Around 2 or 3 years ago I found Dr Perez on Yelp after experiencing a painful pinched nerve that traveled down my left arm. For context, I went through at least 2 years of unexplained and unresolved nerve pain and tingling, body aches, digestion issues, etc with zero answers from doctors as to what was going on. Back then she was the only person I could trust because every time I walked in her office for treatment she healed me and no matter how discouraged I was over what was happening to my body, she spoke life and healing into me and I will forever be grateful for that. Today, I am doing much much better after extensive lab work that revealed some root causes and deficiencies so now I don't rely as much on chiropractic care the way I did in the past as I no longer have any nerve issues or pain but I highly, highly recommend Dr Perez if you do and need support in that area. Erica and her staff are amazing! They are so sweet and welcoming. I have come here with sinus migraines and left with them gone. I do appreciate what Erica does, and she is always learning more to stay up-to-date. If you live in the immediate area, this is the perfect go-to. I was skeptical after my first consultation with Dr. Perez. I've only been to one other chiropractor before and she was very hands on. She'd crack whatever you wanted her to crack without many questions, but Dr. Perez is different. If you're wanting someone to put things back into place without really looking at the root cause, you should go somewhere else because you're not going to be satisfied. Dr. Perez isn't a "tune-up" chiropractor. After my first visit I contemplated not going back, but the fact is I'm lazy and this place is on my way home from work, and the staff is super friendly. However, I'm very glad I went back! Dr. Perez developed a treatment plan specifically for my injuries and outlined problems I didn't even know I had, based on the x-rays she took on my first visit. Apparently I'm developing a curve in my spine and am on my way toward an old lady hump. I knew I had problems, but I am not ready for a hump. Dr. Perez adjusted my posture, which I thought was pretty good, and showed me how far off I was. After two weeks I can definitely tell a difference in how straight I stand, but that may just be because I'm so aware of it now. . . "No old lady hump! No old lady hump!" is my new mantra. So yeah, Dr. Perez is a little new agey, definitely not the chiropractor to go to for a quick fix, but I appreciate the time and thought she's put into my care. And again, her staff is great. Very friendly and easy to talk to! Oh, and I never have to wait for more than five minutes to see the doctor! You walk in, get a little two minute massage to open up your spine, and then you're basically in to see the doctor within five minutes of walking in the door. Before my treatments started, I went through an evaluation, she gave me some recommendations, and took the time to explain to me what was going on with my body. My range of motion in my neck has improved greatly and for the first time in years, I can actually look over my shoulders after many years of cubical work looking straight at my screen. I also went back to Dr. Perez after I had a shoulder injury and she cured that too - scar tissue was starting to form affecting my range of motion. Her staff is lovely! This review is long overdue. I went to Dr. Perez for chronic migraines and neck tension after medication and acupuncture failed to give me relief. Before Dr. Perez, I was getting weekly migraines that would take me our for 2-3 days at a time. I haven't had a migraine in over 6 months. Even the occasional hangover has been less severe since getting treatment. Her method isn't scary or rough like some other practices. She took xrays on my first visit to determine the best course of treatment. I wasn't fixed overnight, but within the first few treatments I saw major improvement with my neck.
