Came here for lunch on Mother's Day with a party of 6 - the food and service were fantastic! Everything we ordered was fresh, delicious, and perfectly cooked - calamari was so tender and perfectly fried, margherita pizza crust was thin and yummy, and our main courses (pastas, chicken parm, Marsala) were excellent! Portions are very generous - we are used to small NYC portions so we ended up over ordering, but now we have yummy leftovers. Staff were friendly and attentive; the chef came out to greet us at the end of the meal which was really nice because it was busy lunch time. We'll definitely be returning customers as the food and service were amazing.

This restaurant is a hidden gem. I am so happy that my boyfriend and I decided to check it out. The ambiance is very lowkey. When we got to the restaurant there was one other table, during our stay it filled up. Our server was sweet and attentive. We went on a Sunday and unfortunately they were out of a lot of dinner items. The food choices that we made were incredible. We started off with sausage in a red sauce and the sausage was so flavorful and moist. We could have finished the whole thing but we wanted to save our appetite for our entrees. We took it to go and it was just as amazing the next day. The half pizza half calzone was great because we got two different options. The calzone was one of the best I've ever had. The ingredients were rich and fresh. The chicken was so thin and crispy. The mozzarella was so fresh and light. The vodka sauce was to die for. It was the best vodka sauce I have had in this area hands down. The chef even came over to ask how we wanted the sausage prepared which was a personable touch. We will be back for sure. I can't wait.

Love the food the family atmosphere and the cleanliness of the place. Nice and bright and full of life. Brick oven bread and pizza is delicious along with the chicken Milanese. They bring water from brooklyn, and you can taste the difference the specials are always so good and BYOB is awesome! Staff is attentive, will be a regular here.

Look what they do for the coffee cream!! Whip it!! Nice!

My husband through me a surprise party at Peppinos on Route 34 and it was fabulous. Owner and chef Vinny out did himself with amazing Italian food. We had the back space all to ourselves. The servers were wonderful so attentive and responsive to all our needs. Everyone raved about the pizza! Their servings are huge enough to share. The eggplant parm was delish. Chicken cutlet parm is a staple for me and Peppinos was right on. The fried artichoke hearts were amazing. Everyone went home with tons of food. Mmmmmm!! Thank you Vinny and crew!! Remember if you order the mixed salad ITS HUGE!! Share is the word!!

Gr8 place. Food was delicious. They were packed on a Friday night, but the owner came out and handled everything like a true professional. There should be more restaurant owners that are gentlemen like him.

The spicy pizza... we love a challenge and these very spicy Italian peppers do the trick. The taste is a culinary explosion!

Peppinos is an authentic Italian experience! Food is always fresh! Sauce is perfection! Pizza crust is simply the best! The calamari and salmon are decadent! Penne alla vodka is my favorite, Or bring your own bottle and get a cheese plate! This is the kind of neighborhood restaurant we all needed, and is fast becoming a part of the community fabric! I love coming here on a weekday night with the kids to relax and enjoy a freshly cooked meal! They are just getting started, let's give this small business some big love to do great things!

Went to dinner here recently and Prices have gone up considerably and not warranted from this casual restaurant. Menu selections have been reduced and are now limited. Service was slow and the waitress was cold and inattentive. Food was ok nothing special. Probably the last time for us. Remember repeat customers are considered the best!

Garlic crisps I think it's called. Better than traditional garlic bread.

Had a great meal here. Staff was attentive and polite. Most importantly the pizza was great and the sauce was great. The sauce is the backbone to everything you do. Will be back again for sure.

Best Italian restaurant around the area! Truly authentic Brooklyn pizza & food! Specials were phenomenal. Love the fried artichokes & farfalle vodka! Desserts were mouthwatering but I was too full to order any. It's BYOB. I will be back for sure!

    Fried Calamari. Delicious!

Just as good as the original in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. Been there twice already. I live the smell of the brick oven. Pizza is best around that's for sure. Fried Calamari is excellent. Caesar Salad is amazing. The seafood specials are delicious and fresh. Very happy this place is around. Not many great spots for Italian food in the area. Highly recommend. Great service. Make a reservation if you plan on going on a weekend.

We arrived and were seated quickly- our table was nice and in a comfortable location. Our server came over promptly and asked if we would like a drink. The room is dimly lit, which was fine for me- but tough for my father (who is in his 70's). They did not have chocolate milk but we were offered hot chocolate instead- which I thought was an odd alternative. It was a limited holiday menu, and each entree had a price next to it. For example- the penne vodka was $59.99, chicken parm was $69.99 and steak was $79.99. It was not explained to us that we also would choose an appetizer and some form of dessert would be provided at that price. I had to ask the server and she finally confirmed what I thought was the arrangement. I did expect higher prices due to the holiday, and would have no issue paying those prices if the food and service were both fantastic. We were brought a basket of bread with no butter and no oil. I had to flag someone down after 10 minutes for butter. We received our sub par appetizers quickly (mine was Mozzarella en Corozza- but it was a grilled cheese ... and not a good one- very bland). The appetizer choices were okay, but my husband's "Mozzarella di Buffao" was literally 3 slices of tomato and 3 small pieces of cheese. No exaggeration. We waited 30 minutes for our entrees after our appetizer plates were cleared. 30 minutes. AND they never brought my elderly father's Chicken Marsala. He waited while we all sat with our plates. I think his dinner came out 20 minutes later. We were never offered any courtesy (complementary side dish or ANYTHING) for his dinner never being delivered. We had to ask 3 times for it until the issue seemed urgent. We were never offered grated cheese or pepper for our entrees. I normally wouldn't complain about that, but when you are paying over $500 for dinner, these things matter. The wait staff was less than accommodating. The only people who seemed like they cared were the busboys. The steak was the only entree that was raved about. My chicken parmesan was not good. The chicken itself was over seasoned with rosemary. The sauce was completely flavorless... almost like they just dumped a can of plain sauce on top of the chicken and pasta. My son ordered penne vodka, which was also bland. It was a very small portion for such an expensive price. After being at dinner for over 2 hours, and ignored for most of that time, my 8 year old was getting antsy. My husband asked if it was possible to take our desserts (which were included in the outlandish price), to go. Our server suggested we ask the food runners to pack them up when they bring the food out, but then flippantly said "I'll just do it". We weren't asked what our choices for dessert were- they just threw little pieces of a few things in a to go container. We didn't even care at that point and wanted to just leave. We asked for the check- which took forever since nobody was glancing in our direction. I immediately put my credit card into the check folder and stood it up on the table so it would be easily seen. I waited. I sent my family outside to get into the car.... and still waited. Finally 10 minutes later, another staff member pointed out to our server that I was ready to pay. She came over to me and said "I will bring this to the hostess for you". Is this a diner? Was I expected to bring my check to the hostess stand? I was confused. She acted like I was an inconvenience. I just got up and walked to the hostess stand to sign the credit card slip. Gratuity was included. $82.00 of gratuity which was not at all deserved. I understand it was a holiday and things happen. I understand a lot of that is beyond the control of the server. Being ignored, spoken to like you are an inconvenience, not being offered pepper or grated cheese - are not. I worked in the service industry for many years and I found that most of our experience at this restaurant was unacceptable. I will not be back.

We ordered the Pasta Al Forno as an appetizer & Chicken Scarpariello for the main dish. Was quoted 35-40 min when I called it in, arrived ~30 min, paid & food came out near the 40 min quote. The pasta - for us the cheese on top was perhaps over toasted as it was on the dry side. Flavor was fine otherwise. Not sure I'd order this for a main dish without added protein though. The Chicken Scarp - excellent. The chicken & potatoes were very tender. The mild sausage makes this dish come together, it adds a level of savoriness to complement the balsamic sweetness in the sauce. I also like the long angled slices of sausage nicely seared on each side, it was not expected vs other versions that I've had. Meal also came with bread to soak up that chicken sauce. Also noting the place seemed packed, only 2 spots on their lot were open plus it sounded busy inside. Will try it next time onsite with one of my many fine bottles of wine. :)

From the outside it looks like a simple storefront but on the inside, it was a beautifully decorated restaurant. We were welcomed and seated promptly. The server came over and greeted us and asked if we had a bottle for her to open, which we didn't. Unbeknownst to us the restaurant is BYOB. When we shared that it was our first time there she gave us some time to look at the menu. I ended up ordering shrimp parm with linguini, and I asked for the linguini to have white sauce as opposed to the red sauce. She brought over water, a bread basket and bruschetta for the table. I usually prefer lime with my water. They didn't have lime, but she did bring over lemon wedges. While waiting for our meal my company had to step out and by the time the food arrived they weren't back. I asked the sever if I could get a plate to cover their food and she was super accommodating. Upon my companies return the server, even offered to reheat the food for them, which I thought was a nice touch. We declined, but we were still appreciative of the option. My food was very delicious. The white sauce for the linguini was amazing. One of the better Alfredo sauces I've had in this lifetime. The shrimp Parmesan was so so. I felt like it could've used maybe a little bit more seasoning but honestly paired with the pasta. I had no complaints. The restaurant definitely has a family feel and I got the impression that a lot of the patrons are regulars. I don't live in the area, but if I'm ever there again, I would certainly return.

Gorgeous lighting, trendy aesthetic, romantic atmosphere. If your goal is taking photos for Instagram or pretending you're dining in Manhattan for the night, this is your place. The food, however, was wildly underwhelming for the prices. I ordered the "short rib" bolognese and spent half the meal trying to locate the short rib. It looked and tasted more like regular chopped meat sauce than slow-braised short rib. I've honestly had pasta dishes from local pizza places with more flavor and authenticity. And the candles... there are approximately 47,000 candles in this restaurant. So many that at one point a waiter leaned dangerously close to one and I genuinely thought his vest was about to catch fire -- meanwhile he had absolutely no idea. That pretty much summed up the overall dining experience: chaotic but aesthetic. Also, why is there forced valet in Lincroft? Even when you self-park, they still ask for your keys like you arrived in a Bentley instead of a Honda Pilot. Another strange touch: it's BYOB, yet they keep your wine bottle off to the side somewhere instead of leaving it at the table. The whole point of BYOB is being able to pour your own wine whenever you want without having to flag someone down every time your glass is empty. It felt unnecessarily pretentious for no reason. The biggest issue was that the restaurant never actually felt authentically Italian beyond the decor. For a place charging premium prices and branding itself as an upscale Italian dining experience, there should be a stronger sense of Italian hospitality, personality, culture, and presentation throughout the service experience. Instead, the whole thing felt more staged than genuine. Communication around the specials was difficult, nothing was written down, and the service lacked the polished confidence you expect at this price point. Ironically, the teenage valet outside gave more authentic Italian restaurant energy than the dining room itself. My suggestion? Lean harder into genuine hospitality and authentic Italian dining culture instead of just the aesthetic. Right now it feels like a beautifully designed movie set where the food and service never quite match the image. Overall: probably a nice place for cocktails, dessert, and ambiance before or after a night in Red Bank. But if you're going specifically for an amazing Italian dinner worthy of the prices, save your money and hit a really good local pizzeria instead. I promise if you change the wait staff to people who have a little more command of the English language... the word on the street would probably improve.

The meatballs was very tender , well balanced with the tomato sauce that's not too acidic. The sauce was not heavy at all and I love the fresh basil. The chicken parm , which I don't normally order was recommended by the server and did not disappoint. It was tender, moist chicken cutlet with crispy, flavorful breading, balanced by a vibrant, not too salty or acidic marinara sauce and, melted mozzarella, served with rigatoni. The desserts we got were super delicious and not too sweet. We had a 5 pm reservation and was able to self park on their lot.

Ambiance was casual with families, couples, etc. There is a good amount of seating inside but reservations are highly recommended. 1. Wine list - Huge huge Italian wine list with smaller names and unfamiliar names. Did my research and got a bottle of rosso montalcino ($69) which was excellent to pair 2. Meatballs - tender, doesn't fully fall apart but light and almost melts in your mouth. Sauce is light but full of flavor 3. Eggplant parm - not spicy even though supposed to be spicy rigatoni with it. Huge portion. Took half home. Pasta was delicious with enough sauce and al denté as I like 4. Tiramisu - one of the better ones I've had. Not alcoholic. Moist and excellent balance of layers. Shaved chocolate on top is a nice touch 5. Chocolate torte - deliciously creamy and lighter than I thought. Full chocolate flavor. Comes with a fior di latte gelato which was high quality. Overall an excellent high quality Italian dinner. No wonder why it's hard to get weekend reservations. Highly recommended and will definitely be back when in Red Bank and craving Italian.
