In just 2 weeks at Harrison Children's Center, she was potty trained and by the end of that first month her vocabulary had trebled and continues to do so. The teachers, TAs and office staff could not have been more wonderful and supportive of my daughter and me during our transition from city to suburban life. In addition to a great nurturing environment, my daughter benefited from a curriculum and staff that really challenged and stretched her developing mind and growing set of social and life skills. The staff arranges class trips and family nights and the children go out for daily walks and there is outside play in their fenced-in and fully supervised playground almost everyday except in bad / rainy weather. The school serves cold breakfasts and hot lunches prepared by an in-house cook. My daughter has learned art, science, music, sign language and so much more. It's been a year now and I can honestly say that I have absolute trust in these people with the most precious person in my life. There is nothing bad to be said about this program or the fantastic team of people who work in making it all happen. Kudos to Debbie Imperia, the Director of HCC for her unflagging support for this mom with a daughter who manages to delight those around her even while trying their patience! And a special shout-out must go to Kamala Carducci for calming my fears, taking my (many) calls and showing me the ropes of suburban daycare.

The staff there really care and provide the children with a great curriculum. Meals and snacks are provided and they use the Brightwheel app so I know exactly how long my son napped and how many times his diaper was changed along with pictures and videos. They also have a great outdoor area split between the young babies and the toddlers. They are also great with communicating any issues whether that is my child popping a fever or if he injured himself. The location is also very convenient as it's near the Mamaroneck train station. We will miss Happy Feet so much!

According to some of the people who work there, without naming names, it is NOT a welcoming place to work in or be an employee in. Everyone who works there is miserable and disgruntled. It is not a "safe space" environment. I have a direct quote from someone who works there, "it's not very welcoming". There is one employee who is rude to other newer employees. This place needs better management and more professionalism. Have some standards. If you are a daycare, you should be a welcoming safe emotional space for new employees who need training. I know 2 people who work here who have both said these direct quotes about their experience there. Toxic work environment, some people should not be around kids. It might be fun for your kids to go here, but parents think about what you are supporting when you send your kid here. If you are about people, this place isn't it. There are far better daycares in the area.

Alex (she is the daycare director) and Mickey are amazing; with her years of childcare experience, she is constantly updating us about the kids and is very aware of their emotional/physical/mental needs and abilities. My daughter had a speech delay, so Alex and the teachers, Miss Soledad, Miss Johanna, Miss Albany and Miss Maria (who are also excellent) worked with our speech therapist and developmental therapist onsite to better her language skills. Our therapists are impressed with this daycare and their teachers as well. Also, since we have been enrolled, not once has their daycare shut down due to a COVID outbreak! A lot of our friends told us their daycares shut down consistently during the Omicron wave but Sunrise did not experience that. The classrooms are clean, kids wear "indoor" shoes when in the classroom instead of bringing in dirt/sand from outside, they are provided with snacks and breakfast. My daughter loves it here, she thinks of the teachers and classmates as her own family and sometimes does not want to come home with me. Another mom described this place as "a home-style daycare with the professionalism of a larger center" and I totally agree. The children's activities, cleanliness, love and professionalism this place has is outstanding. It's great cross-training to all my running and a great workout. The pros always keep it fun and music helps keep me moving. In general, I can't say enough good things about the club. Beside Cardio Tennis, I have played in numerous Adult Ed programs at night. They have an incredible array of talented pro's and the facility is well-maintained...and the courts well lit, not to mention the willingness of staff to accommodate missed sessions. It all makes Rye Racquet my preferred indoor tennis choice.

The teacher to student ratio in the toddler class is 1 to 5. The preschool ratio is slightly higher at 1 to 7. They really get to know your child and reports their detailed activities to you in writing daily. They follow a regimented schedule so you know when your child is scheduled for outdoor play, small motor skill activities, musical activity and etc. They explain the different forms of play that offers different learning opportunities. They provide nutritious meals and snacks throughout the day so that's one less thing that you have to worry about. The administrators know the students and their parents as well. They don't have to sift through a bunch of papers to figure out who you are. They listen to your concerns and addresses any issues in a timely manner. We tried, but couldn't find a new day care in our new town that offers everything that All Aboard does.

Charlotte is also an wonderful source of parenting advice. The staff there is also outstanding! The girls absolutely loved playing with Miss Nancy. I would wholeheartedly recommend ABC Daycare to any parent looking for a reputable and fun place for their child. You will not be disappointed!
