The Pereda Gardens make up an urban park in the center of Santander, which corresponds to a wide promenade parallel to the line of the pier and allows you to contemplate the bay of Santander, linking it with the urban fabric of the historic center of the city.
The gardens were named after the famous Cantabrian novelist Jose María de Pereda, with the sculpture paying tribute to him occupying the center of the park.
