However, my last trip I was told flat out that certain clothes were too expensive for me. This has happened more than once. And let me be the judge of that. Then I was given unsolicited advice in how to mother my child. I also got judged when she learned my child was not potty trained. I have honestly tried avoiding conversations with the store owner because her judging me has been happening more often. I understand she also gets customers who do not stay on top of their kids and leave messes, but I have consistently had them pick up after themselves. She must have me mixed up with someone else who never does that. Or she takes one look at me and makes who preconceived judgment calls about me. Honestly, I am starting to look at other baby shops. I will travel up to 45 minutes versus the 3 minutes if I can avoid another uncomfortable conversation with her.

I wish they would focus on actual good brands but like TJ Maxx and Marshalls there is a tendency for about half the items to be Chinese knockoff styles and some of the fashion cuisine isn't quite my taste. That's OK, I show for that other random percentage of quality Brazilian crafted carbon steel cookware, men's personal care, and accessories brings me back, a Denim and Flower button up summer shirt, Nike athletic shorts, shoes, woops let's not kid ourself there are no good shoes here! But for everything else the variety and occasional quality brand shows up making the trips worth it.
