Last summer they changed vendors for the machine and since then they seem to break quite a lot, and the repairs take forever. For example, currently the leg machine has been out of order for three weeks. And the cable machine is broken every week. So during busy times I end up wasting 15 to 30 minutes waiting for equipment. In the summertime it can get very stuffy inside because they don't have adequate airflow or fans. I have made multiple suggestions in their suggestion box, but as of now seen no results. I am hoping they will be moved to action after reading this review. I give them one more month and after that, I'm switching to somewhere else.

That pretty much is all I needed to know about the gym. Whether it's true or not, the gym only knows. Maybe they do have a theft issue maybe they don't. Maybe they just said that because they thought I was only going to use the bathroom. This review is regarding my experience today, I haven't worked out at this location. From the looks of it, it's a small gym, looks like they have basic equipment, and the bathrooms are only for members... I also learned today that I may look like a thief as well... Lenny (the owner) is super nice and very knowledgable - he has tons of experience and the equipment he includes in his gym is very purposeful. They have at least 2 sets of every dumbbell, so again, you never have to wait or compromise for the weight you want. I also love that there are mirrors everywhere so you can focus on your form. The facility forces members to use mandatory valet parking with no option to self-park. During my visit, the valet staff clearly backed my vehicle into a wall, causing physical paint damage to my bumper. When I decided I was no longer comfortable leaving my car with their valet service and submitted formal written cancellation notices via email, management (General Manager Peter) refused to process my cancellation, claiming I was locked into a long-term agreement despite the property damage caused on-site. They ignored initial communications and flatly refused to acknowledge basic consumer rights or address the vehicle damage. Be extremely cautious before signing any contract here, as they use aggressive contract lock-ins and do not take responsibility when member property is damaged under their mandatory parking setup.

The women's locker room is adequate, but sometimes overflowing if the summer camp kids are there. Depends on what you want in your "work-out" life. If you want glitzy, you'd have to go to a for-profit place, like Lifetime or Equinox. if you want your workout (and beyond) $$$s to support a human rights-based organization with activities across the world such as advocacy of gender equality and women's empowerment, this is a great place.
