Banh Mi tacos are good & the Pho is good.

Banh Mi tacos are good and so is the Pho. Staff is friendly. Place is small but nice.

As an on-again off-again vegetarian I really appreciate when a restaurant takes the time to perfect the meat-less options, which are almost always limited. It used to be really hard to find decent vegetarian options in Tijuana a couple of years ago, I'm glad to see that's not the case anymore. The Pequeño Saigón is a great addition to the list of amazing restaurants in town. It's a Vietnamese restaurant, so if you are down with pho and spring rolls this is the place for you. Personally I'm a fan of the veggie pho (Pho Vegetariano) , it's quite delicious and full of veggies (duh) and tons of noodles. I also tried the fried tofu (platillo de tofu) which was seasoned perfectly. The great thing about this place is that it is open late, last time I was there the sever informed us that they close at 2am, which is pretty ideal for an after-party fancy meal. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Overall, I'd recommend this place to anyone who's in the mood for some pho-ntastic food.... he he he he

They know what they're doing at Pequeño Saigon! Very surprised to find this good Vetnamese food place in TJ! It's a tiny little hole in the wall restaurant that right in the center of Zona Rio in this little bar plaza...tried the banh mi tacos, they were soo good! The meat was rich in flavor and the spicy sauce/salsa that's given with the dish just takes it to another level of deliciousness! My husband tried the chicken and vegetables pho, super satisfying! I loved Banana dessert: flambé bananas covered in Lecherita (sweet condensed milk) and toasted coconut shavings, so simple and so mmm-mmm good!

Greatest pho in town! Not that MGS crap, only real ingredients! Great portions too also.

We live close by to a bunch of great veg/vegan Vietnamese restaurants so the idea of going to a Vietnamese place while in TJ wasn't all that exciting to me.

They have live music and a big fountain in the middle of the restaurant. They brought out a small complimentary consomé de pollo con arroz as an appetizer, which was a really nice touch and set the tone right away. We ordered the enchiladas suizas, which were really, really good. Definitely a highlight. We also had the milanesa de res, which came with fries and beans (pretty typical). While the portion was solid, the milanesa itself could have been seasoned much better, it was a bit bland compared to the rest of the meal. The beans paired with it also lacked flavor. We also tried the enchiladas de mole. Mole is always subjective since everyone has their own preference. This one leans sweeter and more chocolate-forward. If you enjoy a rich, slightly sweet mole, this will be right up your alley. If you prefer a spicier (like me), less chocolatey mole, you may want to skip it. One thing to note, the parking lot is tricky. Cars are parked behind each other, so I'd only recommend coming if you have some extra time. If you're in a rush or don't want to deal with that kind of parking situation, it may be frustrating. We spent 20 min trying to figure out whose car was behind ours. Overall this place is okay, it'd be willing to comeback and try different menu items.

The grilled lobster was delicioso. Luis our server--and all the employees were pleasant and informative. We will definitely come back. *** Note this restaurant serves A LOT of octopus. It can be very hard if you are an octopus lover like me. Be warned & tell your server up front NO octopus on anything please. They are very accommodating.

What sold us was the photo of the Octopus SARTENEADO, & yes it was tasty, soft, & slow cooked in a well seasoned bath of butter. The rice has a hint of saffron, and the vegetables were nicely roasted. The table salsa is excellent and the complementary chips are doused in a bright red savory chili powder. We also ordered the trio of aguachiles, prepared with 3 different chiles; one green, one red, & lastly a dark blackened chili. Our favorite was the black aguachiles. They have plenty of mixed drinks & beer to offer, we had the hibiscus drink with mezcal. Everything is a 5 out of 5, including customer service. Heads up it's a very busy restaurant and parking is valet only. If you happen to have children with you they also have a separate play area for the kiddos; which is great if you happen to have an energetic toddler that needs a temporary distraction. The ambiance overall is very nice. I did notice it's somewhat casual to formal dinning, and very well staffed. It''s a great restaurant & I highly reccomend it.
