Paseo de Pereda is a long street in Santander.
Located in the urban center, it has a long promenade parallel to the pier line, and reaches the small suburbs of Puertochico. The entire bay of Santander can be seen along it. The walk takes its name from the Cantabrian writer, born in Polanco, José Maria de Pereda.
According to the tour guide, this beautiful street is home to most of the lawyers in town as well as most of the gelato places in town....everywhere you walk along the Paseo de Pereda, you will see an ice cream place or a lawyer's office.
One of the main tourism offices is located on this road as well.
For those visiting, this is a great place to visit as it is next to the Pereda Gardens, the tourism office, the Botin Center, several cafes, restaurants and ice cream shops. read more
