Today was my first visit so maybe it's a little early to be raving about this place, but I'm doing it anyway because I was very impressed. From the moment I booked my appointment I felt welcomed. I spoke to Mellissa--she was super polite and helpful, and didn't keep me on the phone forever talking details. And she got me in the next morning. When I arrived, I was greeted with a smile and firm handshake by Allen (Dr. Nguyen) and Mellissa. The consultation process was quick but informative for both parties. I had been to a chiropractor in the past, who after doing x-rays convinced me that I was going to look like a cave man by the time I'm 40...this was nothing like that! The muscles in my upper back are very tight, have been for a while, so he put me on a machine that pulses the muscles to release them, then he manually worked my trigger points with his hands and some Biofreeze. After loosening up my muscles he did the adjustment. Turns out I have a rib out of place, which sounds scarier than it is, but it explains why my back feels "stuck". He went kinda easy on me the first time so we can ease my body into it, but I already felt better immediately after the appointment. He didn't tried to sell me anything. He didn't make false promises of solving all of my life's problems or try to convince me that frequent chiropractor visits will give me super powers. So I've been having issues in my left shoulder and neck forever now, and not a lot seems to help the issue completely. I've seen other chiropractors about this, but no one was ever as detailed as this location. Dr. Nguyen helped release all of the tension in all of the muscle in my neck and shoulder with these exercises and then he adjusted it. Also, he went ahead and adjusted my knee because it always aches when I'm sitting in a movie theater or a plane for over 2 hours, it starts to hurt and lock up. This time around, nothing! Yelpers, this is definitely the easiest review I'll ever have to write. I would very happily recommend Dr. Nguyen and his team to anybody having any muscle aches, or neck and back pain. After a night of uncomfortable sleep, I woke up with a sore neck which progressively got worse over a two week period. The pain traveled down to my shoulders and I eventually lost my ability to turn my head left and right. I didn't even know chiropractic care could help with these sorts of problems. After a recommendation from a friend, I visited Dr. Nguyen who was willing to see me on extremely short notice because I was in so much pain (literally 30 minutes from when I called on a Saturday morning). My visit started with a deep tissue massage by his assistant, which alleviated the pain tremendously! I could immediately turn my head. Then Dr. Nguyen adjusted me and I instantly felt better. Everybody on the team is super knowledgeable. They took the time to explain and educate me on how I could prevent and treat the pain after I left the office. My first review ever for yelp! I had an appointment this morning with Dr. Nguyen to get my back adjusted. I've been spending the last couple weeks hunching over a copy machine so needless to say, i feel so much better after the adjustment. The office is very inviting and the staff is very friendly! I also got my shoulder checked out because i've had these pains in my shoulder joints. He gave me very knowledgeable feedback and suggestions on how i can strengthen the muscles/ligaments inside my shoulders to relieve the pain from lifting. The office was a little tough to find, so once you go up to the 6th floor, you enter the glass doors of suite 600 and make your way to the office. i think i should get an adjustment every month! =) i'll definitely be back. I used to think the chiropractic field was all gimmicks but I now respect the discipline. A little background of myself is that I am an avid bodybuilder who usually sleeps on the floor despite having a tempurpedic bed in the same room. It's not that I find the floor comfortable (which I don't), it's just that If I'm not on a flat surface then something about my back just doesn't feel right. However, after I was adjusted by Dr. Nguyen, I was able to have deep sleeps on my bed. At first I didn't notice this that it was the work of Dr. Nguyen until I thought about it while laying on my bed. Doc is very knowledgeable in his craft, and passionate to work on, and heal patients in ways they do not even know themselves. I've never been to a chiropractor before. Never even had any interest. A co-worker told me that I should give it a shot since I always complain about my back or neck hurting. It was hard to argue with a 5 Star rating and 18+ reviews. So I gave them a call and set up an appointment. He was very understanding of my pain and was able to get in the same day. Not only that, but he was able to fix my lower back pain completely. It turns out that I have a pinched nerve in my upper spine and before, I was only able to turn it to the right about one inch before the pain kicked in. After the session, I can turn all the way with little to no pain. If you're on the fence about it and you aren't sure if it's something you want to try, I suggest you do it. If I have any sort of back pain again in the future, I'll be going right back!
