Lied, but very friendly about it. Brought my car in, missing my front left inner fender, the one in my wheel well. I had the part and asked if they could replace it. They accepted and said they'd look into it shortly. After about 3 hours, they finally pulled my car in and took the wheel off to look. They proceeded to say none of the pieces I needed to mount it on were there. Paid $35 and left. Got home, decided to take a look myself, and every bolt, washer, and grommet I needed to mount it was still in there. (Maybe missing a push fastener or two) but I wasn't missing EVERYTHING. The "manager" Lea is horrible. Treats her employees like scum, and abuses her power constantly. She doesn't even know anything about cars, but wants to try and mansplain to her own employees how to do their job! The entire store too loves to overcharge. Its absolutely ridiculous. Would not recommend took my car in for tires to get replaced and they broke my sensors on my bmw probably because they were not being careful and my light came on and then they would not buy new ones to fix it instead they'd said to take it to bmw to have it re coded which you could do on the I drive so i tried that and it would work and they refuse to fix it now my lights on. would not recommend better off taking it to a different shop read more

I booked a 12:30 appointment today for an oil change in the store at Navy/Jackson in Pensacola.  I took time off work to make this appointment.  When I got to the dealership they said they were not honoring any appointments and that if I wanted my truck serviced that I would have to drop it off!   This is pretty much the definition of " I don't care about the customers time" as far as I'm concerned.  I never received an apology from either employee for wasting my afternoon.  They acted like I was in the wrong for even making an appointment there.   Well, you don't have to worry about me ever making an appointment there again!  I went down the street to a competitor...even though they were about 30 dollars more then Pep Boys, I gladly paid them for their service (they actually had good customer service unlike Pep Boys on Navy/Jackson). read more

Made a 9 am appointment for a simple flat tire repair. Arrived early and checked in with a older woman at the counter. I was ask to sign my name twice to a legal document I didn't understand and she couldn't explain. She quoted a price of $26. I thought that was high but said ok. The AC was out in the waiting area and she said customers had to wait outside at the orders of company lawyers. At 9:15 I returned to ask what's up with my 9 am appointment. The lady replied like I was being unreasonable. She said the reservation was not for a time certain but only for the "next available bay" after my appointment time. When I replied that such a disclaimer was not disclosed when I made the appointment, she questioned me about the accuracy of appointments at my doctor's office and walked away. I returned again at 9:30 to say I wanted to speak with the technician about the puncture. She put on her exasperation face and said that wasn't allowed; thst I had to speak with her and she would translate to the tech. I said ok; let's go outside and look at the tire. Again, she fled like a frightened deer. When the tech came outside, I had the trunk of my vehicle open and the tire exposed. When he started to close the hood without saying a word to me, I stopped him and said I wanted to consult. He looked at me with wide eyes like he had never talked to a customer before. I pointed out there was an obvious screw puncture but there was also a suspicious point where there could be another that he should check. He did not voluntarily utter one word throughout this exchange. A few minutes later the counter lady came outside and said there indeed as another puncture and the price would be doubled to $52. This was the last straw. I asked that my vehicle be returned. I drove a few blocks to an Autozone and purchased a tire repair kit for $13. Within a hour of returning home, I replied both punctures on my own. My advice: stay away from this Pep Boys. Other reviews I've read have complained about the rudeness of this front desk person but no thing seems to happen. read more

I called this store on a Monday to make an appointment for an oil change. The soonest they could get me in was that Wednesday, so I took the appointment. When Wednesday rolls around, I go to the store and check in. The lady behind the counter, who is, by any definition of the word, dismissive, points to the sitting area. I sit there for about 20 minutes, and they lady calls me back to the counter to inform me that they did not have an oil filter in stock for my car, nor the oil. She said I can try back another time (I was leaving out of town that Friday). No apology, plus she made it seem like this happened all the time. I asked why they didn't let me know before I took off work and drove to their store. She merely shrugged, and said "It was probably in stock when they made the appointment." I can't remember the last time I received such terrible service--I guess I didn't even receive service right? Again, I will stress, no apology. It was clear the store functions in this haphazard way, and does not think this is a problem. Avoid at all costs! read more

I am not one to write bad reviews, if I do not like the service provided, I just won't go back to that vendor. However, the behavior I experienced at this shop needs to be shared. On 11/27 I went to take my car in to change all tires. It was not an easy transaction as the lady at the front desk was obviously having a bad day. I had also purchased an install package and, even though I had the receipt with me, she refused to accept it. Long story short ,the issue was resolved thanks to the business that sold me the tires. They had to call this shop directly and solved it. That afternoon, my tire sensor light comes on the dashboard. We checked tire pressure and drove around to see if it will go off. It did not, so I went back to Pep boys the next day to ask them to please check what was happening. The same lady at the desk was rude and extremely condescending to me. She is also overworked and understaffed, she made sure to tell everybody waiting in the lobby how terrible her job is. They finally come out to tell me that one of my sensors was bad and that it was bad before. IT WAS NOT and there were no lights on my dashboard before I took my car in. She argued and told me all I had to do was buy a new one for almost $200. I was upset as they would not take any responsibility and really did not care what I was saying at all. I asked for the manager and she told me "1800pepboys", just like that. Fast forward to this week, I took my car in to a real mechanic and there was nothing wrong with any of my sensors. Pep Boys on Warrington Rd just did not reprogram them after installing the tires. My mechanic did it for free for me :) Please note that I did call the number she game me for corporate. I did get a call back but was a total waste of time. read more

I can't believe these guys only have 3 Stars. So far I've been to this location 3 times and the customer service AA and repairs they made on my car are On Point! They even paid for a Lyft so me and the wifey could have breakfast while they repaired our car. Who does that?! These guys sure know how to make a bad situation just unbelievably frustrating. I got a flat on my way home from work, put on the spare, and called this location. The lady that answered the phone started that there would be a wait, but assured me that they'd be able to fit me in, so I got back in my car and got there 15 minutes later. I walk in and explain my situation to the man standing at the counter, to which he very rudely informs me that there's no way. I mention that the lady on the phone stated that they would be able to, and he starts complaining about all the things he has to do and that it's just not possible. He then tells me that the location up the road has been slow all day, so go there. I take his word, head up the road, only to run into the exact same issue. Now, I understand that they're busy and it's the end of the day, just don't waste my time. If you can't fit me in, don't say you can. And if you're trying to get rid of me, just say so and don't send me any further on a spare tire. Needless to say, neither my husband nor I will come back here, nor will we ever recommend this place to anyone. read more

I only gave this one star because there is a miscommunication somewhere with this location . The girl at the counter wanted to charge me $100 for my first oil change. Really? I have never paid that ever, even from the dealership. Nothing special, just a basic oil change. She refused to give me the quoted price the tech the day before had quoted and she said my car cannot take anything but purely synthetic oil.. which is a lie. I checked with the dealership and by my vehicle's standards, actually yes you can use the synthetic blend and oh yes, their charge was only $34.95. I will not come back to this location become she was rude and didn't bother to check with anyone else there about possible wrong information she might be giving me. I really wanted to like this place because I heard good reviews but obviously something has changed. read more

All I can do is laugh in frustration at this business. Good prices for the parts though and that's about it. So my tire had a flat. I put a spare on it. Came to Pep Boys Tires at 8am to see if my tire was ruined or can I get it plugged up. The lady behind the counter said your tire should be ready at 10am and they'll let me know the details. I called back at 11:30am, the lady said my tire should be out in 10 mins and it only needs a plug and it's ready. She called back and said my tire is not fixable and had a big while on the side. She said they'll have a new tire at the store by 3pm. I came to the store at 3:30pm asking about the tire. The tire wasn't there yet smh. They said come back later. I said ok will do. Pep Boys Tires calls me 2mins later after I leave and said my tire is here. Wth!? They've been giving me the run around all day. This is unacceptable. read more

These people rip you off go to any of your local mechanic shops before you go here. All I asked for was a diagnostic of my cooling system YouTube was more helpful so obviously they don't have the tools to fix it and have the same knowledge as me because the quote for $2500 was a little far from the $17 part the took 45 minutes to replace. I tried to get a tire repaired because it had a screw in it just over an inch from the sidewall. They refused to repair it because they said it was to close to the sidewall. When asked how far from the sidewall it had to be, they said an inch and pointed to the center of the tire. Well that is about 3 inches in! They just did not want to do it! Took my tire to discount tire and they said it was well with in the DOT regulations to be repaired. Discount tire on fairfield did it for free! I know when I need tires...Pep boys will definitely not be my choice to purchase tires. Pep boys was in my opinion just trying to sell be a new tire. read more

Took my husband's truck, the mechanic, Vicente Gutierrez. Poor guy has no morals! My husband's truck was not fixed right and we tell him and he starts acting like he is going to start fighting someone, other employees acting like they are holding him back, very unprofessional. Also, the vehicle was wrecked while under the care of pep boys and not 1 person from pep boys contacted us. The lady who hit it notified us 2 days after the fact. Absolutely fuming! So my little sister bought a battery from this store less than a year ago. She said the battery died so we went to the Mobile Hwy store nearby and the battery tested bad with the slip. They were able to lookup the warranty, but unable to exchange it manually because the receipt showed the battery came from the New Warrington store. Naturally, we went to New Warrington and the service writer there told us to bring in the car to make sure there is nothing wrong with the vehicle... Are you serious? How do you expect me to bring in a vehicle when its battery tested bad? I'm obviously taking my business elsewhere. read more
