PEREZ TILE & CONSTRUCTION was recommended by Tile Market of Sarasota with whom we have worked for 15 years and have had a great working relationship.
Our walls had been covered with inexpensive wood strips that we wanted to replace with a beautiful, wood flooring to keep with the warmth of our apartment in downtown Sarasota. We knew it would take weeks by a professional who could do large as well as small, imprecise areas. I made a call and within a day, Bobby from PEREZ TILE was at our place. We would wait for an opening which we assumed would be months. The following week Bobby called on a Thursday to begin work on Monday. We scrambled to remove all furniture and pictures, etc. for what we anticipated would be a monstrous job. On Monday Jeff arrived and began to remove all the wood which took nearly two days. Jeff was METICULOUS. The third day, equipped with a Shopvac, plastic lining, cardboard, mats and and an array of tools, Jeff created a TENT for himself to cut the beautiful, oil rubbed, tongue and groove flooring to be cemented or glued to the walls. It should be noted that Jeff usually does flooring. However this, was a labor of love. We have never had such a craftsman who not only cared about his work but treated our place with the greatest of care. What could have taken weeks, was completed in 7 days. I am rather obsessive about keeping things clean and yet I can most emphatically say, that our experience with PEREZ TILE and Bobby was excellent, while Jeff was a true artist.
