We've visited Laredo during Covid-19. In town there were some locals, restaurants were well visited.
But here at the beach it was empty. Ok, it was a cloudy day, but there weren't hardly any visitors, not even walking along the beach.
It's quite a long boardwalk, along the long and wide beach. It's a nice walk with nice views. You will pass a bunch of restaurants, some playgrounds, public toilets and some small parks like the Paseo de Las Artes or the Parque a los Tres Pescadores at the eastern end.
Also found a street vendor selling very good Churros from his small food truck.
We really enjoyed the walk and the fresh and clean air. We didn't come for a swim, so we didn't mind the weather. Our dog enjoyed it as well, lots of space since there wasn't really anyone around. Parking was convenient - there's a free parking lot a the eastern end. read more
