Around 2 or 3 years ago I found Dr Perez on Yelp after experiencing a painful pinched nerve that traveled down my left arm. For context, I went through at least 2 years of unexplained and unresolved nerve pain and tingling, body aches, digestion issues, etc with zero answers from doctors as to what was going on. Back then she was the only person I could trust because every time I walked in her office for treatment she healed me and no matter how discouraged I was over what was happening to my body, she spoke life and healing into me and I will forever be grateful for that. Today, I am doing much much better after extensive lab work that revealed some root causes and deficiencies so now I don't rely as much on chiropractic care the way I did in the past as I no longer have any nerve issues or pain but I highly, highly recommend Dr Perez if you do and need support in that area. Her format for doing adjustments is a lot different and softer (it will make you question if it's working in the beginning but trust me it is!) but she knows exactly what's she's doing and how to get the brain to communicate with the rest of the body. Sophia and the rest of the staff are also extremely friendly and provide stellar customer service via phone or text. This is hands down a five star operation and I'm so thankful I found this place years ago and although I'm moving on from the Dallas area, I will still visit whenever I'm in town. Thank you, Dr Perez for everything read more

Avoid Genesis Back & Neck - Misleading Practices, Unproven Treatments, and Deteriorating Health I feel obligated to share my experience as a warning to others. Genesis Back & Neck pressured me into paying several thousand dollars upfront for a treatment plan that not only failed to help my condition--it made it worse. Despite arriving with an existing cervical spine MRI, I was urged to start an aggressive and expensive regimen immediately. I was assured the treatments were medically necessary and based on sound science. I was also told the CareCredit financing would remain interest-free--only to find out later that the 0% rate was temporary and would skyrocket to 29.99% after 18 months. This was never disclosed during their high-pressure sales pitch, of which I have an audio recording. Even more disturbing: after months of therapy, a follow-up MRI showed my condition had worsened substantially. I was in more pain than when I started. It became clear that my treatment plan ignored the very real imaging I provided at the outset. Since then, I've learned that many of the therapies used--including the much-hyped DRX9000--have been debunked or lack credible scientific support. A detailed NBC News investigation exposed the same types of tactics and unsupported claims being used across similar "pain clinics," and Genesis seems to follow the same playbook. Check it out for yourself: https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/patients-pay-thousands-back-pain-treatment-little-scientific-evidence-it-n1247993 This is not just about ineffective care. It's about deceptive financial practices, unethical medical judgment, and ultimately, patient harm. I've requested a full refund and plan to escalate my complaint to the Texas Board of Chiropractic Examiners, CareCredit, and other authorities. If you're considering Genesis Back & Neck, don't be fooled by their flashy marketing or exaggerated success claims. Protect your health, your money, and your peace of mind--and go elsewhere. read more

Amazing customer service and adjustments. I've been going for years. My back and entire body feel better after each adjustment. I've started taking my son to get adjusted and Dr. Perez is so incredible with kids. He loves going and she is such a trooper adjusting my sons animals when he requests it. Thank you Dr. Perez for being so patient and amazing with us. read more

Perez Chiropractic & Wellness - "If you dont make time for your Wellness, you will be forced to make time for your illness ..." - Chiropractors Near Me - Dallas, Texas

I've been going to Dr. Perez for over ten years. She cured my horrible allergies, rehabbed my shoulder and hamstring, cured my plantar fasciitis, carpal tunnel, and a nagging tennis elbow. About 3 years ago, I stopped going because I felt so good! As a result, I thought my body was falling apart. I blamed it on me turning 50. My pain was probably a 9 out of 10. Now I'm back! I'll never quit going to Dr. Perez ever again. I feel great. I really don't understand how it works, but I'm a BELIEVER! She will keep you active. read more

Perez Chiropractic and Wellness is my favorite Chiropractor. Dr. Perez has hands that heal. I am somewhat a special case. I have scoliosis and I 100% stand by my statement - hands that heal! Since I've been seeing Dr. Perez I have been healthier with a boost to my immune system and can do workouts that I was starting to have some trouble with. i don't get my terrible neck pains that were occuring. I see her weekly and I feel amazing! The staff is so sweet and very accomodating so I really enjoy going to this office/practice weekly. They truly care about how you feel. Thank you so much Perez Chiropractic and Wellness for helping me feel so great! read more

Erica and her staff are amazing! They are so sweet and welcoming. I have come here with sinus migraines and left with them gone. I do appreciate what Erica does, and she is always learning more to stay up-to-date. If you live in the immediate area, this is the perfect go-to. I am moving, so I will likely change chiro to be with someone closer to me. The only reason I give it one less star is that they do not have a masseuse like some of the other places, and I am there such a short amount of time to pay about $40/visit (no insurance coverage for me). I will be there less than 5 minutes and feel rushed when there. Otherwise, Erica is great! read more

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Perez! With knowledge, patience, amazing technique, and perseverance, she has truly helped me improve my health and my life! We started with acute issues in my neck, which she addressed and resolved in just a few visits. (Apparently, I had REALLY been sleeping in some not-so-neck-friendly positions. A new pillow and new rules for how to sleep - like other reviewers mentioned - aannnddd... in just a couple weeks, the neck was much better!) Then we began working on my posture. When I first started seeing Dr. Perez, my posture was so horrible, it was affecting my entire spine and causing debilitating headaches almost every day. Not anymore! I am literally becoming a new person, free of daily pain, carrying myself differently, with a stronger core and back than ever before. Dr. Perez is truly a healer. She takes her practice seriously, and as a career educator myself, I especially appreciate the fact that she continuously pursues professional development and new knowledge in the field. She isn't content with one way or the other... instead, Dr. Perez is always seeking out new information and techniques that can help her patients achieve better health. When she returns from a conference or a workshop, she always shares her new knowledge with me. I like knowing that she's on top of it and can apply the latest research in her practice. She listens to what you say and also to what your body tells her. She's much stronger than she looks, but she doesn't jerk you around in the way so many people assume a chiropractor does. Instead, she works with your body to slowly and PERMANENTLY affect positive change and reduce pain, and the bottom line is: IT WORKS. Her staff is always wonderful, too, friendly, kind, flexible, and fun. If you're interested in pursuing good health, GO SEE DR. PEREZ! read more

I was skeptical after my first consultation with Dr. Perez. I've only been to one other chiropractor before and she was very hands on. She'd crack whatever you wanted her to crack without many questions, but Dr. Perez is different. If you're wanting someone to put things back into place without really looking at the root cause, you should go somewhere else because you're not going to be satisfied. Dr. Perez isn't a "tune-up" chiropractor. After my first visit I contemplated not going back, but the fact is I'm lazy and this place is on my way home from work, and the staff is super friendly. However, I'm very glad I went back! Dr. Perez developed a treatment plan specifically for my injuries and outlined problems I didn't even know I had, based on the x-rays she took on my first visit. Apparently I'm developing a curve in my spine and am on my way toward an old lady hump. I knew I had problems, but I am not ready for a hump. Dr. Perez adjusted my posture, which I thought was pretty good, and showed me how far off I was. After two weeks I can definitely tell a difference in how straight I stand, but that may just be because I'm so aware of it now. . . "No old lady hump! No old lady hump!" is my new mantra. So yeah, Dr. Perez is a little new agey, definitely not the chiropractor to go to for a quick fix, but I appreciate the time and thought she's put into my care. And again, her staff is great. Very friendly and easy to talk to! Oh, and I never have to wait for more than five minutes to see the doctor! You walk in, get a little two minute massage to open up your spine, and then you're basically in to see the doctor within five minutes of walking in the door. She works her magic, and then you're out! Not to say she isn't busy - her system is just very efficient. I've been in the office with 4 other patients and still have never spent more than 20 minutes total on a visit. Only real negative for me is the underground parking garage for the building. Creeps me out because I watch too much TV, and the elevator moves as fast as molasses. read more

After my chiropractor left Dallas I was devastated and in serious need of finding a new doctor. I have been to several other places and it just didn't seem to be a good fit for me - that is, until I found Dr Perez! A friend recommended that I go see Dr. Perez and boy am I glad that she did. Located conveniently on Mockingbird and Greenville, this office is like a well oiled machine. Not once have I had to wait longer than five minutes to be seen which I really appreciate because I normally scoot in between meetings for work. Although Dr. Perez keeps your visits short she always makes sure to ask how you have been feeling and if anything feels different since the last time you saw her. The front desk staff is great and always knows my name right when I walk in the door. Scheduling or even rearranging in appointment is as easy as can be. Why can't all doctors offices run like this one? Whether you have been going to chiropractors for years or just want to see what it's like for the first time, I highly recommend Dr. Perez! read more

If you've been experiencing back or neck issues -- or maybe you've just feeling out of line somehow, do yourself a favor and call Dr. Perez. I can't believe that I waited so long to take care of my stress-related upper back and neck pain. She clearly explains what's going on with your individual situation and even more importantly, she is a caring, positive inspiration, constantly reminding you that your pain will improve in time (and mine did!). This means a lot when you are hurting as it's often difficult to believe that you will heal someday. But you will if you follow her advice. She knows what she's doing! Also, let me mention that she completely understands the art of customer service. Her well organized and cheerful staff expertly schedule appointments so that you aren't wasting your time waiting around to be seen. To me, this shows that they respect both me and my time and I couldn't ask for more than that. Highly recommend! read more

I wasn't impressed with this place at all. I am currently seeing someone else. Dr. Perez's office is too dark and their equipment in their exam rooms are very outdated. Literally the Dr. consulted with me, I was out in 15 minutes in total. She did some back popping (adjustment) that hurt worse shortly right after. Disappointment with her way of treatment. The only good thing I got out of this visit was the $5 office visit coupon I received from checking in via Yelp. read more

I've been seeing Dr.Perez for 5 months now and can see a huge difference in my neck/shoulder pain. We started off with 3x per week and now I go 2x per month. It was extremely easy to set up a payment plan (since my insurance didn't cover visits) and to transition to less visits while still working on getting rid of the pain and improving posture. I highly recommend Dr.Perez and her staff - they are the best!! read more

As a professional athlete in combat sports and a licensed massage therapist, my body performing at the highest levels is extremely important. Dr. Perez and her staff have been such a gift in my life. Dr. Perez is knowledgeable, reliable, direct and her method works. I have lived for a long time with back pain until now. Dr.Perez took X-rays on my first visit, and within a day diagnosed my back issues, explained in detail the history of what was going on with my body and set out a plan of action to get me back on my feet. I am a classical Pilates instructor and moving is my life and my income. After just a few visits I was out of pain and now with consistent care, I stay out of pain. Erica Perez saved my movement practice and I have sent several clients and friends to her, whom have reported the same. Do not trust your body with just anyone. Find the best. I promise you Erica Perez is the best out there! read more

Dr. Perez is very thorough in her evaluation of your spine, and it's easy to see that she really wants her patients to be involved in their own wellness, giving exercises, stretches, and other recommendations customized to your individual health. You really have to visit Dr. Perez for the experience to understand her technique is not like a traditional methods, twisting and cracking. If this is the reason you don't want to visit a Chiropractor, then Dr. Perez is the answer. Her method isn't aggressive, it's non-invasive and I received the healing I desperately wished for. She was able to re-align my body and immediately, I felt my previously tense joints and muscles relax. Before my treatments started, I went through an evaluation, she gave me some recommendations, and took the time to explain to me what was going on with my body. My range of motion in my neck has improved greatly and for the first time in years, I can actually look over my shoulders after many years of cubical work looking straight at my screen. I also went back to Dr. Perez after I had a shoulder injury and she cured that too - scar tissue was starting to form affecting my range of motion. Her staff is lovely! Great energy in her office, they are practicing safe COVID-19 protocols, and the location is also convenient, and beautiful. Most Chiropractor locations are in yucky shopping center locations and not in the best part of town. Not this one. Anyway, I can't say enough about the healing this Dr. has given me and I hope someone else needing body healing finds my experience helpful. read more

Awesome staff. Dr. Perez is very knowledgeable and approaches issues with care. She doesn't just crack you in every possible way and kick you out the door. I've been to a handful of chiropractors over the years and haven't been satisfied until now. I've heard at least 5 people praising her as they leave in amazement expressing gratitude for healing them. read more

I started going to Erica 10 years ago - when I moved out of state 5 years ago, I couldn't find a chiropractor who could remotely compare. Every time I visited Dallas she would work me into her schedule. Now that I've moved back I'm so fortunate to be back in her care. She performs adjustments in an entirely unique way vs any other provider I've ever visited - and it makes a remarkable difference. She is one of the few providers I wholeheartedly trust, so glad to be her patient again. read more

This review is long overdue. I went to Dr. Perez for chronic migraines and neck tension after medication and acupuncture failed to give me relief. Before Dr. Perez, I was getting weekly migraines that would take me our for 2-3 days at a time. I haven't had a migraine in over 6 months. Even the occasional hangover has been less severe since getting treatment. Her method isn't scary or rough like some other practices. She took xrays on my first visit to determine the best course of treatment. I wasn't fixed overnight, but within the first few treatments I saw major improvement with my neck. My posture is much better. I really appreciative her professionalism and honesty. She makes it easy to be open about whatever issues you are experiencing. Scheduling is also very convienent and flexible. Best of all, no more horrible headaches! read more

Dr. Perez is amazing. She helped me to stay comfortable and pain free throughout pregnancy. Postpartum she has done great with adjusting my newborn and helping me to stay pain free. It is so important to me to have natural therapy options without needing invasive surgery or drugs. I am so happy I found Dr. Perez and that she works so well for my whole family! read more

Dr. Erica has been my primary chiropractor for almost 7 years. Her expertise goes beyond the standard 'rack and crack' type shops that you normally encounter when in need of help. Oh Erica how I FREAKING LOVE YOU!! I know for a fact that "YOU GOT MY BACK" :D I have been going to Erica for over a year now and I love her! She explains everything that she does. I've been to other chiropractors but none of them are as good as Erica. Every time I go the front desk girls Carina and Melissa are so awesome and friendly! The first time of course takes a little more time but after that its usually 15-20 minutes that I am there, I stay a little more to chat with the front desk girls. Erica and the girls always take care of me. I always feel so amazing once I leave! I feel recharged and my allergies are gone! read more

Dr. Perez is wonderful! Since being a patient of hers the daily pain in my body has almost completely disappeared. Don't be fooled by her unassuming nature, although Dr. Perez is petite she is mighty! She seems to always find the muscle spasms I didn't even about. She does an excellent job of educating me about the causes of my pain and gives modifications about how to avoid the triggers. Dr. Peres is very relatable and her staff is always upbeat and accommodating. The office runs very efficiently and I rarely wait more than 5 minutes, if at all. The whole office is a very positive place and as long as I am in Dallas I plan on being one of her patients! read more

I have had chiropractic care before. Wasn't really a fan. But, Dr. Perez explains everything to you and really cares. She is working on my entire spine as well as my headaches. Gave me an ice pack, new sleeping rules (apparently I've been doing it wrong lol), and is working on my posture. She has her practice down to a science, no long waiting, just in and out. Dr. Perez is phenomenal! She genuinely cares about your well being. I have seen other chiropractors before and none hold a candle to the level of chiropractic care she provides. I have been a RN for 8 years now in the ICU and have chronic neck and back ache/pain related to my career.
