I went into this office because I was having foot pain after surgery. I was seen by one of the new doctors who assessed me and diagnosed me with plantar fasciitis because he couldn't say it was anything else. He taped the soles of my feet and told me to come back in 2 weeks to be fitted for orthotics. I paid a 50 dollar copay and came back 2 weeks later. The office workers were immediately going to take me back to get fitted for orthotics and asked me to pay another 50 dollar copay. I protested because if that's all I was returning to the office to do, I could've done that at my first visit and shouldn't have been charged an additional 50 dollars. They waived it after I argued my point sensibly.
Then the insurance claim came to my house which said I requested 2 sets of orthotics. When I went into the office and talked to the unfriendly, unhelpful woman at the front desk, she kept telling me that's not what they had in their computers. In the end, my insurance didn't cover the orthotics. Fast forward to a month later when I called to check on the status of the orthotics(because I was under the impression that they took 4 weeks to make) I was told the person who makes them would call me back, which they never did. When I called again, I was told they were never made because insurance didn't cover it. And no one asked me if I did want or did not want to have them made. Very upset as my feet and back are hurting me more and more as my baby is sick and needs me to hold her . Who is running this office? read more
