I was not trading in my Mustang mind you but buy a 2nd card. I was greeted by Robbie D. when I arrived at the dealership. His first two questions were service or sales department and if I had spoken with anybody yet. We spoke for a minute and I informed him that I say the car online and wanted to test drive it. With out hesitation we went inside to fill out the ID and insurance paperwork so I can drive the car. (all covid protocols were followed, and were throughout the whole encounter, great job on CF-FV BTW). Filled out a quick survey of what I was looking for in a car and then a few minutes later, keys in hand, I was off in the car Now due to the previously mention covid protocols, you drive the car alone. The salesman stays at the dealership. This I thought was great as I could hear the car and even taking the time to pull over to make sure ALL the buttons work. When I arrived back I mentioned that I would like to drive a non plug in hybrid version, boom keys were there and I was off again. Got back and the $$$ talk started. LONG story short, we by no fault of Mr. Ds we were unable to reach a deal. Great experience, never really felt pressured to make a rash decision. Overall I would go back to this place to see Robbie D for my next car buying venture. A dealer is only as good as its sales people and this place has a great one.

I turned in my leased vehicle here yesterday and it was a BREEZE. Coming from out of state, losing…read morepaperwork to turn in a lease, this being my first time with a leased vehicle, and had wear and tear on the vehicle, I had a bit of anxiety. However, ALL of the employees here are super friendly and welcoming (may have been the Girl Scout Cookies I had on me to start friendly banter ha). They took my car for a drive, checked it out, signed it off, and bam...done within 15 minutes. No need for stress at all! They were all reassuring and told me that the only thing I needed was that third key I didn't even know I had (thank goodness for the junk drawer box I packed) or else it would be a $500 fee. This was seriously easier than looking for a vehicle. They also did not try to sell me any cars or pressure me in the slightest. These guys are professional and did not take advantage of lil ol' me like soooo many places I've gone to. I HIGHLY recommend returning your leased Subaru to this location.

Purchasing a new car isnt fun, but working with Thurmond was a smooth, and zero stress environment. My young adult daughter had her sights on one specific car after mnths of searching and she was ready to purchase that one, and ONLY that one and the car had not even got the lot yet. I wasn't giving her money for it. She had to afford it all by herself. I told her Id do the haggling for her and I was not looking forward to that feeling if worked a double in a rock quarry dealing with a car salesman. End result, we drove off the lot with THE car she wanted, papers signed and we felt great! She had just signed away thousands of dollars, years of payments in her name to this dealership and we felt we'd made a great decision to purchase from here. Capital Mazda may not know how big of a gold mine they have in this employee. I hope they invest in Thurmond because dealerships have bad reputations due to salesmen that are a dime a dozen. Thurmond had to put up with hours of my multiple questions for a solid 5 days and by the time we left the dealership we felt OUR time and money was well spent here and ready to buy my own car from them. I never had trouble reaching Thurmond. He was reliable, good energy, he was focused on us, I never felt pressured or rushed and he did a good job leading us to closure. I can see it when I look back now. The deal was fair, and really important--Thurmond actually likes his job so I have to compliment his management team. Great salespeople are a reflection of the culture and leadership they have and it was evident management respects and works in tandem with their people. Johnathon especially. There was a manager who seemed a bit scary/gruff at first, but was actually kind & professional so in the end the dealership was well rounded IMO. Ask for Thurmond. He is a breath of fresh air in today's environment. We are purchasing our next car thru Capital Mazda......unless Thurmond switches job sites.
