Changed out tires and did a good job on them. New truck scraped paint and small dent later I never return. They said nothing and I didn't notice until after I got home. The last time I used them, them installed a lock on the hood drivers side actuator. They tried to shut the hood, bent the hood and then denuded that they did. No offer to fix it. read more

My husband got new tires put on at this location. They gouged the inside/outside of 2 of the rims, scratched the rims pulling the valve stems and the balance was off. He took the truck back to show where his rims had been gouged and they talked him into balancing it again and they broke 2 of his center caps. So we ordered (ourselves) new center caps and he has called repeatedly and spoken to Colton Berry, who keeps putting him off and saying he'll have to speak to someone else and get back to him then never does. This is absolute horse shit. Do not go here. Do not have work done. They do not respond after fucking your rims up and breaking your stuff! read more

We have been trying to get our car serviced with Pepboys of Weatherford. The first time my husband showed up (with an appointment) and the staff was locked out because the manager hadn't shown up. My husband then returned today (with app.) only to be told they can't do the service because Acura has a certain tool they don't have to change fluids. I had no idea what was wrong with my car but it wouldn't start and if it didn't it wouldn't stay on and Bryan checked some things for me and figured the problem out super fast. He listened to me explain what i've heard and seen which is nice because most of the times they don't listen. He had me in an out within an hour! Bryan was quick, helpful, and even funny! Very pleased and satisfied with this Pep Boys! Victor, the assistant store manager and Tyler is who worked with us. They were excellent to work with. We brought our truck in after we had some previous work done with the Pep Boys in the Colorado Springs, CO location. There was an issue with the parts that had been replaced in our truck and these guys fixed the problem and went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied and had a great experience with them. Went online. Purchased tires. Made an appointment to have them mounted. Paid with a credit card. Website said they had the tires. Get a phone call from the store they don't have the tires. Call customer care at corporate. Was absolutely no help at all. Terrible customer service. Never again will I do business with pep boys. They are not reliable. They have no idea what they have in stock. Of course the guy that called tried to up sale me a much more expensive set of tires. Actually pretty shady way to do business. read more

Great experience on Labor Day. I had a problem with steering after hitting a ditch with my truck. They were busy but friendly with all who came in. When they got to mine and the manager test drove it and said it felt pretty scary. They were able to find the bracket I bent and get it fixed up. I was probably waiting about 90 minutes total in their lobby and saw really good customer service given to all. Impressive location on a holiday. read more

Absolute CROOKS! Let me preface by saying I am a 9 month pregnant mother of two children. I took my car to this location for the standard $99.88 brake package. They called me about an hour after I dropped it off to inform me that I needed to pay about $500 to get my brakes repaired. No big deal except I called my Dad (who I usually trust to help me make decisions like this) and he told me to take it somewhere else for another opinion because he had heard that "Just Brakes" wasn't a reputable company. I called Just Brakes back and told them that I didn't have the money for repairs and that I would come and pick it up shortly. When I got there with my two young kids in tow I went to the front desk and before I even opened my mouth the Mechanic on duty shouted at me in front of a waiting room full of customers "You ain't getting far in a car in that bad of shape, I hope you don't fly off the road" and proceeded to THROW my key at me and turn around and walk out of the room slamming the door behind him. I drove my car straight to another car repair place terrified. When I arrived at the other place I didn't mention taking the car anywhere else. A few minutes later the mechanic walked in asked where I had taken it previously. Shocked I told him what happened at Just Brakes. The mechanic made me follow him to my where my car was and showed me that Just Brakes had not even bothered to screw my rotors back on my car, he literally could turn the screws with his finger nail on both sides. Moral of the story is the company let a hugely pregnant lady with two kids leave in a car that they didn't even bother to put back together. Myself, my unborn child and my two toddlers could have died because they were angry about not getting their commission off of fixing my brakes and therefor didn't bother to put things back as they found them. I am filing a report formally about their negligence and am thankful that I am not dead. read more

Do not get work done here. I went in for a brake problem on a Ford 150, Ford has somethng special to do with the brake system they told me and it required alot more work to change pads and rotors $800 worth. I took it to Southwest Ford, they did the work for $180.00 at the deaaler. And told me just brakes wasnt telling the truth.. read more

I had my brakes "rebuilt" in February of 2012 at this place after they insisted I had lots of problems. I paid over $800. My car now shakes when I apply the brakes first noticed about 1 year later. After getting worse, I took it back and was told last Tuesday at around 9am that it would "be a long time before we can even look at it." I brought it back the following Thursday as per their suggestion just after 7am. The guy said it would be 2-3 hours before they could get to it. I looked at the completely empty bays in disbelief. He said he could look at it if I wanted him to but I would have to leave it if it needed work. He pulled off the wheels and said everything looked fine. He didn't take the brakes apart at all. He said he could machine the rotors at $80 each. I asked about the warranty on the previous work done and he said it would only be 4 months or 4 thousand miles. I was told I had to get all of that work done so that it would be lifetime warranty. The first guy totally lied to me and the second guy was completely lazy. Do yourself a favor. Had the brakes repaired on wifes Honda Pilot & after several days my wife mentioned they were making a noise & felt like they're grinding. When I took the car bake up to Just Brakes, an employee drove the car around & came back & stated no noise & to come back if it proceeded. My expectation was that they pull the wheels & make sure all was well; but that didn't happen. I took the car to another brake company & they removed the wheels & found a couple of minor issues that were either missed or had failed to hold. So I will not ever take another vehicle of mine or my companys to this establishment. read more

AWFUL PLACE! The people that work there are the most unprofessional I have ever dealt with. They told me how horrible my brakes, calipers, rotars, tie rods, bearings etc... were and talked me into spending over $1000 on my truck. I figured that's what their business is and trusted them. Something that was supposed to take 4 hrs took 6, and the whole time the crew was laughing and joking and messing around to the point that I knew that something wasn't going to get fixed properly. Sure enough, a couple of days later it's leaking brake fluid out of the rear end. Brake pads have to be replaced, it sounds like my brakes are locked up, and it is trying to pull me off the road. The warranty is only good if I take it back to Just Brakes, but i would rather spend $2000 somewhere else than let those yahoos touch my truck again. I hope the owner of Just Brakes reads these reviews and does something about it. read more

This is one of the worst businesses I have ever dealt with. I don't even want to give it a star. I went in there about five months ago because they was a grinding noise on my brakes. They inspect it and make up a estimate of $800.00 worth of work. I told them I didn't have time to get it done, i didn't have the money and I just wanted an idea of what the problem was. The guy behind the counter would just retort "what do you have to do today? Well your car is already on the lift. It's already taken apart. You're already here. What's so important that you have to leave. We have a credit card that you can apply for if you can't afford it, let's just see if you get approved." I was forced to get my car fixed by these jerks who ended up taking almost SIX hours to change brakes on a small car. So for five months now I have a terrible a reaching noise coming from my brakes any time I push on them, I get one free day to which I take it up there because everything should be under warranty still and BOTH techs test drive my car and they are on the opposite side of the building and I can hear the screech from inside the lobby. After an hour they call me out to the shop to show me the brakes and they say "nothing is wrong with your brakes." So I said well they shouldn't screech like they do, which I know y'all heard. The tech said " well brakes just make noise" I said " no they don't" he replied with a "yes they do" so I said "so all of the cars on the road should have agonizing screeching brakes? My brakes didn't screech like this before I brought my car in here. They shouldn't be making that kind of noise, especially after five months of wearing in." To which both techs just stood there doing nothing with no retort expect a "your brakes are fine" I demanded they get my car out and I left. It is the worst business. They are crooks and I do not recommend anyone ever going there. read more
