Food is good, we had the chicken pandan, which was a bit burnt, the cat fish salad which was my favorite and the pomelo salad which had lots of cilantro in it which I'm Not a fan of then we also tried the pad Thai which was okay. I didn't enjoy the pad Thai that much bec it lacked some flavor in it, lots of bean sprouts on top and not so much noodles. The service was great, they were attentive but at times hard to catch their attention, the ambiance was on point, they had nice and clean interiors too that is picture ready! Need to make a reservation bec they're often booked everyday.

My absolute favorite Thai restaurant to eat when visiting Manila. The service is top notch! Food is absolutely delicious. Great service. Very attentive. Ambiance is perfect!

We found this Thai place through Yelp. It's located in Greenbelt 3. It's located near the church in Greenbelt 3. This place is a bit pricey and the portions are a little small compared to any regular Chinese restaurant but this is Thai and I can't compare them. However, the place is nice and very clean. We're a party of 10 and we have to order double on every item we ordered. The food is excellent and good. We should have ordered 3 of each item instead of two to satisfy our cravings. Their crispy fish is delicious. As well as their crispy pork belly. I don't know if they serve authentic Thai food but their menu is good and appetizing. If you're in Manila and want something different than Filipino food, you can try this Thai restaurant for a change.

Great place to eat! The food was amazing. Of course the company makes the difference too. If you're in Makati and in Greenbelt looking for great Thai food it was delicious . The stand out was the Bagaoong Fried rice only because it's so different from anything I've ever tried. Great way to experience something new in another country. We enjoyed everything . The ambiance was cool chic. Very clean and the wait staff was so friendly and nice.

This for me is one of the best Thai restaurants in Manila. It might be one of the pricier ones but it does have better quality than average. I enjoyed the food so much that I forgot to take pictures we had Tom Yung, Pad Thai, the usual. The one that tasted lechon kawali was exceptional. The sauce made it taste even better. I wish there was more pork than veggies. The chicken with cashews was also good but the tofu was boring. That's the major reason I deducted a star. The mango with sticky rice was also good. Service was attentive and the ambience was classy but not snooty. No wonder I keep going back to eat here.

We were able to walk in to be seated, but they recommend making reservations. This is my relatives favorite place for Thai food. We usually order numerous appetizers, which is exactly what I did when there were just the 2 of us having dinner here. The ambiance, food, and service here is 5 stars. The only reason I deducted a star is because they only honored 1 senior discount despite both identification cards that were presented, which were Philippine issued identification cards. I usually order pomelo salad if it's available at Thai restaurants. I happen to love Prawn Crackers so I ordered the sweet Prawn with Pork Relish. Don't let the name of the dish fool you. It doesn't have that typical pickled relish taste. It has more of a curry taste to me. The crispy squid didn't have as much salt and pepper as other restaurants that serve this dish. My husband loved his Panaeng Beef Cheek Curry.

Ambiance 5/5 Service 5/5 Quick to plate 5/5 Food taste 2/5 The pomelo salad was nice and unique. The pad Thai was alright The crispy lapu lapu lacked flavor The tom yum goong was light and natural but lacked sour and taste The drinks were nice For the price I expected much better taste. Unfortunately mango tree is better and that's not even the best here in manila

One of my favorite places for Thai Cuisine in the city, I've tried other restaurants in the city, but this restaurant is still the prime. My favorites are Lamb Curry, Pad Thai, Pomelo Salad, and Mango Sticky Rice. People's Palace is one of my go-to's.

ambiance are so neat and wonderful.. i love this place

Honestly, I am perplexed with the high rating. I've definitely had much better Thai food in Canada, which is surprising, considering Philippines is closer to Thailand. Anyway, I did not find the flavours to be anything special, nothing like the flavours synchronizing with each other, which Thai food is known for. Nothing about the taste of this meal is spectacular. After saying all that above, the cost is actually quite high for a Thai place, even higher than the other restaurants around the Greenbelt area which I tried. Honestly. The chicken wrapped in leaves was rock hard. I did not even taste the fish in the lapu lapu dish... was it frozen? The pad thai was crap. It was just sweet. wtf. The bagoong fried rice was way too salty, it just tastes like bagoong. I've had better tom yum from a soup base I bought at an asian supermarket. The sticky mango rice was probably the best thing I tasted, oh and the milk tea, it was ok, but I've had better for sure. This place is located inside a mall. The venue looks all right. We did not have to wait to get in, although it was busy there for lunch.

Peoples Palace is just about the hottest Thai Restaurant in Manila right now and the buzz has been following me since back in New Jersey....I can see why. Reservations are a must and even then you're in a holding pattern for that time. Walk ins are asked for their phone number and then expect another 1 to 2 hour wait if at all. The dining room is minimally furnished, all hard woods and sharp white plastic edges, plain walls,2 modern motifs over the bar and some benign art scattered about that's it. This room is all business.... eat.pay, and get the hell out ..we have diners waiting. Menu is extensive and covers everything from the ever faithful pad Thai to duck curry but we decided to go with the favorites. First up. The pomelo salad, sanctioned pomelo, shrimp, cilantro, onions,Thai basil in a tart lime/kaffir/fish sauce and sugar dressing. Sweet, sour, spicy and shrimpy all at the same time. Very good appetizer to start the meal. The Tom yum was so complex and savory with a spicy bite that gently creeps up on you ....then before you are completely aware you go "damn that's pretty hot!" The shrimp as well as the fermented fish belly lends its distinctive taste and I had a ball sucking on the fat shrimp heads. The sautéed water spinach was a bit too salty but all was forgiven when both the duck and chicken curries hit the table. Duck curry was in a red curry sauce that was hot and sour from the tamarind paste, salty from the top shelf fish sauce and spicy from the Thai chili's. Chicken in yellow curry with sweet potatoes was creamy from the coconut milk based sauce with the potatoes lending that satisfying sweet finish. Both of these dishes required several trips from the waiter dispensing aromatic steamed rice from a large metal bowl. The breaded and fried Lapu lapu was next and the flaky meat was clean and fresh Rare sliced beef with a lemongrass fish sauce was so pungent with all the aromatics that we barely touched it but the fried pork belly salad? Was a thing of beauty.... succulent ,crispy and sweet. I absolutely love Filipino pork. This was a huge meal ( there were 10 of us) service never wavered, food came out quickly but well spaced, prices were high by Manila standards but reasonable by US standard so a good meal....... but. In my mind People's Palace strikes me as having too much of a production line " get them in and get them out" ethic and I believe the food reflects that. Seasoning were at times overdone, presentation messy and some taste become " muddy" for the lack of a better word. Go, eat, enjoy... People's Palace may well be the hottest Thai restaurant in Manila but I doubt the best. The quest continues.

Rustic decor with lots of wood from floor to table as you would expect in a Thai setting. It was not busy when we arrived and was seated right away. We ordered the crispy pork and papaya salad. The crispy pork was good but didn't think anything exceptional. The papaya salad was crunch and spicy, just the way we like it. You can order it mild if you don't like spicy. Pad Thai is one of the signature dish and a must order. When served, egg is covering the noodles and they mix it for you. True Thai flavor. Delicious and highlight of our meal. We also ordered the stir fried Kangkong (morning glory), another favorite. Rice need to be ordered separately. Only curry dish comes with rice on the side. Staff was very attentive and take their time in answering questions or responding to our asks. Definitely going back again to try their other dishes! :-)

When we walked in, the delightful aroma of the cuisine piqued our appetites (but didn't overwhelm). The interior of the restaurant is warm and inviting and beautiful. We ordered three dishes to share (Green Chicken Curry, Crispy Pork with Stir-Fried Kale, Rice Noodles in Thai Gravy). Everything was so mouth-watering, flavorful, aromatic and well made. You can request different spice levels (we went mild since my parents have an aversion to spice, but I can see the dishes getting pretty hot, if that's your thing.) For dessert, we shared a Mango Sticky Rice Sundae and it was so so so good. The mango was sweet and fresh, the sticky rice was warm and perfectly sticky, and the ice cream was tasty and creamy. Everything came together so well-- I could've inhaled the whole sundae myself! The server was friendly and helpful, guiding us and answering our questions about portion size, spice level, and recommendations. Definitely highly recommend Azuthai--I'm going to have cravings from this place even after I leave Manila!

I was unfamiliar with the place so I decided to use the Yelp app. A few searches later, I went inside this Thai place. I had no idea what to expect. I had never even seen thai cuisine. The only thing I knew about thai cuisine was that they originated from Thailand. So I was quite puzzled when I tried choosing from their menu. There was a lot of foreign words. The pictures really helped. I decided to ask the waitress for their best sellers, specialties, and what they were made of. The girl answered all my questions and she was clear about everything. I tried choosing between their soup, rice toppings, and their most famous "Pad Thai". First of all, the Pad Thai was huge. It was a mound of flat noodles served on a large plate. It had a sour smell. There was a bit of crushed nots at the side, a lime wedge, some chicken, sprouted mongo, and the noodles. It was still hot. I used my chopsticks and slurped the noodles. It had a sour spicy taste. A new taste for me. The lime wedge helped to give it that sweet tangy taste. I liked their Pad Thai. For Php 205, it was really sulit. I mean two guys could split it. I'd like to come back to Songkran and try their other thai dishes. But I'd probably be back with friends so I have someone to split the Pad Thai with.

We were immediately greeted by the owners, a Thai husband and wife, and they immediately made us feel welcomed with their inviting smiles and kindness. With our group of 5, we decided to all get different items to try out as much as we could from their menu. Our orders consisted of Thai Bagoong Rice, Roasted Pork Neck, Tom Yum Kung, Pad Thai, Spicy Pork Salad, Morning Glory and the Thai Egg Custard in Pumpkin for dessert. My personal order from the group was the Spicy Pork Salad. When I put in my order, the Thai Manang eyes lit up and asked me if I wanted it spicy, or in her words "Thai Spicy". I laughed, with a bit of fear, and said "Filipino level spicy, please". Something I later thanked myself for. Every single dish we ordered had such a "wow" factor to it, from the plating, to the spice and the overall flavor. With regards to spice levels, there was nothing overbearing but just enough to playfully singe your tastebuds forcing you to always eat another bite. If I had to highlight or recommend any dishes, I'd definitely suggest you try the Morning Glory salad, Tom Yum Kung, and the Thai Egg Custard in Pumpkin. This place is a hidden gem and sadly, it's almost undetectable along the plethora of restaurants located on Jupiter Street in Makati. If you've been to this area, you know exactly what I'm talking about. But trust me, if you're even a remote fan of Thai or spicy food, you owe it to yourself to give Siam Aroi a visit.
