It's been quite awhile since I've been to the dentist, like many of us I hold some fear from past bad experiences but today I had an AWESOME experience at Perfect Dental from start to finish. The 2 receptionists were kind and helpful with the paperwork process. I was then greeted by Angela who was truly a joy! Although I was told she's usually at a different office and cane to help her Attleboro sisters today, I felt lucky to get such bubbly care. Dr. Melon was equally fabulous. She was not only great with me but incredible with my 2 year old who was a bit fussy and scared for her first time visit. Not once did Dr Melon seem frustrated with her fussing. Very unprofessional office. Scheduled a new patient cleaning and x-ray two months ago. Was sent a text today, the day of, stating they had to cancel. Unfortunately, the Hygienist will not be in the office today. That person quit and no longer works at the office. When I called, they couldn't get me in for another 3 weeks. I will find another dentist before I deal with this staff. read more

Friendly staff, the tech in room was beyond kind and supportive.. and the dentist was just as friendly and sensitive to my needs. I got root canals done and I had no pain during experience and even tho my smile right now is temporary, I couldn't look better. I'm so pleased with how I look even now. NEGLIGENT SCAMMERS. Do not come here if you care about your teeth. They broke my tooth and left me in agony for a week refusing to give me an emergency appointment. They hire young inexperienced "doctors" to practice on their poor patients. They refused to reimburse me or even treat me like a human being. I've spoken to many friends and family who will no longer be coming here due to bad experiences. We are warning everyone we can. I will be suing and submitting all appropriate licensing complaints to prevent them from hurting others. I recommend you do the same if they have harmed you. read more

I went in a few months ago and the doctor said she refused to pull my tooth bc its a k9 and would rather do a root canal. They are booking in November so a few weeks ago my tooth broke and i went back. They said we can get you in sooner but you need to pay almost 700 dollars up front. Now i have a broken tooth and the nerve is exposed and they said unless you pay for the riot canal and crown without a payment plan we can do anything bc the dr want her personal reasons to over rule what i want. I want it out. I recommend not to go here they dont work with you. read more

Cleanings are always fine. I recently had terrible pain from a 20 year old amalgam filling that needed to be replaced and referred to another dental company for a root canal. I ended up at the ER because the pain was so unbearable. Perfect dental then replaced the filling and I had a routine cleaning done , but again the nerve pain was horrible. The location they referred me to did not have anything within a month's time frame to see about the root canal and I asked if there is any other place PD can refer me to. They said no and completely disregarded the excruciating pain I was experiencing. After another week of coping with ibuprofen, oralgel and a heating pad applied to my face, I decided to research private dental offices/ experienced endodontist especially when I have great dental insurance and should be receiving exceptional service. I will never deal with another chain dental office ever again. Also, the current doctor is not welcoming whatsoever... just graduated a year ago and her demeanor was just not pleasant. I'm always respectful or any and even in pain, I'm always welcoming so when I come in contact with providers who aren't, it makes you feel like just a number to them. read more

Stay the heck away from this place if you value truth and your teeth. I went to them to get dentures asking for a specific tooth to be removed that was holding them up. The dentist Mahadi gave me a speech about keeping a tooth that was so loose it was virtually already out with some baloney about it being a help to hold on the dentures. The dentures came and it had nothing to do them. It was a lie for money. The tooth magically had to come out and was dead a month later, equalling later visits and X-rays etc. Did I mention I went in to turn in my script for amoxicillin and Tylenol 3, only to be told the Dr dated them 2020? It's February, she even wrote July! Oh and the dentures didn't fit right! Anyway, I specifically asked how they make me replacement dentures. She said they just put in a tooth in the mold they already had. A month and a half goes by. (I have called 3x in the interim and was never told this..) But magically they were supposed to call me after two weeks to get new impressions. They had never been ordered! Not one time in the three previous calls, (when they asked for my information and claimed to be looking at my file) did they tell me there was any issue! So I'm livid that I waited for nothing. I also find out they frauded my insurance claiming they did a cleaning at the time they removed my tooth. Really? to what? Gums? I asked to have the DR call me and they told me to find another dentist she was not going to call me. There was a communication error and sucks to be me. She may not want to answer me but I hope she will love answering the state licensing board, and both my insurances for fraud. Apparently they cater to masshealth patients and figure they won't bother to report them. read more

People there are very nice, but... I've had cleanings twice now and they take you right back - then you sit for 45 minutes watching cable TV that is attached to the wall in front of you. Dentist comes in and takes about 5 minutes max to 'clean' your teeth - using a drill that she whisks over and around, sometimes slipping. That's it. That's your cleaning! In my 70 years I've never had a cleaning that didn't involve scraping and polishing. read more

This place is horrible- No stars for them i hold them (dr mahadi) fully accountable for my teeth breaking after Root Canal Procedures. I have a scheduled crown appointment and the tooth has already broken because of how horrendous their availability is. If I could hold them accountable legally I would be proceeding with a lawwsuit. How can you deny someone service they need until its to late?!?! If i require implants and my new dentist can say it's directly related to the dentist not making anytime for me I will be suing. This is one of the only dentist who acccepts my insurance there fore I now have to pay out of pocket and its worth it, because ill nor my family will ever go back. their services require you to wait an hour and follow up appointments are not until a much later date causing issues from a procedure they conducted. I have been a patient at Perfect Dental for the several years it's been open downtown, but it has gone downhill from OK to not-so-good. There is now only one dentist at the practice and I'm dissatisfied with the care I've received on my last two appointments. Both appointments have been with the same dentist. I requested treatment with a different dentist for my most recent appointment, however, all other dentists have left the practice. I was not warned of this in advance. On my second-to-last appointment, she did not talk to me throughout her time with me. She lacks customer service skills and a "bedside manner." I don't want an angry or annoyed person in my mouth with sharp objects! I like my doctor to walk me through what she's doing; that is not the type of service you'll get here. I requested a visual exam-only from the dentist, but she refused to see me without superfluous x-rays, so I did not receive any service and am leaving the practice. She has requested bite-wing x-rays at my last two cleanings without explanation. Adults with a history of tooth decay ("caries") need these no more than once a year - and possibly less often - unless medical needs require. I suspect that her demand is profit-driven or is a far-reaching effort to avoid liability. Similarly, every appointment seems to require a dentist visit, whereas other practices offer patients the option for a cleaning-only to save the patient on costs. Prior doctors performed the cleaning using electric tools (i.e. Cavitron ultrasonic scaler) with the assistance of the hygienist. Under the current doctor, low-tech methods are used by the hygienist alone. The practice has had complete turnover in the last two years at all levels. I had previously had more positive experiences here with Dr. Trikha and other dentists who have since moved on to other practices. This office has a low-budget atmosphere, particularly now, and little feeling of privacy due to the acoustics and layout. The reception staff are rookies. You pray that they follow HIPAA when you hand your medical information to them. Originally, this office featured a video game console and a children's play area, which has since been eliminated. There is now only furniture on one side of the waiting area; the other side stands empty. In the past, the TVs in the patient treatment cubicles distracted my hygienist and were too loud, but the sound was off on my most recent visit. Several local practices have poached the former dentists and I think this practice is hurting. read more

I was a little hesitant going into a clinic like this ( I have MassHealth now do can no longer see my previous dentist in Swampscott) bad location, very ghetto inside, but they use an ultrasonic cleaner fir your teeth and were fast and efficient. I had wanted to get a new set of dentures because my other set were 13 years old. I decided to give this dentistry a try because they are just a couple of blocks from where I live. I am so glad I did because they did the best job on any of the dentures I have had in the past. What I have in my mouth these days really does feel good and is not a hassle in any way. I encourage anyone needing any dental work to go to this dental place. Plus, the guy who wears the giant6 tooth over his head is a good guy---I have known him for quite some time. read more

I think this place must cater to children. My husband and I are new to the area and 'in search of' THE dentist.. we've already fired another one and this one was next... the dentist (really...) didn't spend very long cleaning our teeth and the BIGGEST turnoff was being handed a remote control for the television (really? Must we?)... it should be an option not an automatic. Anyway, it's not a good idea as the entire office is open and you can hear EVERY SINGLE TV blaring throughout. Distracting enough for adults... must be pretty scary for kids but they think it's a good thing? I'd asked the receptionist about it and she said that was the reason. Ummm. No. At any rate we found the PERFECT Dentist.. you'll have to see my other reveiws to find out... cheers! Ultimately we found a really wonderful Dentist after much searching...in Wrentham. Who told my hubs that there were NOT three cavities in his head like they'd told him at 'Perfect'. We attempted several times to obtain his previous tooth films from them and got excuse after excuse and gave up. Terrible experience!! Starts when I called to make my most recent appointment. I was told the original doctor was transferred is it ok if I see another. I assume it would be the same. Boy was I wrong. I called as it's Veterans Day observed and figured maybe someone would cancel. I was in luck I could go in at 130 instead of 3pm. I get there at 129 and they are prepared to do something that is supposed to be last thing done. Probably should have left then. They have no idea what the plan is for work I need done that they came up with the last time I was there. Guess that exam I had to pay for was useless. I'm told at 140-145 the doctor will be in to do an exam and draw up a new plan. I'm fine with this. At 235 I decided after sitting in chair with no one checking on me that it was time to go. The ppl in front don't seem surprised at all that it happened. At least they offered to allow me to sign a sheet to release my records to myself so I don't have to go back. read more

I give 1 star wouldn't recommend to anyone, had dentures down and felt as if i was looked down at. In 4 visit i must have seen the dentist a total of 5 mins combined. Noisy, the rooms are in a state that need some care the room i was in had nothing on the walls except all the dings from the equipment hitting the walls .did not feel welcoming. Made last appointment over phone that took hours because the women could not find me in the system only to find out they had spelt my name wrong.never go there ......... read more

I've been a patient at this office for a year & I would highly recommend Anyone seeking dental work to go. The staff is great an upbeat & really knowledgeable.
