I will say the rental was relatively cheap and everything was pretty simple to get taken care of. My only issue with this place was on a Saturday morning, where everyone is looking to get their rental this place has a brilliant idea to do a one man show taking care of everybody. What company who is expecting to be successful on a Saturday thinks this is a good idea? Apparently this one... this should probably be a 3* review, but I only had to wait behind one person. By far the worst experience we've had moving. 1st truck didn't make it one mile to my house to load up before check engine light came on. Brought back to Penske. Second truck made it the mile to my house. We loaded it, then the check engine light came on. Unable to delay our trip with them unloading/ reloading into another truck, we insisted a mechanic come take a look. He looked at it and said the diesel exhaust fluid heater was out. Nothing he could do. Shouldn't be a problem. We took the truck and went 30-35 mph up any hill, for 1800 miles. Texas Penske rep refunded us about 1/3 of rental costs, which saved my relationship with Penske. Do not rent from this store. The worst. The car trailer lighting cord was a mangled mess. Wires exposed from being drug by the last renter. When I told them about it they handed me electrical tape. Said just wrap it, it should be fine. The strapping holding the front two tires came loose twice during our trip, damaging the front splitter on my wife's 80k car. Normally, I may read that and think it's the renters responsibility to secure the car (true). But I'm a 25 years of experience construction co owner. I strap things down for a living. Their equipment was/ is junk, at pick up. The roll of electrical tape had me thinking that, but we had a house purchase closing to make. Had to go. We, the renters, shouldn't have to distinguish between junk/ faulty equipment and decent. Again, I'd do business with Penske again. Overall, the company gets 4 stars. Save yourself time, money and hassle by avoiding Everett Penske at all cost. read more

It has been nearly two months since we were supposed to take delivery of this truck and we still have pending issues. When we finally got delivery well after a month from original delivery date after returning it to the shop twice we found the trailer brake line was defective and the compression brake did not work. Now I am going to have to take it out of service to fix that. Due to rental, missed runs, repairs, my loss is approaching 10,000.00 dollars which is absolutely devastating to my small business. Then there are my employees who lost pay due to not having a truck to operate. This hurts people. What upsets me this most is the promises to help, and nothing, no replies, ignoring questions. Is this really the impression you want to leave with someone who will eventually need to buy more trucks and need more rentals? Is this the impression you want to leave with someone who is in a group of trucking company owners? I wouldn't if it was my business. read more

I have a 3 year lease and I was told that everything is covered but I had a flat time on the road and they charged me $427. I wish I could give zero stars but they don't give that option! I rented a truck eight weeks in advance in order to get a 26 foot lift gate, I rented from Lynnwood and I called one week after renting it and wanted to verify. They told me that they were not going to guarantee a liftgate nor a 26 foot truck and the only way I could do that is if I drove to Everett and got the truck! I'm glad I confirmed! I then went to Everett to get the truck and they only had a 20 foot truck with a lift gate! I needed the 26 foot with the liftgate which is why that is what I booked! They proceeded to give me a 24 foot truck with no liftgate! I then took the truck because it was the day of the move and I feared I would be stuck with nothing if I just walked out! I ended up having to rent a whole Nother truck because that was not enough space to move all of my furniture! They wanted me to drive it all the way back to Everett which is a 3 Hour Dr. not to mention the mileage and the gas! But that was only if I had the liftgate which I obviously did not get! I complained and they told me I could drop it off in Chehalis which I did and I have receipts to prove that I filled the tank up along with five witnesses. They charged me $152 for gas even though I filled it up! Basically what I'm trying to tell you is these people are liars and thieves and I would definitely advise against renting from them!!!! I am going to take further action against them as well as get on every website I can and let everybody know my story! read more

Easy in and out picking up my Penske rental. They were helpful and I got on the road quickly. I would recommend them.

I was in a bind on moving day after showing up to the original company I scheduled a rental from and being told they didn't have a truck for me, and having a truck rented out from under me at a second place. I ended up calling this location, and they managed to get me a truck, totally last minute. It was more than I was planning on spending originally, but the truck I got was one of the only trucks left in a 15-20 mile radius during the busy August moving season. I really appreciated the friendliness and flexibility of the staff at this location and would not have been able to complete my move had it not been for them. Thank you! read more

whoever worked on this shift on 5/27/2017 around 10 am, is desevered to get fired, i called this place to rent 10 foot truck after exhaust all the option with u hual, the guy on the phone said there is one truck left with flat rate of 99.99 per day plus .99 cents per mile, i told him that triple the price from u hual, they are only 29.99 per day plus .99 cents per mile, and the guy said we are the only one with the truck, so i said becuase of that you can gouging the price and take advance of the people who need it, he is not response except saying you want or not, i decide not taking it becuase i hate people like this. never do business with this place again read more

Been renting trucks from them since 1991 with no complaints whatsoever. They have the best rentals you can get, a shop onsite giving the trucks all the TLC your own car could only wish it got. We have rented from 5 different rental companys. U haul cant even compare. read more

I'm writing this review because this particular Penske, not Penske nationwide, is a joke. If your idea of customer service is to be ignored, blown off, given excuses and left in the lurch, you're going to be pleased as punch. When you go in, you'll notice 6 or 7 guys sitting around doing nothing, giving you a quick furtive glance as they try to avoid talking to you, having to do anything, or actually meeting even the most modest and rudimentary expectations of customer service. Go ahead, bring your rental or lease vehicle in for maintenance or repairs; they'll take weeks, even months to get the job done- and you'll invariably wind up taking it to another shop to get it done right the second time WITHOUT taking an ice age and a bucket's worth of sneering, condescending, crappy attitude. All this, along with faded, dusty posters all over the walls prattling on about their forevermore lasting love of the principles of customer service. Lazy, hostile, arrogant, irresponsible- how this particular shop stays in business is nothing short of a miracle. Don't waste your time, money, patience, or sanity with these jokers, people. read more
