However. the customer service could use a little bit of help; both workers were quiet and didn't really have a warm welcoming. Smoothie: 1/5 I did not like the warm temp of the smoothie, I didn't like the consistency, or the taste. I am new to the area and I will admit I am a smoothie snob! For some reason in the Downey - Montebello area it is extremely hard to find a great smoothie! I will not be back. I don't quite like that there is no restroom, but I could even bypass that as long as my smoothie has the right taste. lol.

Sunset Bowl -- 8.5/10 | $9.49 I decided to try their Sunset Bowl, which comes with Sambazon açaí, mango, kiwi, chia seeds, and goji berries. I was expecting this to be a little sweeter, so this was perfect, but surprisingly, it had a really nice balance of flavors. The mangoes had that perfect slightly sweet-and-tangy flavor, and the kiwi added another little burst of freshness. The different textures made every bite interesting, although I will say... the goji berries had me questioning my life choices for a second. They definitely added a unique chewiness! My only suggestion? GRANOLA. I feel like a little crunchy granola on top would have taken this bowl from an 8.5 to a solid 10. Give me that sweet, crunchy texture with the creamy açaí and fresh fruit and we're talking! And the timing couldn't have been better because I was selected to choose a FREE smoothie or açaí bowl! I was making that scrunch face that usually happens when you have something really sweet or sour. My friend ordered a protein latte and it was.... interesting. I just one sip and it tasted like water and ?? Not coffee... no idea how to describe it. It was not good. The service this time around was very, VERY bland and off putting. After sitting down and getting set up to do some work, I would notice the girl would go back and forth between her phone & if someone walked in. she was making drinks super fast, even another customer had commented on it. My drink, the cucamelon, being sweet & all still had all the powder stuff on the bottom. My first sip was powder and water I almost choked on the powder. The drinks aren't great in my opinion. They're on the sweet side & the coffee tastes nothing like coffee even though I understand it's supposed to be a protein powder and whatnot. This place is ideal to get work done as it's never really busy. I would go after noon and if people came it was all to go orders. But very slow. I remember asking the girl what time they closed and she just kind of looked at me and said "7" and I swear she rolled her eyes or something it was such a weird interaction. But life goes on and I liked the quiet and empty space for studying. One restroom is in the back. There's ample seating for the size of the location. Public plaza parking. So far I'm not liking the drinks. Out of three things I've tried it's hard to see myself coming back.
