Not only is Stacy an amazing business owner, but she is a leader in our community who shares the passion and love of reading with people of all ages. Stacy has partnered with Peoria Public Schools to sponsor a free little library at Hines Primary School and has made huge donations to our elementary school classrooms so that teachers can have a wide variety of books for students to read every day. I've been doing business with the Peoria Book Rack for as long as I can remember. Stacy is a wonderful small business owner who tries to cater to everyone. You can find children's books out front of the store for FREE! She donates books to schools and has a great reputation in our community. The store though! You can find almost any book or a unique gift for anyone. I love picking up a puzzle for my granddaughter or a new book for my kids and mom. Our store has been here since 1970 - the very first of its kind in the Peoria area. I took it over in 2016 and have expanded it twice. We pride ourselves on our excellent customer service and our large selection of both new and used books. We have a huge literary gift shop with bookish soy candles and melts we actually make in house. We give tens of thousands of books away to local teachers and students every year, as well as nursing homes and Little Free Libraries. I love the Book Rack in Peoria, Illinois! It has been my absolute favorite used bookstore for years, and it has expanded to gifts and superb candles and wax fragrance melts as well. This bookshop is the best in Peoria imo. The owners work really hard at promoting literary as well as giving away free books to the community. They have little library boxes that they fill with free books and give out books in front of their shop everyday on a book cart. I love the dollar book sales. All the books are one dollar, even the more expensive books. If you haven't been there yet, you need to go. They expand soon so it will be quite large in a few months. read more

i found this book store when I moved to Peoria and loved it.
