I've had different orders printed through Laura and her team including : business cards, custom photos on canvas, a life-size custom print out for my birthday and most recently, (2) "welcome home" banners to welcome my newborn nephew home. The way that Apples &Oranges delivered my most recent order really impressed my family and I, and most importantly, my friend and her family (the person who the banners were printed for). My friend gave birth on a Monday and after I heard, I called Laura at 1:30PM to order a custom "Welcome Home Baby" banner to have an option for visitors to take a picture with instead of the baby (baby was born during the coronavirus). After calling Laura to discuss the order, a follow-up email was sent as a confirmation, then my order was finalized later that day to be ready by Wednesday. The next day (Tuesday), Laura called me at 2:30 PM (just 25 hours after my order was discussed) to let me know the banners were ready for pick-up!!! This is the fastest turn-around I've experienced for anything I've had printed that is this big and custom. The banners are very high quality - you can tell the material is durable so it can be hung outdoors and they look spectacular. At the time, I left a page size file to be printed later (10 on glossy stock). They insisted on giving me a quote. Fine. I had two days to get something printed for a show, and waited that day and half the next for a response. Nada. So I sent an e-mail (I was in yesterday, got this printed, left that file) to inquire about pricing. It was a nice e-mail too, not finger-pointy by any means. Also re-stated the e-mail address and left an additional phone number. Crickets. Nothing. I have a small business and it's critical to me to whom I give work, because I can't afford to make a second or third choice. Plus I want the (vendor, shop, whatever) to actually want the work and/or value the customer. Do I have the wrong haircut? Did i go full-Tourettes and suppress it away afterwards? Not sure why such a simple request couldn't be fielded but I had to scramble for Option B at the last minute, and was unable to do some things I needed for the show. Will not come back here. They were SO very busy that NO ONE in the shop could send an quick e-mail, text or a phone call? (See reply). Sorry, but it sounds like you decided to blow it off instead.

He's extremely tall, so finding good-quality and unique pieces of clothing that fit him properly is always a very difficult task. Anyways, I called LBG and asked if I could pay to have a detailed image/poster of Dr. Strange printed on a 3x article of clothing if I brought them in, and I only had one day before my boyfriend's birthday so I was in a time crunch. I worked a plan out on the phone with Long Beach Graphix, the staff member I spoke to that night was super helpful, and I had all my questions answered within minutes and felt confident I would get the gift in time. The following day I came in at 1 pm and brought my own poster image of Dr. Strange (Marvel Universe) on a USB flash drive and the 3x sweatshirt. I was not expecting much because the quality of screenprints I've received elsewhere has been subpar. However, this was not to be the case at Long beach Graphix! By 4 pm I had a beautiful, one-of-a-kind sweatshirt for my 6'9" boyfriend. It looks and feels fantastic! I was beyond impressed with the quality of printing, I believe we did a Digital Graphic Print, and my boyfriend LOVED the personalized gift. I will say, it's a delicate image but looks incredible so we know to hand wash or delicate cycle it, and hang dry. It should last a long time with proper care. I've used 562 several times to print laptop decals for my computer, and while previous orders were…read morejust cutouts of my logo and were acceptable, this most recent experience was a complete disappointment. I ordered a full laptop decal to cover the front of my laptop, and the quality was subpar. The decal was covered in visible fingerprints, bent easily, and just looked overall poorly made. When I placed my order this past week, I specifically asked if I could pick it up by Saturday, and the person I spoke with confirmed that would be fine. He asked me to send payment via Zelle, which I did. To my surprise, I was able to pick up the order a day early, on Friday, which I appreciated. However, when I arrived, the four decals I paid $45 for were not even protected--he just handed them to me uncovered. The decals already looked of low quality when I received them, but I remained hopeful they might look better on my laptop. Unfortunately, that was not the case. The quality was terrible, so I sent him videos to show the issues and didn't receive a response. After being ignored, I called today to discuss the situation, and when I expressed my dissatisfaction, he dismissed my concerns by blaming the installation. He refused to take any accountability and even mentioned that they use the same material on cars. That's irrelevant--I'm talking about the poor quality of the product you made, not how you use it on other surfaces. I try to be fair, but I don't tolerate businesses failing to take accountability and instead shifting the blame onto the customer. That's simply bad business. I was informed that they don't offer refunds because everything is customized, but if a customer is genuinely dissatisfied, there should be some effort to make it right. That's how I believe good business is done, and I clearly do business differently. So, I won't be returning.
