The best place for hot sauces. They my brother and cousin bring in their own food to try the hottest pepper in the world.

A delicious array of varied Asian dishes provided with great service in an open, modern-decor bar…read moreand dining area, Spice deserves its reputation as one of the best restaurants in the region. I'll start by saying that while we've routinely had delivery from Spice, until this recent visit we had never actually eaten there. Our goal was to enjoy a late afternoon on the rooftop bar. Unfortunately, it was busier than we anticipated and the only open tables were unshaded. No problem, we went back downstairs and helped ourselves to seats at the bar. Our drinks were well-made and thirst-quenching - it was honestly hard to pick the best among the Japanese Old-Fashioned, Asian Pear Martini and Lychee Martini (confession, I'm not a lychee fan but if I was I'd have two of these). By now we've had most of the items on the menu and have never received a bad meal. My favorite Small Plate is the Spicy Tuna Rice Crisps. Fresh tuna served on Japanese style crisped rice cakes with a hint of spicy mayo. I could eat these every week - and yet, we didn't order them this visit. Instead, we had the Roti Canai, edamame, vegan fresh spring rolls and seared scallops. All were devoured, so good! Among the other menu items, my recommendations are the Green Curry and the Short Rib. The rib in particular is fall-off-the-bone tender and served with a flavorful au jus sauce. I was very impressed by the service (especially compared to that of several other restaurants in the area). Our bartender was busy, yet still cheerful and attentive (and she made great drinks), Definitely in my overall Top Five among restaurants in the Fort Mill / Rock Hill area. Highly recommended!

Cuisine: 7 Service: 8…read moreDecor: 8 Value: 7 Overall: 7 I didn't expect myself to like it since I generally do not appreciate Asian fusion. However, this place was honestly quite good, along with excellent service and wonderful decor. Two of us started with some Edamame and Tom Kha Soup, which were both just alright. Where the meal started to shine was they brought the perfectly Seared Scallops w/ Vermicelli. I have been to Michelin starred restaurants that didn't have such a beautiful sear on their scallops. What a tasty treat! As for the entrees, the Braised Beef Short Rib was another spectacular dish. Falling off the bone tender and a rich savory sauce. However, the Bibimbap was nowhere near the quality we have in NYC. I honestly didn't expect to like this restaurant, but I really did enjoy the meal way more than anticipated. I will gladly return for those Seared Scallops and Braised Beef Short Rib again.

We came in for a weekend brunch and were immediately impressed by the experience. Our waiter was super attentive and helped steer us toward some great choices on the menu (you pull it up through a QR code at the table). We ordered the French toast and the Eggs Benedict to split. The French toast was golden with just the right balance of sweetness. The Benedict comes layered with smoked salmon and spinach, and it was so good my friend even ordered a second one to take home! I've actually picked up sushi to-go from here at night in the past, so I already knew the food was reliable, but sitting down during the day let me appreciate how nice the space actually is. At night it has that dim, moody lighting that makes it a great date-night pick, but brunch was relaxed, bright, and didn't feel rushed at all. Definitely a spot I'd come back to whether it's for casual weekend brunch or drinks and sushi on a night out.

For larger groups (we had about 10-12 people) they would only allow 3 bills which I always find to be weird & the place was empty but hey house rules I guess lol. The group had pretty good reviews on food but I would recommend not getting the lamb sliders for brunch. For the price and size it should be listed as an appetizer. It was over cooked and literally an oversized bun on a small quarter sized lamb slider. Also for the champagne brand (I believe "André" or "Clarke"), very overpriced. I'll definitely come back to check out the dinner since I've heard good things.

I have ALL kind spices at my fingertips to make something amazing. And I have to thanks Savory Spice for it.. During Covid. I got a little obsessive. And thanks to their online ordering system. It was easy to see what I don't have and order it right then.. The orders are ready for pick up within 24hrs to 48hrs. Each of the bag have a month and year written on it. Because Savory gave me that idea. I went ham on everything in my house with the same system. All sauces to even my skincare. Marked with month and year.. Works out nicely.. I definitely see the difference with the quality of their spices from the smells, colors to how potent it is when it's added to your food. And did I also mention how they have something that you can't find anywhere else! Like the chocolate peppermint SUGAR. Yes sugar!!!! Sooo local Yelpers gave this local small business a try.. they are very knowledgeable with it comes to spices.. And you definitely can tell the difference because your dishes will come out amazingly.

Where can I find it in Charlotte? I pinged them on their website chat this week and asked where it is for sale. They suggested Savory Spice and since I haven't been there (another review!), I made it this morning at opening time. Yes, they're open on Christmas Eve. Other than the honey, lots of spices organized by region. Grilling spices. Baking spices. Cocktail spices. Prices clearly marked and everything displayed for easy browsing. Pretty much everything you need to add flavor to whatever you're cooking. And yes, Cloister Honey! Savory Spice is on the north side of Atherton Mill, next to O-Ku. We were in the area looking on Yelp for a place to have lunch today…read more ....Found this place and thought We would give it a try. My goodness, What a find...This place has it all!! Great dining area that was clean and welcoming, fantastic staff and some of the best Thai food We've ever had. They bring out this wonderful complimentary cup of piping hot soup with your drink order. We ordered spring rolls and the Cashew chicken lunch portion to share. Both came out hot and delicious! We decided while we live in a different part of the city this place is worthy of a special trip to come back. We will be back...Thank you for a great lunch!!

I came by on 6/19 and was sat with no wait at a booth in their bar area. The waitress was very nice and held multiple roles (greeter, waitress, bartender, cashier etc). After ordering she brought us out a complementary sample of some of the best soup I've ever had. The broth was packed with flavor and it had little pieces of tofu in it. I would go back just for the soup alone. The food was equally as good. I ordered the Cashew nut lunch entree that came with white rice. Again, full of flavor and only mildly spicy as I can't handle much heat. Served steaming hot and with a decent portion size. I will definitely be adding this restaurant to my list of places to return. *Sorry for the poor picture quality. The place was dimly lit and I was super hungry so I didn't prioritize photos on this one.

The restaurant gave us BOTH mostly chicken to save on cost and there was barely any beef. See hubby's order and it is ALL chicken (WHICH SHOULDN'T EVEN BE IN THERE !) and just a couple of pieces of beef. In fact, when they brought it to the table, even the waitress thought it was chicken until the (manager?) pointed to some beef under the noodles. One: this should be on the menu as beef & chicken if they are going to do this. Two: this is deception. For this reason I took off a star from my last visit (which was 3 stars because their curry was like a soup instead of an entree - I didn't like it either.) The fried pork pot stickers ($9) were very good. Their chicken wings appetizer with Thai BBQ Sauce ($12) were very good. The Thai tea was good and served in a cute mug. We sat in a booth, which was nice. However, the table next to us had a huge hole in the seat of the material in that booth. My opinion is that the owner does not put effort into the food or the restaurant trying to save money. In my opinion, they are participating in deceptive practices by the substitution of chicken for beef dishes due to cost (see photos for evidence). The waitress was nice. I recommend going elsewhere for Thai food.
