I've mostly had good experiences here, but today I came in to get my eyebrows threaded and the…read moreperson on duty had me sit in one of the chairs and told me to lean back. Well, I was leaning back as much as possible, but the chair back was not reclining at all. She insisted I needed to lean back, and I'm like, how do I do that? I had never had this issue on previous visits. Then she adjusted the chair and mentioned that it was broken, and I decided that I didn't want to entrust my eyebrows to someone who was careless about telling a customer to do something impossible. We just got off on the wrong foot, and I didn't want to be in the vulnerable position as a customer here. I'm not sure I'll be returning, even though this threading salon has been a convenient location for me to drop in in the past. If someone isn't paying attention to the condition of their chairs, or observing that I couldn't lean back, how much attention will they pay to doing my eyebrows the way I specify? This may be luck of the draw, and other threaders might be better with customer relations, or this was just a bad day. Give it a try, but trust your gut if the vibe feels off.
