She was able to set it up for my father to see Dr. at the last minute. Man oh man my father's feet needed some attention. It's one of those things that a simple toenail clipper would not be able to help. Dr. Perles did not make fun of my father's feet nor said to me,. "Jeez..why didn't you bring your father here sooner?" Dr. was respectable and politely reminded me that I have to bring my father to see him every 3 months. Not to mention the pain I had in both feet and legs was becoming unbearable. The Dr. and his office manager Amber have been nothing but professional and helpful to me since day one, and Dr. Mandanipours treatment of my problems has turned things completely around. I am able to function and do my day to day job with a lot less pain and a much better attitude (it's amazing how less pain=better outlook.) I would highly recommend Dr. Mandanipour as not only is he a good physician, he and his staff also care about well being. I was referred to this place after I was injured and honestly there was hardly no offices open for patient care at the time. I disconnected not because I didn't need treatment I stopped going because I wasn't receiving the right type of care. The physical Therapist caught Covid and I was treated by the masseuse. I still remain injured but thankfully I found a Doctor who cares about the patients well being and not just about how many people you can overcrowd in a waiting area. Getting into an accident and using no-fault accident insurance can be challenging but the reality is that the pain the people suffer is real and therefore the treatment should be real as well. Don't get me wrong this is a very smart Doctor Who cares very little about quality patient care. Stay away there are good no fault Dr.s out there if you search.

I am scrupulous about taking…read morecare of my feet due to a history of a broken leg with metal from a cycling accident 3 years ago. My orthopedic surgeon from HSS had told me to be careful as that leg with the metal plates is more vulnerable to infection. So when I thought I was getting an ingrown toenail I thought I was being proactive and researched and found Dr Newmark who had positive reviews. I made an appointment for that very day. That perhaps should have been my first warning. That he had an available appointment immediately. His bedside manner is very nice and due to his positive reviews I felt at ease. However as he was cutting (just a little of the toenail in his words) he cut my toe quite deeply. I couldn't believe it. When I got home and evaluated it more closely I was so upset. I called him and asked him for oral antibiotics to prevent an infection in that leg with the metal plates. But first he said are you sure I cut you and that it is not the Betadine? First of all I know he knows he cut me as in the office he hid it from me with his hand blocking my view of the bleeding so that was completely disingenuous. Second of all I am in the healthcare profession myself and I know blood when I see it but even a child would have realized this was blood and not Betadine. Third of all the pain from this cut was and is intense. I wasn't going to post a review as I don't like posting anything negative and I also think he is a nice person. However nice doesn't make it OK and this could be a serious complication for me and I am so worried. I don't want anyone else to make a similar mistake and that is why I decided to share my experience. I showed the photos to a good friend who is a podiatrist and who had been cutting my nails for me the last 3 years since my accident and never once cut my toe. The only reason I didn't see her this time is she is away and I was being proactive. What a mistake on my part. Anyway my podiatrist friend said and I quote " I don't like saying anything bad about other doctors but this is inexcusable" I am also quite concerned about his sterilization methods and I pray his instruments were autoclaved. In hindsight I am very worried as the office (and again this is in hindsight and you know hindsight is always 20/20) didn't seem all that clean. Ugh so sorry to have to share this experience but I couldn't live with the thought I didn't share in order to prevent someone else from dealing with this. I hope this doctor learns something from this experience and goes on to be more careful with others. I told him all about my surgery and metal plates in that leg and still this is what he did to me. Good: - Weekend hours and willing to accommodate your schedule - They are budget conscious if your insurance sucks Bad: - The receptionist is nice in person but not so nice over the phone and seemed a bit incompetent. - The office is dirty and seriously out of date. They made me stand to get an xray of my foot. The whole reason I was there was because I couldn't stand. -To get to this office there are stairs or a non- ADA compliant ramp. Why is a doctor's office that treats foot problems not accessible?! - I left in more pain than when I came in and ended up getting a second opinion elsewhere.

All of this to say I'm sadly disappointed in the pedi itself. The office and their associates are wonderful. Friendly and attentive, I had my questions answered and never felt like I was a hassle or a burden. Needless to say, the appointment was more educational than it was an actual MediPedi. Dr. Sha is very friendly and made me smile at first meet with a funny greeting. I was a little cranky since I hadn't eaten but he quickly lifted my spirits. The appointment: We sat and spoke for about 30 mins. I'm so informed and found things out about my feet that I'd never known. It's clear that Dr. Sha loves what he does. One thing I've noticed about the health industry is that they're quick to shove surgery and pills into you. This office doesn't stand on that. The goal is to avoid surgery and to avoid unnecessary means by actually figuring out the cause of the problem and fixing it as best as possible through all alternative avenues. I admire that. But on to the actual service. I'm not sure if it's the fact that it was paid for through Groupon or if this is just the standard here but not too much was done to make me feel a complete difference in my feet. The pedi part took all of about 10-15 mins. For $59, I'm not sure that I'm comfortable with what I got and I'm left wondering if the visit was worth it at all and whether a pedicure at a nail salon with some informational reading would've sufficed. My feet are just as ashy as they were when I walked in although they filed and scraped my problem areas down pretty nicely. All in all, the process was smooth, scheduling was a breeze, and besides the cost to service fulfillment, was of no inconvenience in anyway. Thanks anyway Lifestyle Podiatry.
