This is an exciting review because a lot of visitors to Alicante will benefit from it. Here it is...
Went on a four days family trip with our 16mths old daughter to Alicante and been our first family trip, it did not disappoint. Everything was nice and locating Pequeña Luisa was just the icing on the cake.
When we go on holidays, we like to eat where locals eat rather than the tourist areas. This restaurant was recommended to us by some locals we asked and on our first visit, Máximo (the Italian waiter) looked after us. He's a great addition to the team and really looked after us. I understand a bit of Spanish, so when I saw 3 course meal + drink for €10 I thought it must be wrong. I swear the food here is top class and I dare anyone who says otherwise are ungrateful. Yes the plate is not heaped which is good to avoid waste because you'll definitely be full afterwards anyway. We would've happily paid €50-€60 for the meal because it was finger licking good (every time) and your pocket won't notice it. Places where we had 2 course dinners for €50-€60 were not as nice as this restaurant. The service is very quick too and you won't be left waiting. We had lunch here 3days straight and it's the most important place we miss most about Alicante. If Pequeña Luisa Restaurant was near me in Ireland, I'll never cook again because their food is fresh, healthy and menu changes daily.
I can write a book about my love for this restaurant because even our baby who's a fussy eater loved it #EnoughSaid
The bottom line is, if you're visiting Alicante please don't get ripped off by those expensive restaurants... Pequeña Luisa is the place to be. The place is very clean with sitting outside and inside. It's always very busy and they'll always accommodate you even if you've no booking.
To get there: once you get Bus or train to LUCERO, walk down towards the first Elcoteingles on your right then turn left and it's the left Street called CALLE PARIS :) read more
