After searching the Trek website I found only one location within adjoining states that had the…read morebike I wanted and that was Brookside Bikes in Mifflinburg. I searched their website and they indeed had the bike listed. I called the shop at 9:00 in the morning and asked if they would hold the bike until I could get there in 90 minutes. They said they could do that. I arrived at the shop and the bike was out by the register waiting for me. I agreed to purchase the bike and they changed the bike stem to a different size and installed slightly wider tires and a few accessory mounts for me all while I waited in the shop. I was out of the shop with my new bike by noon. The staff at this locally owned bike shop were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The shop seemed quite new and was bright and well lit. I strongly recommend this local bike shop which has a huge selection of bikes.

John helped to adjust the bike to my size, told me about the features of the bike, and also shared some differences - both positive and negative - between the two bikes I'm considering. I haven't decided what I'm going to get next but can easily see visiting this great shop again and riding the trail that runs just behind it - or perhaps taking a bike up to Bald Eagle. Thanks!
