Pereira 3D LLC is a woodwind musical instrument manufacturer and maker of custom clarinet accessories from 3D printing technology. Pereira 3D is also the first company to utilize 3D printing technology for making clarinet equipment, involving innovative materials (such as 3D Wood filaments) and hand-finishing that help your instrument sound, feel, and tune at its best. Ryan Pereira also offers artisan repair and overhaul services, based in Downingtown, PA. (I operate by appointment only. The shown business hours highlight hours during which you can schedule an appointment for repairs or instrument/product trials.)
History
Established in 2014.
My company began in 2014 when I created my first aftermarket clarinet barrel. I was raised in a household of engineers, constantly learning about the newest technologies and their advancements. It started my work towards finding a barrel that gives me a clear, centered, and effortless sound, eventually turning to 3D printing to enhance the level of precision and customization along with the ability to experiment with new materials. From there, it expanded to bells, ligatures, and even a full line of woodwind instruments, which take advantage of these great materials (including 3D-printed wood materials that will never crack, never change in dimensions, and will not require a break-in process). My 3D products are also lighter in weight, removing a notable amount of stress from the right thumb while being designed (via texturing and internal/external design) to match the sound qualities of traditionally used woods. Additionally, I can manufacture accessories to custom sizes/bore shapes.
