fix them, so I can no longer chew foods harder than peanut butter with my rear molars on the left side of my mouth without pain. You know what, shit happens, I can live with that I guess. So I recommended them to a friend who has similar scheduling issues. They were extremely rude to her. After saying they would accept her insurance, they have been billing her for the past 6 months, tacking on late fee after late fee, and refusing to bill the insurance company. So we had the insurance company contact Perfect Teeth directly... they were also extremely rude to the insurance company. She just received another bill with another late fee, with Perfect Teeth still refusing to even send an invoice to the insurance company. And, to top it off, they keep emailing me and texting me, begging me to set up an appointment. I've asked them to stop. I've demanded that they stop. And it still persists... Go somewhere else. Save yourself the pain of shoddy work, the fortune spent on unnecessary procedures, and the harassment that ensues afterwards. read more

Well, I did not see the horrible review before mine before I scheduled my appointment. My husband and I have not been to the dentist in a few years, largely due to not having the best experiences and some local offices. Our kids, however, have had the same pediatric dentist since they starting going to the dentist. My husband and I just had our appointment today. The staff was very friendly. The appointment took quite some time due to getting x-rays and cleanings. I was especially impressed with the cleanings. Because we had quite a bit of time from our last cleaning, there was probably more build up than normal. The hygienist did an amazing and thorough job cleaning my teeth. My teeth did feel a little sore, but I am so happy with how great my teeth feel! I am bummed to say that I have a new cavity. Only one other time have I been given that bad news... but, I am not the least bit surprised. So I will be returning to get a cavity filled and have another very old filling removed and filled in. The good news about my cavity is they did not pressure me to go it like some dentists try to pressure you to spend additional money. Our kids are scheduled next week (their first non-pediatric dentist appt) and I will update my review, if needed. read more

I was here a week or so ago for a regular cleaning and the staff was amazing!! Front desk was friendly and I especially appreciate Ellie the hygienist for taking care of my teeth. She explained everything she was doing as she did it. Considering I haven't been to a dentist in years, it was so nice just to know what was going on. I had a minor cavity that they filled the same day. Overall as lovely a time as one can have at the dentist, and I appreciate everyone going so far above and beyond to make sure their patients were taken care of. Thank you! read more

These are the most amazing group of women. My fiancé was so afraid of dentist she would not go. After she had terrible tooth pain and affection I convinced her to go. The way the handled her and made her feel comfortable was amazing. After diagnosing the problem and having to schedule surgery to fix the issue. She was still nervous but agreed to go back. Everything went perfect and know she is no longer afraid of going to the dentist. The love and care they provide to there patients is top notch. Perfect Teeth exceeded my expectations!!! I was not only impressed with Lori at the front office but with the dentist, Dr Dallin Snow, and his assistant as well! I was greeted and made to feel very welcome when I walked in and Dr Snow addressed the reason and only that reason I was there (he didn't try to convince me to get lots of work done that I know I need).... then I thought I was going to have to schedule another appointment to go back and get the work done (more time off of work) but he offered to do it right then and there!! After discussing prices, I was very happy... it was extremely affordable with the insurance plan they offer since I have no dental insurance. I am so so happy I decided to try them out! I am definately glad I chose Perfect Teeth. From the staff up front being very professional but making you feel at ease to the dentist and assistants. Since I moved from Illinois to Mesa... Lori got everything needed from my previous dentist. Even though I have insurance...one thing was not covered. They called to see if it would be covered, came and told me it was not and the price for the fluoride treatment. No pressure, totally up to me. Very through examination! I arrived early for my 1:30 appointment. At 2:00 I was still waiting so I asked the receptionist when I could expect to be seen. She told me another 30 minutes. The office was an hour behind. No one called me or at the least let me know as I sat there waiting. Ideally when I checked in they could have let me know since the receptionist told me they had been behind since 1:00. I had my reservations about the office. I made my appointment in person. Both times I was there it had a very strong smell of cleaning products which I had never noticed in any other office. I was very disappointed in the lack of communication and service. I promptly cancelled my appointment and left. read more

I arrived early for my appointment with my paperwork completed. I waited and waited. Finally, 30 minutes past my scheduled time I asked the receptionist when I would be called in for my cleaning. She said, 30 minutes. I clarified that the office was running an hour behind. Yes, she said, they got behind about 1:00. My appointment was at 1:30. The receptionist could have called me to let me know or at the least, let me know when I arrived that the office was an hour behind. Very, very disappointing service. I was a new patient. I had reservations about the office due to the strong smell of cleaning products. This was my second visit as I had personally stopped to make my appointment. It took over 20 minutes to schedule an appointment and I was the only person there the entire time. Both times the office was chaotic and the cleaning smell was very strong both visits. Have not been to a dentist in several years due to workmanship and service. But as time goes on one must do what is necessary. Went in for a checkup and consult. Every person I came in contact with was friendly and caring. As we live quite a distance from the office they made every effort to make scheduling comfortable for us, due to travel time and distance. All services and concerns were addressed and explained to satisfaction. Were re-assuring and checking on pain and discomfort levels during the procedures. All in all, a positive experience. After my last visit for a procedure the doctor, not assistant or office manager, called that evening to confirm all is well and that we had no discomfort or pain. They remembered our names and minor details, made us feel special and not just a file with a number. read more

I bought the family plan they offer one year and was satisfied with it. We only needed our cleanings and no additional dental work. The next year I bought it again and when I went in, it was all different people working. Every time I go or take one of my kids, we have a different person working on our teeth. They have very high turnover among the dentists and hygenists. I took my 2 kids to get their teeth cleaned and I said I wanted to be in the room with them. The hygenist said she would exray my son and come get me when the cleaning started. Well, she never came and got me and she brought him out to the lobby and from about 5 feet away announced to me in front of everyone that was there that my son had 5 cavities. Very embarrassing. No one took me back into the room to explain anything to me, I still dont know what teeth have cavities. My other young son got some dental work done there and had a tooth pulled and needed to get a spacer put in. They have no trays that can fit a small kids mouth to do a decent impression. Also, they were not able to get decent exrays of my 5 year olds mouth because they only had adult sized film to bite down on. I will definitely not be buying their plan again. read more

I have the best insurance coverage available and have always paid my office visit and extra charges without any issues with any dentist that I have gone to. I called Perfect Teeth to try a dentist closer to my home as I had a cap that had come loose. The dentist insisted on a full exam, and full xrays and then asked if I wanted to have the cap temporarily attached or permanently - I said the cap was new and there were no problems so I would greatly appreciate him using the permanent glue and let me be on my way and if a problem popped up, then I would contact them. The back and forth from the dentist trying to push extra services to the people who explained the fees took hours. I finally said, just glue it on I have to get back to work. I paid $32.00 and they charged my insurance $90.00, my insurance paid only $7.00 and they wrote off an amount but now I have a balance to pay for items that I did not ask for and also this has been a 4 month ordeal with this balance. I will pay the balance due but they should have thought to take care of the patient instead of trying to push extra expensive services on me and take hours of my time during a work day. Everyone lucky enough to have a good job has the responsibility to be at work and not be wasting their time at a dentist office while additional services are being "highly suggested". I do have to say that the staff was very nice but the entire ordeal was so long and drawn out when it did not have to be. I did call the office manager to complain when I received the final invoice and she was very nice but she had no power to do anything but repeat that my insurance plan only paid $7.00. I have asked many of my friends and they all said that they either had their cap replaced free of charge or for a minimal charge when visiting a new dentist. I do not mind the original co-pay but I do not appreciate the 4 month delay and then receiving a statement that shows a balance due. Are they going to reimburse me for time lost at work? read more
