    Pizza slices. Weird cheese
    Leah C.

While browsing delivery.com options that were open relatively late one night, I came across Pepo's Pizza. My husband wanted wings and since the area is definitely lacking in quality pizza so I'm always open to trying new places.. We got the wings with sauce on the side and they were the standard crispy deep-fried wings that you get at pizza places, no complaints there. I got one slice of plain pizza and at the first glance of the cheese I could tell that it wasn't going to be a contender. Maybe it's because we ordered after 11pm but the pizza tasted like it had cooled off and been reheated a few times. Definitely not fresh. The crust was very stale. If you're open late, you should be making pizza until late. In a pinch I'd rather get the sauceless pizza from Uncle Tony's up the block, or the thick crust NJ style pizza from Olga's. If you have time, do yourself a favor and get a pie delivered from Kings.

Loved their freshly baked pizza! Their double cheese and sausage pizzas were amazing. Also, the staffs were super friendly and welcoming.

Rude staff with no manners to the costumers. The food is descent. If you spot any rude behavior, speak up.

Very good pizza. It's hard to find a good pizza in Manhattan especially upper Manhattan (Harlem).

Delicious pizza I was surprised at how satisfied I was. Everything was fresh & hot. It seemed very old school but good school.

Decent food. The fries are great here, plus halal meat pizzas, so I'm a fan. Their philly cheese steak is a little dry, but tasted good.

The arancini was a standout: perfectly crisp on the outside, creamy inside, and served with a rich, delicious sauce that tied it all together. We ended on the tiramisu, which was absolutely worth saving room. It was light, flavorful, and a perfect finish to the meal. What really elevated the experience, though, was the staff. Everyone was genuinely kind and helpful--especially notable for New York--and it made the whole evening feel relaxed and welcoming. A small heads-up: it's a bit tricky to find, so give yourself extra time. That said, the hidden, underground subway setting is part of the charm and makes the whole experience feel unique. I'd love to see more restaurants creatively use these kinds of spaces in the future.

It is located right in the hallway of a subway entrance, next to a bar and across from a coffee shop, and it somehow manages to feel like a cozy, sit-down restaurant right in the middle of NYC. Don't let the odd location fool you, the food here is outstanding. The Neapolitan and Sicilian-style pizzas are both exceptional, with rich, well-balanced flavors and perfectly executed crusts. Every bite tastes high quality. Also, don't skip the house-made lemonade! The experience is even better because of the incredibly friendly and attentive staff. They were all so kind to so many people. From offering to keep leftovers in the fridge until a customer was done at their broadway show, to offering a scone to a young child while he and his father waited for their pizza to be done, it was more than just flipping a table and onto the next tip, it was humanity at its best. Be sure to give See No Evil Pizza a try. You certainly will want to come back again for more.
