However, this is the first restaurant I've been to in Tijuana, that does not have an English menu.... so I had to labor through the Spanish menu. But, they do have unique dishes, thus making the visit adventurous, because it is difficult to choose. I went back and forth, and finally settled for their 3-egg omelet with asparagus and sheep cheese. It came with refried beans, strings of carrots and beets, small fired up tostadas and fresh tortillas (both blue and yellow corn). A small side of soggy chilaquiles was also served. A small flavorful salsa tray is also provided with 3 options, ranging from mild to hot. The asparagus spears were thin, cut up into small pieces and sautéed with mild spices. The outer egg covering soft and not overdone. If anything, there was too much sheep cheese, in certain portions of the omelet. I say this because it was an asparagus omelet, and it, instead of the cheese, should have been the star. Still, it did not take away from the other commendable aspects of the complete entree and its accompaniments. Before the meal, a small refreshing fruit plate is served. They have live music and a big fountain in the middle of the restaurant. They brought out a small complimentary consomé de pollo con arroz as an appetizer, which was a really nice touch and set the tone right away. We ordered the enchiladas suizas, which were really, really good. Definitely a highlight. We also had the milanesa de res, which came with fries and beans (pretty typical). While the portion was solid, the milanesa itself could have been seasoned much better, it was a bit bland compared to the rest of the meal. The beans paired with it also lacked flavor. We also tried the enchiladas de mole. Mole is always subjective since everyone has their own preference. This one leans sweeter and more chocolate-forward. If you enjoy a rich, slightly sweet mole, this will be right up your alley. If you prefer a spicier (like me), less chocolatey mole, you may want to skip it. One thing to note, the parking lot is tricky. Cars are parked behind each other, so I'd only recommend coming if you have some extra time. If you're in a rush or don't want to deal with that kind of parking situation, it may be frustrating. We spent 20 min trying to figure out whose car was behind ours. Overall this place is okay, it'd be willing to comeback and try different menu items.
