His transformation of our damaged front door arch (due to vines) was remarkable. He clearly defined the scope upfront and his team delivered on-time & surpassed my expectation (very high quality work). They did the entire work without my supervision and kept me updated on progress. He was price was competitive, but not the cheapest. But you are for sure going to get a premium product. I also saw some of the lower ratings for Prime House Painting were associated with customers who felt their projects were not considered or turned down. As someone who has worked with contractors many times, I took it as a positive, as Prime House will only take projects they know they can deliver on.

Tino and his son checked in with me every day to make sure I was happy with the work, which I really appreciated. I would absolutely use them again and highly recommend Tino's Paint and Brush.

When we called them back for some work on the inside of the house, they took a lot of pride in how well the exterior paint was holding up and offered to do some minor touchups where our wreath hanger had scraped the paint away. All and all I can't recommend them enough.

There was a miscommunication at the start of the project, but in the end, I left satisfied. Julio and his guys did a good job and I feel like my place has more life to it than it did before. For that, I am thankful. Fortunately, I did my own research when it came to the type of paint I felt I should get, where to get it, and approximately how much. Tips/pointers were provided by Julio which I feel were helpful to a newbie customer like me. Overall, I'm happy I chose to use these guys. Pros Courteous and prompt Reasonable pricing Communicative Honest & Helpful Quick and mostly efficient (completed in 1 day) Cons Ended up paying more for paint than what I needed Slight damage to furniture (this was compensated though) Would I recommend? Yes. Would I use again in the future? Yes.

Took me a while to post this review. I found them on Yelp hoping the reviews are legit. Some of…read morethem probably are. And as much as I would like to give them a good review, them being our last contractor before we finally moved back in our house (after 20 long months of being displaced after Hurricane Beryl), it has been stressful cleaning up after the mess these guys have done to our home. And to this day, we're still finding paint splatters on floors, appliances, furnitures, doors; unpainted areas; uneven paint; it never ends. If you own a home, and you have things inside your home, don't hire these guys. They don't respect your property. Shoe prints on top of our table cover, it's so bad we had to throw it away. We had just installed wood floors on our stairs and there's a lot of scruff marks a thick dirt that we had to scrub it clean. They painted over nails. Paint was dumped on our toilets and sinks, and on our lawn. A simple search confirms that these are ILLEGAL. They tried to deny it but then later admitted to it when confronted. We brought up a lot of these issues shortly after they "finished" and they did come to try to correct many of it. And for that, I give them credit for. But I'm still finding paint splatters on several items, to this day, as we're working our way towards fully settling back in our home. ADDITIONALLY: before they came, we had our home thoroughly and professionally cleaned twice by another contractor specializing on air quality. And those cleaners have video proof of their work so we have evidence of the condition of our home (cleanliness-wise) before these painters roughed it it. I'm truly disappointed and I don't recommend this company to anyone at all.

He asked which days I was available so he could inspect the work and give me a fair estimate. I offered Thursday at 4:30 p.m. or Saturday at 11:00 a.m., and he chose Saturday. I confirmed the appointment, provided my home address, and he replied, "Thanks, see you Saturday." I took the day off from work and waited for him. At 11:15 a.m., I had to text him to ask whether he was still coming. Only then did he tell me that he was in San Antonio and could not make it. He asked me to send photographs so he could provide a price. After I explained that I had taken the day off and that no one notified me, he said he had an emergency and offered to send a salesperson. I declined. I completely understand that unexpected emergencies happen. However, it only takes a quick text--or a message from someone on the company's team--to let a customer know that an appointment must be canceled or rescheduled. I should not have had to contact him after the scheduled appointment time to learn that he was not coming. The lack of communication and consideration for my time was very unprofessional.

If Kroger's only sold items for over $20 I'd give them a bad review too. This included walls, ceilings, baseboards, doors and even refinishing the kitchen cabinets. They were so easy to work with-- from the quote to scheduling the work and following up for touch ups. It couldn't have been easier which was surprising given the size of the project. They are bonded and insured and have a supervisor who manages the whole project end to end. The painting of everything turned out really well. The best part though by far was the kitchen cabinets. They were a very light oak color; nice cabinets but a bit outdated in terms of color. The team removed the doors, took them offsite to sand them down and spray them. They turned out perfect-- I get compliments on them all the time. They also refinished a stair banister and fireplace mantel. Both were painted black so these were no small jobs. We had these painted white as well and they turned out beautifully. Their prices were fair, their work was great and the overall project management couldn't have been better. I highly recommend Next Door.
