My experience with my relatively new truck braking down some 30+ miles away from home, filled me and my little girls with anxiety and uncertainty as to how to get help and how to get home. Thanks to the diligent and professional service received from Mr. H. Crespo, the Ponce By Pass Pep Boys Service Manager, it turned out to be a much easier situation. Mr. Crespo personally went with a Pep Boys mechanic to where my car broke down, about a mile from his store, he helped me with towing options, and managed to make me feel calm and assured that Pep Boys would help me out. Mr. Crespo made me feel that Pep Boys was my home away from home, the family or friend you need to call in the event of car trouble. My truck's problem was determined to stem from a Toyota recall I hadn't received, so once again, he walked me thru the entire process to get my car to the dealer closest to my home, and to get the problem fixed. Once I was at the store, I also received the very courteous service from Mr. Benjamin Almodovar, who as well as Mr. Hector Crespo, made me feel that the best thing that can happen to you if your car brakes down in Ponce, is that you know the phone number to their store. This is an outstanding store to go shopping for car parts. Freddy Soler is an outstanding manager along with his team. They are very professional and courteous, and are always willing to help customers find an alternative solution for their needs. Freddy and his team are very knowledgeable of what they sell and always have a variety of products to offer. This is the store I go, to buy things for my car. Don't waste my time going to the competition because they don't offer me what pepboys does. One thing I also like is the organization, layout of store and how clean the store is always. I really feel awsome for this company, the service is outstanding. The personnel is excellent. I shop there at least three to five times a month depending on the car or cars necessity. This is definately the best place to go shopping for car parts. Even when i want to distract my mind i go to the store for window shopping due to the fact that the store has a pleasant presentation. Recently my SUV broke on the highway and I had to call a Towing Service. They took my 2003 Lincoln Navigator to the nearest Pep Boys located in Ponce near carretera #2 . I am very pleased with the service they have provided me. Jonathan Grande and Daniel Ramos made my -not so great day- into a better one.
