My husband and I stayed in a B&B near the Termini for 2 nights in Rome, and our 3rd night was at Hotel Stella. This hotel was also located about 5-7 min walk from Termini station, so super convenient for those that are traveling by train or metro.
There was a fridge in the room, and size was decent. An elevator was made available for those to get to their respective floors, we were on floor 3. Internet connection was good in our room, and also available in the lobby. They allow you to store your luggage if you are arriving early in the day (so you would just stow it in the lobby room). The receptionist(s) were friendly and accommodating as well, and the rooms were clean.
The street in which the hotel is located on - is not that busy, so rooms were quiet for us. :) The only draw-back is that there aren't many eateries super close by (that were open) when we stayed there, so you have to walk at least 5-10 minutes to get to any restaurant that was authentic and good.
Overall, a budget hotel for travelers who don't plan to spend too much time in their room, and convenient enough to metro/train since it's close to the Termini. Felt safe in the neighborhood as well! read more
