This store has about every kind of hot sauce you'd ever need - smokey, sweet, peppery, etc... Like it hot hot?!? Ok, tough guy. Try out the King Jolokia. Still not hot enough? Oh, I see. You like to bleed from your eyes. Ok, get you a little bottle of The End. It's just a little concoction of pure extract. Extract of what? Got me. Maybe pure anger? 8 X distilled hatred? Who knows....go ahead and try it. You'll LOVE it!

Oh oh found my palace! *:)~ This palace is quite the same like any other pepper spicy store. They store a huge selection of "kill me now" spice and sauce so that they leave the store feeling so much on fire! I went into one spicy pepper hot place store before in a town called "New Hope" so this is not new to me. They have everything hot and spicy sauce from almost every country and city yes every except I can't find one from the country of my origin. So ok, it's time for me to promote some spice from Malaysia and I hope everyone would really be on fire! I bought a bottle of "black rose" hot sauce to try it with my home made chicken wings. I haven't made one but I'll broil the chicken with this black rose. The bottle's label is absolutely scary, it's a skeleton, so I'm sure whoever tries my chicken wings will get a heart attack or close to death. Our salesperson was a young girl who's super glad to let me try everything, They sample the sauce from 1 being the least hot/spicy and 10 being the most and dangerous hot/spicy. So I tried from 8 down because I wasn't ready to have my tongue on fire. Watch out people! Check this store out and let us know what you think. Fire-up!

    Trying to chose... ;)

Ooo wee! It was my birthday and I wanted something sweet besides cake…read more I'm glad I found this place, now normally chocolate places are a hit and miss when it comes to white chocolate. But this place takes all the stars! Lol it was so hard to choose just 1 or 2 things. So I got a bunch of things in white chocolate. - white chocolate covered pretzel - w/c coconut - w/c peanut butter cup - w/c with peanuts And one chocolate covered pretzel All tasted super fresh, not overly sweet and the pretzel were delicious. Probably my fav!!! I wasn't too crazy about the peanut butter cup. I did regret not getting more w/c pretzels. Will definitely be retuning soon!

If you have been to Savannah, GA, you may be familiar with the Pecan Praline treats. They have them here. They are really good and sweet and dissolve in your mouth like soft crystals. They have different flavors but I liked the sample of turtle the most. Besides these Savannah Sweets, they have chocolates, candies, ice cream and sorbet. I really didn't feel like ice cream but my husband did so we shared the butter pecan. It was pretty good. We also tasted the toasted coconut but the butter pecan was better. Everyone here was super nice and walked outside and offered ice water to everyone. Such a great friendly detail considering how hot it is right now. Definitely a cute sweet spot to visit in St. Armand's Circle. Also many shops are closed after sunset but they do stay open later.

Vung Tau has something that most grocery store do not offer. You can order cook food specialty dish…read morefrom Southeast Asian cuisine especially from Malaysia. This grocery store is very close to the university. Parking on the strip plaza is convenient. The grocery store function as oriental grocery store. They carry a lot of oriental food and spice. Frozen item to snack. I saw something they carry including the wet Malaysian red rendang and curry paste. This is difficult to find. Many grocery stores sold dry powder. Not wet types. I feel the item in this grocery store has a lot of mark up in compare to Tampa. This is due to monopoly in this area. If you want restaurant cook dish in their menu, you need to order two days advance. We got the chicken satay, lemongrass pork, tamarind shrimp, and Thai basil squid. The squid and shrimp is ok. However, the satay meet the Malaysian standard. I recommend you order it. The lemongrass pork is also worth the price and taste. The shrimp is a bit not top quality fresh. Can skip this.

BLUF: Good ice cream in St. Armands circle and even better when it's not crowded…read more Yes, I like Kilwins ice cream and I love it when I don't have to find a parking spot or wait in line. This Kilwins is located in St. Armand's Circle. Given that, parking can be tricky and lines can be long. Conveniently, this Kilwins was in walking distance to my hotel on a recent stay in Lido Key so I was sure to stop by for a scoop. Also, I am glad to see Kilwins was able to renovate and recover after back-to-back Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton hit the area. I wouldn't drive to St. Armands Circle and fight parking just for Kilwins but if in the area and craving a sweet treat, Kilwins has visitors covered with ice cream, fudge and candy.

More than ice cream!…read more Yes, we bought ice cream here. Seating on benches in front of the store while seeking to complete a cone before meltdown has been a family tradition for years. So, this time, I though readers would like to learn of our experience with two non-traditional items for us: chocolates and peanut brittle. Bottom line is - both were excellent! We wanted to bring home treats for those who could not join us for ice cream. Chocolates and peanut brittle were practical and appreciated choices. The appended photos convey more information than these words would - so please see them. Notes: 1 ) There is no indoor seating. So, plan to sit outside on benches or stroll the circle with ice cream. 2) Afternoon street parking was surprisingly available. Perhaps a weekday afternoon in summer is not prime time. 3) Free samples - The staff will gladly offer a free sample of ice cream. Don't be shy about asking for advice. 4) Price - As a grandparent, I am surprised at how pricey everything is nowadays. However, my millennial kids say that Kilwin's offered a decent value. Kilwin's remains a much-anticipated highlight of family visits to the Circle.
